Typically, the basic data tracker is an output from a tool we use in consulting called scope tool.  When planning a scope of work (project) for a client we typically identify what is in scope, the phases and other information and enter this into the scope tool. One output after doing this is a relatively customized Basic Data tracker - where it’s been fine-tuned based on the selected scope / what is included or excluded.  

Any such basic data listing is typically streamlined for a given client. 

IMO, you should / could request such listing from the project team doing the IFS side. If they don’t have it, they can get it either generic or specific to your needs. 

Hypothetically, if you get one from another client, it may be missing data you need.  Or almost as bad, it will list basic data for something you will not use (out of scope).  In that case, the team may work things that don’t need to work on.  IMO, you always want a good consultant who knows your solution / needs to participate via a review / fine tuning of what your team really needs to work on.   One of the most common issues on a project is “time” working on what you need to work on and not working on things that don’t add value. Unless you've done this many times - it’s hard to know the difference.
