Please advice whenever we are raising a quick absence is there any chance of keeping the status as Authorized? 

We are trying to better understand when/how these three fields (currency, customer group, and primary price book) on a SITE come into play with pricing on orders.  We do not allow both customer/site records in our database so each customer center record is either a CUSTOMER or SITE. We strictly manage these three fields on CUSTOMERS, but have found that the data on SITES is not aligned/consistent.  We are tyring to determine which fields we should populate and clean up.

We're currently in the process of transitioning from APPS10 to IFS Cloud and are facing a significant challenge with migrating document attachments.In our APPS10 environment, we used a shared repository for storing documents. However, with the shift to IFS Cloud, we've encountered an issue as shared repositories are not supported in the cloud environment. While we have set up a database repository in IFS Cloud for new document attachments, which is working fine, we’re blocked when it comes to migrating the existing documents from APPS10.We need to ensure that all our existing document attachments in APPS10 can be brought over to IFS Cloud and remain accessible within the application.I would greatly appreciate any insights or best practices on how to migrate these documents from a shared repository in APPS10 to a database repository in IFS Cloud. Has anyone else faced a similar issue, and if so, how did you resolve it?

Issue Description: Shop Floor Workbench "Identify"Environment version: IFS Cloud 23R1Details:Test Plan>> Navigate to Shop Floor Workbench window>> Type in the number 1 into the Employee box in the Identification Popup>> We would like to get rid of the List of Values that come up as people type in their badge number into the Employee Field. Here as 1002 - ABCD, 1004 - PQRS Here, concern is that In the Shop Floor Workbench screen, when an employee goes to Identify, as they type in their badge number, a list of values populates with other employees that have the same beginning numbers. We want to eliminate that list of values completely.If anyone don't want any other employee numbers or names to come up as they type. Is this possible? Please see the attached screenshots for reference. They don't want employees to be able to log into the Shop Floor Workbench as other employees.

Hello,We are about to begin an upgrade project from IFS9 to IFS Cloud. Originally, the project was scheduled to start in January, but it was delayed due to planning on the customer's end. During January, we had already set the upgrade build home to version 23.2.5.With the release of 24R1, we are considering performing a release update on the lifecycle portal and recreating a new build home for the upgrade from IFS9. However, we are concerned about whether this update will impact the upgrade scripts that are currently set in the 23.2.5 build home.Has anyone encountered a similar situation, and could you provide advice on the best steps forward?Thank you,Hardik

Hi,Has anyone ever come across an issue with the Active Directory Integration where the sync process continuously errors with the below message:“ORA-20105: OracleAccount. REUSED_PASSWORD_ERR. The password can not be reused.”Each time the sync runs, it creates/sync just one account but does not grant the end-user role. Instead, the sync process just ends with the above error. If we run it again, it creates a different new account but with the same issue.We have the option ticked to set the password to be the same as the username. It is throwing the error, both when it tries to create a new account, as well as when it is trying to synchronise an existing account.

Hi, I have setting on the ‘invoice’ the currency = ‘PLN’ for supplier 100045 : but when I add the charge line on the other supplier (ID=102679), but with invoicing supplier = 100045  I still don’t have correct currency.It should be ‘PLN’, but is ‘USD’ ( like base supplier = 102679).   How can I change the currency in charge line ?In result, I need that correct charge line will automaticly set in PO.

Hi!Why is it that if you want to send document links of Document Type = View, you can only select the Latest Revision option? Seems like I’m missing something here, but isn’t the view file also conntected to the document revision on the same terms as the original?/ Kenneth

 When the user clicks on Aurena no page is displayed and the URL now has the suffix #aurena.casual# On clicking on IFS Enterprise Explorer link again no login page and the URL now shows the suffix #rwc.client.path# Click on IFS Aurena B2B and nothing happens other than the URL now shows the suffix #aurena.b2b# If we add admin after the URL all the 3 options above work. Any ideas on why and how to resolve this issue?

Hello:I am re-introducing a topic that has been brought up before in both Workplace and here in the Community, but I have yet to see any input from anyone in Product Development with a solution or guidance.The issue is creating Lobby Navigation URL’s to “tree-enabled” screens like Equipment Object Navigator, Project Navigator, Sales Rule For Part, etc.  When navigating to these screens manually, the URL in the browser looks something like:https://<server_url>/main/ifsapplications/web/page/SalesRule/Form;$filter=<expression>;treeviewrec=<value>;treeview=Tree;treeclient=SalesRule;treenodeid=<value>;path=<value>;record=<value>;searchfilter=<expression>However, no combination of this URL type will work as a Lobby Navigation URL - you will just get framework-related errors.Looking through the 21R2 Lobby Navigation Guide, there are mentions of a “tree” URL type, similar to “page” and “assistant”, but there are no examples in the documentation that sh

HIDuring a customisation our customer has encounter a crash during the publicaiton to “public” of the customization. He has been obliged to kill the astea browser process.Now when he wants to redo is customization, when he save the customization  the following message is displayed “Another save transaction currently executing in customizationmanager module” and he is blocked. Does the functionality exist that would allow us to remove all DOP netted demand against part numbers?  We are about to undertake our stock take and always experience a problem where we are unable to adjust the inventory quantity if there are reservation quantities greater than the counted quantity.  I want to be able to remove all DOP netted demand prior to us counting.

When you receive a shop order, what is the calculation behind the scenes regarding check on the amount of material issued. I currently have the following scenario: Shop Order Lot Size = 10Material AQty per Assembly = 1Qty Req Excl Planned Scrap = 10Scrap Factor = 20%Qty Required = 13Qty Issued = 13 Despite the lot size being 10, I can over-report to 13. However, let’s say we increase the lot size to 11. I now have: Shop Order Lot Size = 11Material AQty per Assembly = 1Qty Req Excl Planned Scrap = 13Scrap Factor = 20%Qty Required = 14Qty Issued = 13 For some reason in this scenario, I can only report upto 10pcs. Reporting any more results in error message ‘Not enough components issued to receive this quantity’. Assuming I’m missing something, but I cannot see how I can report 13 in the first instance, but then only 10 in the second, despite the Qty per Assembly and Qty Issued not changing?

Hi All,  I am planning a work order on an equipment object with an associated manufacturing work order.  My WO has an Obstructive Operation status and I am warned that the Work Task may interfere with planned Shop Orders.  I can see that the correct work centre is listed in the prepare tab.  I have shop order operations planned for the same time as the planned dates in the Work Order.   I cannot seem to see the planned load on the Work Centre where it shows that a Work Order is planned to be executed.  Is anyone able to point me in the right direction as to what I may be missing?

Hello, Does anyone have a solution for how to set up a block that prevents a user from accidentally creating a counting report of all the system's inventory parts? If you run the "Create Count Report" wizard, no filters are pre-filled and you click OK immediately, a report is created on all inventory parts for you primary site. Thanks,Johan

Hello, We have a shop order with a main product and a by-product. A user is asking why the by-product does not appear as a supply on the part’s inventory part availability planning page.  Does or should IFS treat a by-product has a supply signal from a shop order? For context, the part that is the by-product is also part of the materials to be issued. Please see attached screenshots below. Any information or context would be appreciated.
