WMS Receive Outbound Delivery Confirmation in IFS Cloud

Hi All,How do we receive the outbound delivery confirmation from WMS now in IFS Cloud?In APPS10, we had been using WMSINT integrations for this functionality but since we won't be having this in the Cloud version, what are the alternatives in place?How do we receive info from WMS in Cloud?Do we have projections which can be used as replacements to achieve this? Int Purch Trans Issue

Anyone have an idea on why this Int Purch Trans order isn’t flowing though completely? Both sites are setup as internal customers/suppliers. Other orders have flowed through these sites without issue. We’re currently on 24.2.6.

Functionality of Customer Calendars and Backorder Options in Apps with EDI ORDER Messages

We are working with EDI Orders and also intercompany MHS orders.In our customer settings, we have customer calendars, which are useful to enter Dates on which Customers will receive goods (as example, customer want to receive only on Monday goods, than the system will calculate the possible delivery date only on mondays.)It seems, that this function does not work, if the customer order is create from an EDI ORDER Message. Is that a bug, or depends it on the different way of order creation by EDI functionality? Same issue for Backorder Options, they will also ignored for EDI Orders.Is there any way to solve this problem?Thanks for your feedback.Andre

The internal PO can be receipted before the internal CO is delivered

Hi All, Imagine the following data setup and scenario. Demand Site - Site ASupply Site - Site BInternal PO X is created on Site A and sent through to Site B where the internal CO Y is created and processed. The pegging is correctly shown. However, even before Y is delivered, PO X on Site A is available in Register Arrival on Site A and can be receipted while CO Y is in a status prior to Delivered. The expectation is that PO X should only be able to be receipted once CO Y is processed through to Delivered. Am I missing a setting here or does IFS have a different rationale behind this? Load Sequence missing on the load consolidated shipment and WADACO

IFS Cloud has the option to define the load sequence in the Consolidated shipment. The customer’s requirement is to set the sequence in such a way, that the goods which are delivered last to be loaded first. Even though this is possible, I can see that the load sequence is missing on the “Load consolidated shipment” window. It is not available under “Handling Units to Load” or “Loaded Handling Units”. Further, even in the related WADACO Configuration it is missing and there’s no such related item to configure. If the load sequence is added to the consolidated shipment, then it should definitely be available on the “Load consolidated shipment” and in WADACO. Because, if the load sequence is used, the warehouse worker who uses a scanner should know which shipment to be loaded first. Otherwise, there’s no use of having it just in the consolidated shipment. Is this the standard design or is there any other way to achieve this?

FIELD COST AT CUSTOMER ORDER LINE HAS INCORRECT VALUE

Version used: IFS Apps 10 Update 9 I noticed that upon creation of a line in Customer Order, system fetches the cost of that part from inventory part in stock and stores in ‘Cost’ field at CO line. But, system doesn’t considers exchange rate if the currency in CO is different from the currency in which item’s cost is stored in inventory. E.g., If part cost in inventory is 100 BRL and customer order currency is USD, system is populating ‘Cost’ field at CO line with 100 value and does not apply exchange rate conversion. How to fix this ?#IFSRnD

Dealing with parts substitution

Morning Experts, We must standardize some of our parts. So, in some cases, we have 1-1 (one part become another part), but we have cases of 2-1, 3-1 and event 4-1. Knowing the supersede function takes work just 1-1, here yy problems:How can we substitute the part? Moving Company Rental Assets to a Site on another Company

Hi. Is there any known way to “move” a Company Owned Rental Asset that is in stock on a Site within one Company to a Site on a different Company in IFS ?Our customer has discounted a simple Move Inventory Part, a Transport Task, and a Shipment Order which all are not allowed for ownership of a rental asset. (“Transaction Code COMPM-OUT not allowed for Company Rental Assets” is the error on the transport task). We understand the theory around controlling as asset moving across companies, but is there any way this can be done out-with renting the asset to the other company using Internal Purchase Orders and Customer Orders ?Thanks.

