We are on 23R1 and we currently use the “Connect to Opportunity” functionality on the Business Activity. We are trying to figure out if there is a way to disconnect an activity from an opportunity in the case where it may have been connected to the wrong opportunity. We can’t seem to find any way in the web ui or in the odata API to disconnect. Is it possible? 

Community, We are on APP10 UPD 9. Recently we had a testing on Purchase Order Authorization Rule for project, and seems like it does not working. below PO line is inherited from project PR, and it does have project connected on the PO line, but when it is being released, the expected PO rule is not fetched. below PO rule DEREG is the expected rule.Does anyone has experience on this? is this a bug?

Hello all,At the moment there seems to be no setting or function to edit or delete the template in the Screen Replenishment Stock. Is there a way for an admin to assign an authorization linked to roles? Maybe I have just overlooked the function. Has someone has an idea how this can be implemented? Best regardsLars Gießler

Hello everyone.Just a quick question. I have several different positions.  In a parent organisation, I have an employee in the manager position. Dans l'organisation fille, j'ai un autre employé avec la position manager et plusieurs autres avec la position Employé.The manager of the parent organisation supervises the employees, but does not supervise the manager of the daughter organisation.   It is not possible for a manager to be the supervisor of another manager if the level of organisation is different? Do we have to have yet another level of position? Wishing you a great day

Hello, i am aware that you can do some simple scripting in the “Visible” field in page designer. The screenshot below hides the attribute on a new record.  My questions is it possible to use this functionality to show/hide an attribute/field based on logged in user or user group? 

Hi Guys I'm wondering if it's possible to restrict access to employee files by site or any other criteria, such as work location? I know currently we can only restrict by Company level.We have a situation where there are two sites under the same company, but we need to restrict employee data so that HR personnel from each site can only access information related to their specific location.By the way, we’re on IFS10 IEE. Thanks in advance

I have created a custom page which i need to view it from the navigator like the other pages. currently i can access it the solution manager under Custom pages. How do i access it to the navigator such that  a user can access from their permission sets easily.

Hi, Does anyone have experience with cleaning up Project Snapshot data in IFS Apps 8? I reviewed IFS Cleanup routines but did not come across anything covering the project_snapshot_data_tab. There is a Cleanup_Snapshot_Data.Cleanup_Snapshot_Data procedure but trying to figure out how it gets called in the Application instead of executing it manually. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,In IFS MWO Service 10. Our technicians can see the field “Long description” that is generated on WT from the PM actions “Work description”. However, the field “Job description”, that is generated on PM action (via work template) and connected WT is not displayed in MWO.How do we achieve this?Thank you. 

How can I disable the Create Employee Connection for a Resource Configuration? (Screenshot from 24R1-SU1)

Hi All , Currently we are facing issue with our IFS cloud environment after upgrade as 24R1. Work task  Screen from Request management  is not reflecting any task on it and even if we create a new task it doesn’t shows on Request Work Tasks screen. Moreover, if we try to schedule the task in Dispatch console it says IFSAPP doesn’t have access to Work Task .  Can anyone help on this please. Regards,Nandani

Hello Ifs communityI have created migration job to load data in Part Based tab for sales price list page.Lines are inserted but when i want to deleted or updated it i get this errorAnd when i try to modify one column of this line insert through migration job i had this error message :but I have no problem deleting or modifying manually created lines. IFSAPP10 UPD9 - We have an issue where when completing an operation that Receives into Inventory we can’t enter 2 different locations.Step one - approve Op and receive half of inventory to a location.  Have unclicked Close Operation.  Leave Report Time checked. Step two - approve op and receive rest of inventory to a new location.  OK button will not become active.  If I unclick Report Time OK is now active but I will receive a cost variance.Any ideas how to do this?  

In the Cloud version of MWO Maintenance, is it possible to allow users to create purchase requisitions or purchase orders that are not connected to a work task or work order? For example, when a field services technicians wants to order parts to replenish their stock.

Hi Experts,Like most of you had asked before, we also have a requirement to enable/disable certain fields for users in certain projections in APP10 Aurena. We need to hide Cost and Pricing related fields from Inventory Part in Stock, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Order and Work Orders for a group of users.I have found many Community discussions on the similar requirement, with no promising outcome.Hiding from Column chooser is not helping us. Hide a standard column using page designer - IFS Cloud | IFS Community - this only hides the columns similar to column chooser, so the user can add it themselves. User shouldn’t be deprived from the Column chooser, as Aurena capabilities are valued by users. Creating new custom views - unnecessary complexity  Deleting the elements from Page designer for a new context- Possible to hide fields in Aurena? | IFS Community - we are worried about the implications on this. Could it result in unnecessary client validation issues?Any other suggestions?Al

As per the current setup, when there is a part demand added in the system, the MRP calculates back from the requirement date and the purchase lead time for the part, and creates the purchase requisition on this day. While this is regular practice, we need to be able to add an “offset” so that the MRP creates those requisitions earlier, and the parts can be delivered earlier for the relevant execution teams to have time to evaluate readiness and prepare accordingly. Is there a field where such an offset can be added across all parts?We rather not change the individual lead times since this would muddy the data hygiene and not align with actual supplier lead times. Not to mention the subsequent requirement to continue butchering future parts’ lead times.

Community, from below screenshot, you can see RMB funciton on supplier invoice line, Receive is not enabled, wondering why the problem is that? PO 10141882 is in Released status. Thank you. 

We're using IFS Apps 9, and I need to create a Quick Report (SQL STATEMENT) to retrieve details about material variance, specifically identifying the purchase order lines from which it originated, within the GL Voucher row analysis.Below are the steps I followed: RMB > View Voucher Source - Got the PO number RMB from that screen > Matched Receipts  How can I match the GL Voucher Analysis lines to the corresponding Matched Receipt lines?Any help is appreciated.
