We are evaluating using 3 part numbers for our rebuilt parts process instead of using a Condition Code enabled single part: a part number for NEW, CORE and REBUILT. The part can only be rebuilt a finite number of times thus serialization is required.Parts received from a customer via an RMA as well as parts that are remanufactured in-house using a remanufacturing shop order trigger the automatic rename of the serial that was implemented with the introduction of the Serial Lifecycle Group functionality.But the majority of CORES are not rebuilt in-house but are sent out instead to a supplier on a normal Purchase Order as Supplied Material. When I try to receive the REBUILT part using the same serial number as the CORE the following error message is triggered:Does anybody know what issue types and receipt types are supported for the

When a Supplier has more than one address and we change this address in the "Supplier Document Address" field on the "Supplier" tab of the "Request For Quotation" screen, this document is not loaded into the Purchase Order (PO); the PO continues to retrieve the Supplier's default value.Is this a bug?

Hello, How can we automatically update the country of origin information for the proforma invoice? For the BatchSince 23R2, it's possible to enter the country of origin when a purchase order arrives, based on the field "Country of Origin" configured in the "Supplier for Purchase Part” view.With the following rule, Priority order for default Country of Origin:Manufacturers Country Country of Origin from Order Line (only no part lines) Country of Origin from Supplier per Part Country of Origin from Inventory Part But how do you enter this value for manufactured items ? Where should the information be configured ?Because in the case of distribution orders between two sites or companies, the information is not updated. A message informs us that it is impossible to update the batch. Except that we need this information without having to enter it each time we declare arrival.

Hello, we have a situation where we send material to a supplier and they provide us with a credit (i.e. no physical parts).  The process can take months and we want to know how much is at the supplier waiting for credit.  Ideally, we would have a purchase part (non-inventory) created on the purchase order line, be able to issue materials randomly.  Once the supplier has assessed the materials they determine the credit and report back to us.  So there is no correlation between the material sent and the amount of credit received.  While the material is at the supplier we would like to have the visibility of the material in our outside processing warehouse.  When the PO is received for credit, all the material issued to that line would be backflushed from the outside processing warehouse.We are on IFS Cloud 24R2Thanks in advance. 

Need some advise please We are using Rental Workbench to control external supplier hire. We created a Date Exception ID to not pay for bank holidays. This means transactions will not generate for those days. However some suppliers have charged us for these days, we have tried to create a manual event at standard 100% price factor on that day, however it records the manual event but will not create transactions for that missing date. I have tried removing the date exception ID and repeating the steps but this still does nothing. We now cannot match invoices because there is a cost of a single day missing, hoping there is an easy front end fix to this issue! 

Hi community!My customer is going to start using Internal trade between there companies A and B. Now er need to figure out how to fix the return of material as smooth as possible. Is there a nice setup or solution that anyone has for this issue? The standard process seems a bit “heavy”.  In this case company A takes material from Company B´s warehouse and sometimes the material is not consumed and returned. Can you somehow have a fast track where you just return the material and all the adminastrative work is handled automaically? Thanks for any input in this matter :) Best regardsEmma 

Using IFS Cloud version 25R1.We would like to have a custom action button on the Receive with Serials fly out window:We need to be able to assign a new internal serial number for a part that is coming in for repair and has never been assigned a Serial Number.It seems documentation is saying this flyout can’t be modified with form designer.  Any help would be appreciated.

In IFS Cloud, we set up the customer order delivery lead time per customer adress with the customer supply chain matrix.But, when using single occurence adress; this delivery lead time is not updated.So, is there a way to create a supply chain matrix per county and not per customer adress??In others words, is there a way to set up lead time on higher level than the customer??Thanks in advancePhilippe

