Hi,One of my customer, with his partner, uses Visual Studio 2013 for their developments in their Azure cloud environments.They will have to upgrade to TLS1.2 because the previous versions will soon no longer be supported, but they have read that there are compatibility problems between TLS1.2 and VS2013.Does it mean they won’t be able to develop anymore once this change is done ?Is there a way to make VS2013 compatible ?Thank youFabrice 

Hi,I have an invoice of USD 250PO and Receipt amount is USD 190I changed the gross amount to 250 in the manual supplier window and added the posting line of Debit USD 250 → Invoice went to Posted Auth state even though this is above the given tolerance of 1.00 USD. Please advise how can I add an additional authorization / why I don’t get any warning to control postings above the tolerance level. Many Thanks,LK

Sooo - as part of a standardization project we are running I have been asked if it is possible to change contract type on existing contracts. I know it is not possible to change thru the GUI on existing contracts, but I have been testing a bit doing it in the database. And so far all looks fine - the contract type itself does not seem to drive any additional data. Are there any known blockers or horro stories related to doing this? 

Hi Community,I am trying to set up the Office Add-In feature in IFS Document Management. I managed to Install and set it up. But I am facing an issue here.I have set up my setting as below.  In here I am using below email and I am trying to attach only the attachments. Note that I have a signature and it contains few images. When I try only to add the attachments, Create document from Microsoft office opens up with 7 attached files. I think its picking the images from the mail body as well.  Is there anything that I can do to avoid this. Even I can select which documents needs to be uploaded it still picking the mail body images. Is this intended? Anything that I can do to avoid this please? Thanks,Chamath

Hello experts, I want to set the visibility of a command group according to the state of the record shown. I have tried this expression.   It works fine. So the button is visible only for the records which doesn’t have the “Closed” state. However, when I try to add more than one states to this, the condition doesn’t work at all. So it is showing even for records with  “Closed” state.   Any advices/ tips are welcome.  PS: I referred Condition Syntax - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud documentation.  Cloud version is 23R2 Thank You in advance, 

Hello,My question concerns the finance migration to the IFS cloud version.I have a question regarding this process.We have the client's opening balance as of 31.12, and we are planning to migrate elements such as invoices, customers, suppliers, taxes, using external vouchers.However, I am wondering about the general ledger—how can we migrate the remaining elements from the general ledger? Should I request a full general ledger and import it as an external voucher to reach the balance as of 30.09?Thank you for your help. Best regards,

We have some customers where we want to consolidate the service orders for some customers (to be invoiced weekly or monthly - and not as part of our daily order batch). But even if we flag that for the customer that service orders is to be consolidated, and when the orders are resolved they get flagged as invoice later with consolidation, they will still be invoiced when we run Customers Orders Billing Batch. Is there a setting somewhere I am missing?

Dear community,When a Control Plan is associated with a purchase order receipt, we do not know how to add specific data points like we can do on shop order for situations like one-off testing that we do not want in the standard Control Plan (IFS Cloud 23.2.9)In addition to this, is there a way to add tools in the Purchase order Control Plan > Tools tab ?We would like to connect a new Tool to the purchase order-specific data point, but there is no method available. 

Please Help… I am currently trying to schedule resources that work a rotating shift where they work 2 days from 6am to 6pm and then 2 nights from 6pm to 6am then 4 days off. My current issue is the night shifts are not working they way they should as they insert a break without me entering a break during the resources working time at night. I have tried everything that I know of to try to fix this issue with no luck. Attached are some pictures of the dispatch console and the breaks that appear on a night shift. I will also attach my resource shift pattern template to explain how my setup is working. I have gone through and generated schedules and capacities more times than I can count every time I made an adjustment. This is the dispatch console view, the blue breaks are the issue that i keep having, the available time should actually show from 6pm to 6am the next day. This is my current resource shift pattern template setup. IFS seems to get confused about the 6pm start to 6am finish

24.1.3.I have a manufacturing tool enabled for control plan with three valid calibrated tool instances.In an Analysis Result for a data point that is connected to this tool ID, in the Enter and View Results dialog I am not able to select a tool instance in the dropdown list.In the Analysis Result page, though, using the ‘Select Tool’ command for the data point I am able to select a tool instance in the dropdown list.Could this be a bug?

24.1.3 and reported by customer in their 23R2.In the page Shop Order Operations, there used to be a command ‘Scheduling’ which would allow you to either Sequence Operations or Schedule Shop Orders. This command is no longer present in this page.I can sequence, though, in the page Visual Shop Order Operations Planning.Why is this command no longer available here? 

Dear IFS Community,I’m currently working on setting up and configuring a Demand Plan Server in a newly created IFS Applications 10 environment that has not previously used a Demand Plan Server.So far, I’ve installed both the server and client, but I’m encountering the following issues:1. When executing `POST_Demand_DemandServerUser.sql`, I receive an error message.2. The Demand Plan Server displays the error: "Server needs at least one flow. Fatal Error during load from Oracle." I have followed the online documentation(https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/Foundation1/020_installation/400_installation_options/130_add-on_cmp/demand/), but I’m unable to successfully connect the server to the application. As this is new territory for me, I’m seeking your expertise and guidance to resolve these issues.Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated!Thank you and Best regards.

This error occurs regardless of what fields I use in the request’s body, as long as the body is valid. Finding the corresponding page in IFS Cloud and manually updating it still works. Doing so through applications like Postman gets a similar error as above. This request worked for 2+ years with no error befor

Quite new to the Data Migration Tool in IFS I try doing my first Excel migration job using two LU’s. The purpose of the job is to update the SUPPLIER.SUPP_GRP column. As an additional information we will need the ASSOCIATION_NO from the SUPPLIER_INFO_GENEREAL LU but only SUPP_GRP needs to be updateable. I have configured the job as follows: In the method list tab I added the two LU’s:   In the rules tab I added a FETCHCONDITION that seems to work:   supplier_info_general.supplier_id = supplier.vendor_no  And finally I configured the source mapping tab as follows:   Running the job in Excel the Load Data procedure works as expected. One row for each supplier and all field showing the correct existing value. But then edit the SUPP_GRP value on a supplier and the run the Validate procedure I got an “Object does not exists” error in the Result Column. Back to the migration job trying edit and save some information on the SUPPLIER_INFO_GENERAL row in the method list I got the following erro

Their requirement is slightly different so I would like to get some insight about the best way to implement this. They have projects all over Australia and usually a construction worker will report time using only the project activity and number of hours worked. (means they don’t use specific activities and report codes). Hello, After having read about what’s new in Financials 23R1, I came across some very interesting pre-build Power BI reports for Income statement and Balance Sheet. We have Analysis Models deployed in our environment. I’ve looked into the git repo for 23R1 (biserv and pbies components) and I can’t find any .pbix files.Any hint on where the .pbix files could be found would be greatly appreciated.@Bob Corrigan maybe?   

We have a request to scrap a large number of parts with the information being provided via an Excel file.  I have been trying to call the inventory_part_in_stock_api scrap_part procedure after first using the find_part procedure. When calling find_part I get the results I expect.  However, using the same information to try to call scrap_part always returns a part in stock does not exist.  This is the exact error message. Could someone guide me on where to find the information necessary to properly call this API procedure? Thank you in advance!

How do I cancel a Customer Order in IFS App 10? 

This might be a simple question,But while working on a work order in MWO on a phone, should the user also see the same data entered on his MWO on his windows app?  Should he see the same Work Orders in both apps?I did not think they sync’d back and forth like that, but I have a user asking about this and I am not sure of the answer.
