We have a large number of users who have left the company and their IFS IDs are inactive. At the Oracle database level they are also inactive and our DBA would like to remove them.  Does anyone have experience with removing users from the Oracle data base but leaving them in IFS as inactive.  They do not own any schemas, events, triggers, batch jobs, etc.

In 23.2.9, we are not able to connect a material requisition line to a non conformance report.It seems that in the object key ref, the key order_no is missing. So, we cannot search for a material requisition line from the material requisition number.  Conversely, when trying to attach a NCR from the material requisition window, we got an error message. Hereafter are the parameters of the object connections : Any idea regarding this ?

Hello.We have a weird IFS behaviour : on this screen ifsapf:tbwReceiptInfoWe already added a couple of custom fields, they are already available and displayed on ifsapf:frmReceiptInfoAbout ifsapf:tbwReceiptInfo , by realizint a right click → column chooser, even if we add every CF on the right side, and then, by clicking on the OK button, these CF are not displayed.If we return to column chooser, they still appear in the left side.What can we do to display these CF? all of them are persistants and they are not shared with no other view.

Imagine that we buy 2 foot sticks, and that we cut them in half to get 2 one foot stick. Currently we just count-out the two foot stick and count-in 2 one foot stick but this way causes problem since its hard to keep track of the material inventory. Is there a better way to transfer one part number to two new part number? I tought we could make the 1 foot stick with a product structure but then it would mean that everytime we produce end product the step of cutting the stick is in the process. We dont want that since we cut alot of stick that last us a pretty long time. Any suggestion?

Hello, I wondered if there was a way to limit the amount of order lines that populate when pulling up a customer order. We have some very large orders that have thousands of order lines so it can take a while for them to load when we pull up the order. Is there a search parameter or something similar I can set so that the customer order would only load a portion of the lines to begin with? For example, if I only wanted to look at non-invoiced lines, could I load the order with just lines in the “released” status? We are currently still using IFS 9 Applications. 

Hello,in IFS10APPSI have created custom event to release every purchase order just after saving.  Than, when I save new purchase order, nothing happens. The purchase order 433184 is still in “Planned” state. No errors of the event, nothing.  What is wrong with it? Where should I look for error? Thanks in advance Jan

The people to be added to the document distribution list must be registered in the Contacts window. You must have selected one or more documents before using the menu option for document distribution. If you are using e-mail notification as the distribution method, the relevant e-mail address(es) must be registered in the Contact/Contact Method tab.

Hi IFS Guru,I am trying to setup Warehouse Layout (Bays, Rows, Tiers and Bins) in IFS while I was doing the layout found out that during creation of Tiers system is showing double Tiers one in the bracket of Bins and other the same Tiers under Row, it should be in the order of  likeBay>Row>Tiers>BinsSee the screen shot we are using IFS Cloud Version 22R1. Let me know is their any bug or I am doing something wrong. Shez

Hi everyone, when created a resource line where demand type is tools/equipment , after time reporting , in the cost line the cost type is coming as personnel ,But when directly reporting time for tools and equipmentthe cost line shows tools and equipment.I understand this could be something basic but I do not know the logic, can anyone please explainregards

I have a question that >>>> When an attachment (document object) in current LU (LU-2) is inherited (sourced) from another LU (LU-1) through an Object Connection Transformation, the attachment in the LU-2 does not appear in a new LU (LU-3) when the OCT has been configured for LU-2 and LU-3. The attachments originally attached to the LU-2 is successfully transferred to LU-3. Is this how the functionality works (limitation ?) ? Actually, the requirement is to transfer the attachments in the ShopOrderOperation LU (for outside operations where a purchase order is connected) to PurchaseOrderLinePart LU. For that, there is an in-built (system-defined) OCT. It works for attachments attached to the ShopOrderOperation LU itself. But, there are attachments inherited from other OCTs (from InventoryPart, EngPartRevision, etc), and these are not transferring to the PO line with that OCT setup. Hello, I have problem with retrieving SQL command in IFS cloud. In Oracle db this SQL command in picture2 is working but in IFS in some cases is working but in some not. I want to put together values in columns “Superior Part No” and “Popis polo” in column “Nazov”. Where is no Superior No, there would be only “Popis polo” after that should be in column “Nazov” “32 PBA ELA” after that in pic3 is working, but when is in “Superior Part No” value 322 than there is in “Nazov” column 309 and not 322.  Thank you for your advices

I am getting a “Comparison method violates its general contract” error when running the installer for IFS Developer Studio 18 that prevents it from working:  I obtained the installer from this website: https://developer.ifs.com/tools/devstudioI’ve spent hours trying to get the installer to work, but I have not been successful. I have a Workflow on the TravelExpensesManagerHandling projection.  It is invoked via a button/command.  Whenever I want to undeploy the Workflow to change something, I’ve always deleted the item from the Commandgroup in Page Designer in order to allow the workflow to be undeployed.  As a result, it has to be recreated in Page Designer each time the workflow is redeployed.  Is there a way to just “disable” the command in order to allow it to be undeployed so it doesn’t need to be recreated each time? On 23R2SU10 currently.

Hi all We have a customer using FSM (6.22 build 8362) and PSO (6.10.0.13). Previous to upgrading they could see the group the user was a member of, however it appears that during the upgrade Admin group has been dissociated form the users but weirdly they kept the admin rights. This is the same for viewable datasets, The solution used was to add 'viewAllDataSets' permission to the default set which seems to work. Still, the sudden change without any traceable mention in the change log  is worrying - same applies to Admin groups removal. Is there a known bug that could cause this change during the upgrade ?Thanks for your help Keith

Hi All, What is the easiest way to get ‘additional info’ from the Customer Order to other departments - for example to Shop Orders or to Shipments. The info we are talking about are small remarks from the customer that need to be taken into account when producing or shipping the goods. For example: “Pack in boxes no larger than 50x50x50”. Or: “Truck needs to be loaded from the side”, or “do not use plastic when shipping” - “Courier needs to call delivery contact at least 1h before arrival”. Is there an easy way to communicate such information so it is easily visible and accessible? Best RegardsRoel Timmermans

Hi,We have the below Clean Up Touch Apps Logs scheduled task and it has executed successfully.But when mobile device logs are extracted, there are records more than a year ago: Does this mean the scheduled task has not executed properly? Or is this task meant to clear some other set of logs?Is there a way to automatically clear device logs? Thank you!
