If an MS1 part has forecast from Demand Planner within the Planning Time Fence, should a delivered Customer Order consume the forecasted amount within the PTF?  Should the forecast from Demand Planner even be in the Planning Time Fence?

How would forward consumption affect this item?

Are there recommended settings for the forecast to be consumed during PTF?

Please see the attached document for samples

Hi,

Just to show you how forward forecast consumption works.

I have a customer order line with due date the 3rd of April.

And since I have forward consumption it will try that. (First it always goes backward)

When I ship this part “out of the door” in the CO flow, I get below when I refresh the MS Level 1 part page:

When we deliver the CO Line, forecast gets reduced and also consumed forecast gets recalculated online.

Next I will recalculate MS for this part.

Customer order demand is gone.

The 0 forecast line the 10th of April is gone.

I think Apps 10 works the same. We have done some improvements in Cloud when delivering the CO line, but I think this setup should work the same way.

Cheers,

Mats
