Hi All, I’ve been looking at a scenario where Master Scheduling is being used in conjunction with Order Gap time, but I’m struggling to understand the logic of how MPS is generated.  I’ve set up a simple example in my test environment (24R1) to demonstrate: Max Lot size = 10Order Gap Time = 1 (just to simplify - in reality this would be different hence why rate by period hasn’t be set up)Test 1 - Works as I would expect - the MPS generation stops at the PTF, so the system cannot keep the Projected balance positive and an Action Message is generated. Test 2 - However, if I split the forecast into 2 overlapping periods, the Order Gap time rule is ignored and multiple MPS/SORs are generated on the same day and the project balance is now always at 0 or above.If I add a large forecast at the PTF, I get a strange pattern, I think where each demand entry (forecast) is searching back for a free day, hitting the PTF and creating one SOR for the max lot size. Hi Team,Have a client requirement for creating Project Forecast/Budget on an Annual Basis but do not find any option in Project Forecast window where I can set up the Accounting Period Start Date & Accounting Period End Date for the specific Project Forecast/Budget which will indicate this Project Forecast/Budget for the specific accounting year. Request you to please let me know if this can be possible or do we need to go for CRIM?Do we have a workaround for this?   Best Regards,Rakesh

Hi All, I updated SSL certificate as the old one expired. When I check from the management server, it shows the correct SSL certificate.When I check from my laptop it shows the old certificate. NOTE: I am using correct IFS binary version I tried below,Recreated and reinstalled middle tier. Hi,I uploaded a file using the "Create Documents" window. After the file was uploaded, its status in the Document Revision window showed as "Checked In." When I clicked the "Edit Document" button, the file status changed to "Checked Out," and the document was downloaded to my local computer. The downloaded file is named "DocMan_Test (XXXX - 1003517 - 1 - A1) - 1 (1).PDF," with the file extension in uppercase. I previously used the POS environment and uninstalled it using the PSO installer. After that, I uninstalled the IIS and reinstalled the PSO. It installed without error. All,A steel plate can be stamped to produce 25 large disks and 16 small disks at the same time.  Assume part number of large disk is FGA, small disk is FGB, steel plate is ROW001. How should I put in the BOM to system?

We have a scenario where a number of new products need to be imported to the Product Center.We have the the ‘Product line’ we want associated to these products already configured in the Product Lines module.We have verified the required Field ID in the ‘product_maint’ import file matches the file field in the Product line module. The import completes successfully with no errors but in all instances, the Product line field in the Product center is not populating as expected. Any idea what we are doing incorrectly?

Hi,We are in the middle of IFS 9 to Cloud upgrade and testing to make sure our Migration Jobs still work in IFS Cloud.We have a migration job in Apps 9 to migrate Supplier data to related screens and tabs. This job isn’t working in Cloud and throwing this error:Reliability_Status and Reliability_Status_Db are new columns added to Supplier → Address screen | Document Tax Information tab in Cloud, so we went ahead added both columns to our migration job and set default values. However, the issue persists.Wondering whether anyone has seen the same issue migrating Supplier data into Cloud before?

In 24R1, we seem to loose the ability to create the service request and service quotation on a MWO for the Old  Generation Service Solution.I can’t find on a release note that this was intentional. Can anyone confirm whether this is a bug or whether this functionality is now fully removed ?

I have a user where we have issues installing Astea browser from both live and UAT-environment on the same PC. This is a user that does a lot of testing - and we need to use the Astea Browser for Dispatch Console.When trying to install Astea Browser from UAT (in Edge), we got the error that it is already installed. Checking in Installed programs, only one instance of Astea Browser is installed (pointitng to the live environment). I uninstall this, and sucessfully install the browser from the UAT environment. But when I try to install the browser from the live environment I get the following (it’s a mix of live (astea.culligan) and UAT (asteauat.culligan) referencesHow do we clean up the PC so we install both live and UAT browser on the same PC?

Work Types per Mx Event Type What does this do in MRO?Just a convenient way to see the type of event in a maintenance order? 

One of our users has managed to corrupt a filter they use for Object IDs.This is because they have saved a “List of Values” filter for that drop down and that is being applied/trying to be applied.However, since we’ve done an update to the evironment that filter no longer works.This prevents them from creating Work Orders. As soon as they click the “Object ID” field, it tries to run the filter, and an error occurs. Any idea how we can clear that filter that’s against his profile?

Hi All,I'm looking for the possibility for the application to pick a next invoice number defined if an invoice number is not defined in the external invoice. I tried defining an invoice number series for the External supplier and customer invoices and the system doesn’t accept the upload file when there is automatic numbering.Does anyone know how I can define a detail function on external file template or any other alternative to achieve this? Best Regards,Dharshan.

We are on 23R1 and we currently use the “Connect to Opportunity” functionality on the Business Activity. We are trying to figure out if there is a way to disconnect an activity from an opportunity in the case where it may have been connected to the wrong opportunity. We can’t seem to find any way in the web ui or in the odata API to disconnect. Is it possible?
