Consider PO Max Authorized Amount in Change Order Authorization

There is a purchase order authorization rule with two steps Step 01- Authorizer A with a limit of 500Step 02- Authorizer B with a limit of 1000Expected resultsWhen a purchase order is created for a amount of 300 only Step 01 will be valid for the original authorization.- Works fineNo authorization within the order amount in change order - - Works fineA change order will be created and the amount will be changed to 700 , Here I need both the steps A and B to be included for authorization of the change order.- Does not work as expected. When I use the below set up on company level , it does not pick any authorization for the change order when the amount is changed to 700.If I do not use this tick it will just pick the step 01 considering the delta amounts.Can anyone explain how to use this set up properly to achieve the expected results? Dear Community, How can we change the settings so that in the event of any modification to the price of the purchase order, approvals must be taken again, because at the present time on the existing options, the price on the order may be successfully modified with the same old approvals.the screenshot below shows the current setup. Question on Calculate Planning Data

Hi Team,I’m testing “Calculate Planning Data “ function to auto populate planning data. Followings are my setup:1.Rather connecting commodity group 2 inventory part and statistical period through it , I have updated “Pred Year Cons Qty” on the inventory part2.Then I have set planning method C on inventory part3.I have enabled the safety stock, Order Point and lot size checkboxes for auto update.4.I have updated the inv interest, Ordering cost and service rate with values.After running “Calculate Planning Data “ job ( background job is ready ), system still not update any of those values.What could be I'm missing here? I have created few demands ( customer orders ) for current period as well.

Receipt - Split of quantity

Hello,the Inventory Part is created/connected for Site B2251in PO we bought 40l but this qty results from gathering all our demands of all sites (here 15l for site B2251 + 25l for site B2252)we didn't want to create two PRs for two different Sites because then we should create two POs while we want optimize our number of POs and our costs and we have better price depending on the qty (the more you buy the less you pay).after delivery we made receipt according to the PO to Site B2251.now, we would like to split qty of 40l to sites B2251 and B2252 - to clarify: on stock B2251 we have 40l and 25l we would like to transfer/relocate/issue to stock B2252.is it possible to do that in IFS, if so, what we should do. We are currently using the demand planner in IFS but are starting to reach its limitations. As a result, we're considering implementing a dedicated third-party forecasting and planning tool. Ideally, we need a solution that seamlessly (or near enough) integrates with IFS and supports planning across 18 months in weekly, monthly, and quarterly buckets. It should also include all the functions found in the current demand planner, such as promotions etc.Additionally, we are looking for optional advanced features, including:Seasonality adjustments and trend analysis. Capacity planning based on demand forecasts. Integration of supply chain constraints, such as lead times and inventory management. Scenario planning for changes in material costs or market demand fluctuations. The ability to run simulations for new product introductions or adjustments to production schedules.Do any of you have a similar setup, and what tools would you recommend?

Supplier with multiple bank accounts

Hi Team,We have set up a supplier with 2 EFT payment methodEFT 1(address id 1) using one bank accountEFT 2 (address id 2) using 2nd bank account.When we save the Eft method system is forcing to set up one as default payment method, and it is using the default payment bank details in the payment proposal.We want to know if there is a way, we don’t tick the EFT default option and have the option to choose the bank account we like to use.Thanks in advanceSneha

Min/Max & Multiple Lot Sizes

Hi Folks We are using APPS 10 and looking at the various Lot Size options within IFS, when planning MRP requirements does the system start with the Min Lot size them move to Max then multiple or does one of these options take priority over the rest? (does one supersede the other)Should the Max and Multiple be the same value?Trying to figure out of there is some logic flow to these values if all three are filled in. Min Lot Size: The value in this field indicates that the lot size for this part will be at least equal to the quantity specified. If the value is 0 (zero), the lot size will not be calculated. Max Lot Size: The maximum lot size defines the maximum size of lots generated by material requirements planning (MRP). Multiple Lot Size: A value in this field indicates that MRP will round up net requirements to a multiple of this value when calculating the receipts. Shop orders created from shop order requisitions will use multiple lot size values defined here.

Cost per Lot batch with serial tracking "not in inventory" not possible

The combination of Inventory Part Cost Level by Cost per Lot batch with serial tracking "not in stock" is not permitted and is displayed with an error message in the dialogue. Saving is not possible.We do not understand the reason for this restriction and would like to ask whether this was also required in other projects and how it was handled.Thx and best regards

Hi All, We have two customer groups (e.g., Group A and Group B), each with one or more customers assigned to them.When creating an order for Group A using a sales part, is it possible to apply a price break to the group of customers?For example, the price group could be as follows:Min Qty: 1000, Price: $20Min Qty: 2000, Price: $15Min Qty: 3000, Price: $14In this case, I may have 2 orders for Group A (the orders would be for 2 customers), and the total ordered quantity is 2500 units. PaceJet Background Job Issue Post-Upgrade

Hello IFS Community, We’ve encountered an issue in our environments that we wanted to raise here to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. After each release update, we’ve noticed a particular background job related to PaceJet becoming active. The database tasks is FRTINT Process Shipments at Pacejet. This job runs once every minute. To manage this, we’ve been turning it off manually, but it seems like a more sustainable solution would be for this job to remain off by default in the upgrade scripts unless explicitly required. We first observed this behavior after accepting 23R1, but it has presented after 23R2 and 241. Has anyone else come across this issue? If so, how have you handled it, and have you been able to work with IFS to implement a more permanent resolution? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance,

Error when adding lines that are connected to a Customer Agreement but not a Sales Price List

Issue: We are receiving an error when saving a new line on a Customer Order that is pulling the price from a Customer Agreement if there is not a Sales Price List also connected to the Customer for that part. We would expect to be able to add and save the line since the price is valid for the Customer Agreement.We previously were able to enter a new line for a part that is on a Customer Agreement even if the part is not on a Price List that is connected to that Customer. This is generated in the clients environment

Fair Share - Customer Order Line Reservations

Hello,I am looking to understand the logic of automatic reservations for customer orders. I would assume that the lines that are due the earliest would be reserved first, and that would flow until there is no more available inventory. Reserve from specific location

We have a problem in IFS APPS 10. When a customer order is created on IFS and the order type is “XPR”, IFS will issue the part from the last location used and not its default locationI think this is because the option below is set to “All locations” and not “Only specified location”.If I change it to “Only specified location” does that mean it will only use the default location?Or do I have to set something else?Thanks

Supplier for Purchase Part/Description updates not propagating to PO

We are recently moved to Cloud from Apps9 and have an issue where if we make a change to a Supplier Part or Description on a Supplier for Purchase Part record, these changes are not reflected in the PO lines of any open POs we have for said part. New PO lines added after the change, pick up the correct/updated part/description Does anyone know if this is ‘to be expected’, a bug, a workflow/process we’re missing, a new action required in Cloud vs Apps9?