A producing company assemble large units that are serial trackedThe unit is dis-assembled after finalized quality control and testing and stored in different locations and on different pallets. Challanges to be solvedKeep track of the completet unit as it is one serial no, when splitted in reality, to multiple locations The serial No cannot be splitted in inventory and placed system vice in different location, further more, no inventory movement kan be done per pallet. In shipment you cannot handle the pallets as you must have a qty in each pallet, in this case you have several pallets in reality but as it is one serial no, the qty can only be in one of the pallets. Hi,We are using APPS10 and would like to know whether it is possible to replicate a document text from the Customer Order header to the Shipment header, so that it can be printed on the Shipment Delivery Note.The customer has the setting “Replicate Doc Text” enabled. We have tested adding document text to the Customer Order header, but it does not appear on the Delivery Note. However, when we add the document text at the Customer Order line level, it is successfully replicated and printed at the Delivery Note line level.Is there a way to have the document text from the Customer Order header replicated to the Shipment header and printed on the Delivery Note?

Is it possible to automatically uncheck the 'Release for material Planning' checkbox by default while adding the Customer order lines?It is required because Purchase Requisition (demand) is generated automatically on Supply Site when CO header is in status Planned for the added line level when supply code is selected as “Int Purch Dir”. or Can we make a tick mark or check the “Release for Material Planning” checkbox after releasing the Customer order no matter which supply code is chosen.So kindly suggest?

HiI have set up internal trade between to sites within the same company, and this is running in our production database. We did a copy of PROD to TEST-environment late last year, but internal trade doesn not seem to work - the connectivity setup is the same, set to ON and the processes are running in Database processes, but the message that is created in the OUT-messagebox only gets status Released, not Accepted - as we get in PROD-environment. And the message is not transferred to IN-messagebox. So this is the purchase order which is sent and should create a customer order on the receiving site. Is there any other processes or queues or technical setup that could be set to OFF when doing a copy of the database like this?As i said - all connetivity setup and customer/supplier setup is correct as it is running in PROD.Best regardsSonja Berg

I can’t seem to get the capability check to consider excess supply (a purchase order) during its calculation. I have a [level 2] purchased component that is included within the critical path determined by the capability check. I then created a PO for this part to arrive in tomorrow. When I re-ran the capability check it does not considering this purchase order. It is using the lead time of the this purchase part, even though we have “excess supply” arriving tomorrow. I have tested using both Inventory Part settings DOP Netting = “Netting” and “Auto Netting”. Neither setting for my purchase component is correctly netting against the PO. I also tried applying these setting for all parts in the multi-level structure. The capability check still was not netting against the excess supply / PO. IFS documentation states the netting applies to both excess inventory and excess supply quantities. Does this hold true for DOP Netting and Capability Check Netting? Is there an

Hello everyone,I am encountering an issue with an inter-company subcontracting flow between two internal sites (Site 0175 and Site 0210) using the "Customer Order" component method.Context & Setup: Site 0175 (Internal Customer) orders Part AB from Site 0210 (Internal Supplier). Purchase Component Method: Set to "Customer Order". Product Structure: Part AB is a Purchase structure containing components A and B. Message Setup: MHS flow is active for both sites (ORDERS, DESADV, etc.).The Flow: Site 0175 releases a Purchase Order (P330) for Part AB. This automatically generates a Component Customer Order (P227) on Site 0175 to ship components A & B to the supplier (Site 0210).

We are trying to determine if there is a way to see what line items were included in a specific delivery note.  When we deliver lines and go thru the order process, it creates a delivery note but it shows all lines on the order in the delivery note screen.  We need to tie a line to a delivery note.  Is this possible?

We received a weighted average costed part with a Supplier Invoice Consideration that is Transaction Based.  The wrong price was on the original PO and we sold the parts to a customer.  The Detailed Statistics screen is showing the sale price with the wrong cost field.  The PO cost was updated and the supplier invoice was posted and processed to reflect the change in price.  On the Inventory Transaction page, we can see the change in the costs and the appropriate accounting entries to reflect the change in the Cost of Good Sold account.  However, we run the Detailed Statistics nightly, and the invoice in question, has not had the cost updated as reflected in the journal entry.  Is there something we can do to update the Detail Statistics - Invoiced Sales data.  We export this data into a Power BI data warehouse to run reports and this one is not reflected correctly.