Repalce alternative structure and routing

I want to replace alternative structure and routing that is, the alternative * becomes in alternative 1 and alternative 1 becomes alternative *. For example:In the sitation 1 (S1), alternative * S1 = alternative * S1 alternative 1 S1 = alternative 1 S1 In the sitation 2 (S2), alternative * S2 = alternative 1 S1 alternative 1 S2 = alternative * S1I tried differents methods:Create a new revision and copy alternative 1 S1 like alternative * S2 and alternative * S1 like alternative 1 S2 Create alternatives in revisión 1 and choose manually revisión 1 and alternaitve 1 when the shop order is creating. Update masive the alternative of shop order.These methods are not valid for clients. Are there another methods to replace alternative?Thanks

Is there any way to define a structure and routine other than * in an article? An example: The structure and routine of an article whose name is 1 is changed. But when creating the OF, the system defaults to *. Is there any way to choose the alternative structure and path 1?Thank you.

Hello, we get this error on certain shipments and unsure how to decipher it. the quantites are then picked but the handling unit is dropped ( it remains in shipment inventory but no longer on that specific shipment). Any insightwill be appreciated.

Refill Putaway considering capacity

I am attempting to use refill putaway to help replenish set locations from other storage zones. In this example, I would like to achieve the following:2 storage zones - one is classes as the ‘picking’ face (which is all ground level locations), the second is bulk storage (all locations above ground level). Use the refill job to replenish the picking storage zones from the bulk storage zonesCurrently I have defined the following:2x Storage zones which represent the ground level locations and upper levels in the warehouse Added records in putaway basic, ranking the zones ( priority: 1 = pick, 2 = bulk) Set up inventory part record to refill from putaway zones Defined putaway zones on inventory part (priority: 1 = pick, 2 = bulk)This set up works fine and when I run the refill all putaway zones task, a transport task is created to move the part from the bulk storage zone to the pick storage zone. However, IFS will treat this as if there is infinite capacity in the location. I do not want

How to consolidate multiple Transport Task Lines of same Part/Product/Article

Hello, running on IFSAPP10 Enterprise Explorer.I want to be able to consolidate Multiple Lines on a Transport Task into one, of the the same part no. So when the Transport Task is generated I want it to summarize all the QTY of one part no into one line, so that the worker in WaDaCo (Redaco) only has to handle the Part once, not 17 times in the example down below.The context is that these Parts are placed in a special environment for longer life-span (plants), and when there is something to pick from that environment - a Transport Task is created to move it into the normal environment for the normal e-com picking. So the picking for the actual Pick List and Customer Order is not made here in the transport task.How do I solve this? I still want to handle multiple parts and customer orders in the same transport task.

Shipping quantity greater than customer order quantity

Hello. We have an MTO business, and some of the materials for our manufacturing process must be blended in batches. We cannot always get the quantity of the blend to be exactly what the customer ordered, but the resulting output is usually taken by the customer. In order to ship, we have to manually update the customer order to match what we have produced.Is there a way in IFS to allow shipments to proceed without having to update the customer order. Also of note, we want to invoice based on quantity shipped regardless of original requested quantity.Thank you!Robin

How to handle partial delivery complaint in IFS Cloud?

Hi everyone,A customer ordered 5 pieces. We shipped and invoiced all 5, but the customer says they only received 4. We want to send the missing 1 piece again, free of charge.Do we need to create a credit invoice for the 1 piece?Or is it okay to just create a new customer order with price 0.00 and deliver the missing item?Also: how should we handle the inventory?Since only 4 were physically delivered, should we adjust the stock before sending the replacement? Fail to print all Barcode Labels

where does the 'Due at Dock' value come from

Does anyone know how to tell where the due at dock value come from on the Purchase order lines in cloud. in Apps 10 we could check the system information and see the SQL column, but would like to know how to get the same information (system info panel) in Cloud. thanks
