Is it feasible in Cloud to restrict the available choices from a dropdown?  For example, per below we only want “Shipment and Customer Order” to be the available choice.  We found it invaluable in Apps9 to prevent incorrect selection/setup.   (Actioned here in Apps9)

Dear experts,We are in the process to implement Project Budget (Forecast) functionality for one of our client who is in Project based manufacturing business.I understand that Project Budget functionality only controls Procurement related transactions against a pre-defined active budget, however, system is not checking Project budget for Purchase Order/Purchase Requisitions generating for outside operation on Shop Order releasing.Though, system properly updating Planned Committed Cost, Committed Cost for Shop Order but not updating Purchase Order related cost on project. Not sure whether I am missing some setup.@Marcel.Ausan  @Buddhika Kurera @matt.watters

Hello,Our DBA was running diagnostics on our production database server using sql-constanctcare and it identified the following db tables that would benefit from having the indexes identified below created.  Because these are PSO databases, I wanted to get confirmation that this would be a recommended action to take. Please advise.Tool Used:https://www.brentozar.com/sql-constantcare/USE [SchedulingSystem]; CREATE NONCLUSTERED INDEX [message_group_id] ON [dbo].[Message] ([message_group_id]);USE [ResourcePlanning]; CREATE NONCLUSTERED INDEX [organisation_id_dataset_id_ram_update_type_id] ON [dbo].[RAM_Update] ([organisation_id], [dataset_id], [ram_update_type_id]);USE [Scheduling]; CREATE NONCLUSTERED INDEX [organisation_id_dataset_id_delete_flag_activity_id_input_reference_internal_id] ON [dbo].[Activity_Custom_URL] ([organisation_id], [dataset_id], [delete_flag], [activity_id], [input_reference_internal_id]);USE [Scheduling]; CREATE NONCLUSTERED INDEX [organisation_id_dataset_id_delete_

Hello IFS SpecialistsOne of our project controllers tried to change the activity sequence in the demand line because he had initially created the project supply request in the wrong activity. The requisition is still in the planned state. So in my opinion, he should be able to change the activity in IFS for the requestion as shown [My testing doesn't recreate the error so far] but getting the shown error. He could use a workaround like deleting the requisition and proceed. But I am wondering why this way isn't working. The screenshot is from an IFS Ref environment [24.1.3]  Thanks,Asela

Hello,In our company  invoices dated January 2, 2025 were issued using the old numbering series (e.g., 2-024000614, 2024000622). Once we added the correct 2025 series, the numbering continued from the old sequence, causing the new invoices to start with numbers like 2025000623 (in the INVOICE_NO field of the INVOICE table). Is it possible to safely adjust the numbering in this situation? Would updating the INVOICE_NO field be a safe solution? How can I correct invoice series number?

Hi Experts,I wanted to setup contacts so that they appear in mobile client (under main menu ‘Contacts’). I am trying to figure out the behavior of application parameter CONTACT_LIST_TYPE which has 3 values (service organization, Company and Site). If I refer to help docs it says(for option ‘Service organization’) I should have a contact list in service organization, but I could not find such list in service organizations or in its delivery units? (can it be the access group? I tried but not). In this test I got few contacts synced, but cannot figure out a particular pattern (all my resources are in one resource group and that resource group is a primary resource group. All of them are connected to same service organization and same site)Then I check option ‘company’, I get some contacts synced (different to above test) to the device, but none of them register in company as contacts (not even in addresses). If I use option ‘Site’, I did not get any contacts synced. Can someone explain thi

Currently, in the Document Structure tree navigator, only the document title is shown.  Is there a way to change the label to also include the Document Number?  I have looked in the Page Designer but cannot find anything.  I know for the Document Folder navigator, you can set what is visible on the Document Defaults screen. Is there a similar setting somewhere else where we can set for the Document Structure Navigator?

Is there a way to get customer invoices into the PostedAuth status without printing?  One of our sites uploads invoices to a customer portal, so there is no need for the printed invoice.  We currently have the printing pointed to an invalid printer, but this just creates a ton of errors in background jobs.Apps 10 UPD9

Adjust tax setup on address and/or object level. This is a work process that has been done numerous times for this customer/address and for other customers/addresses but we haven’t seen this error before."Identical tax codes are not allowed. Adjust tax setup on address and/or object level."Thank you,Joann121212
