Working with a purchase part that has two part revisions, 1 and P1. Each revision is phased in on the same date (6/3/25). On the Purchase Order line, though, I cannot select revision P1. The only revision I can select is revision 1.Is there any way, outside of document text, to specify a prototype revision on a purchase order line?
Customer would like to know if it is possible to automatically blocked an order when the advance payment was not fully paid but after the reservation. The idea is to manually reserve a lot but blocked for shipment until fully paid advance invoiced. Seem pretty basic to me, but IFS seem to fall short on that.
Hi, A customer are using IFS Cloud 25R1 and want users to have a default printer automatically selected when printing reports/documents (eg. Delivery Notes). We tried setting a default printer on the user, but the printer is not selected automatically. Users still have to choose from a long printer list every time.Is there a recommended way to configure this in 25R1?Report Rules? Output Channels? Print Agent? Other settings? We would like to avoid manual printer selection if possible.
How can we avoid the negative impact of unrealistic customer forecasts while still keeping those records in the system? For example, if the forecast includes unrealistic quantities within the lead time that are impossible to fulfill, I still need to upload the forecast to maintain historical records, compare forecast accuracy, and support future evaluations. However, I would like to avoid negative impacts on supply chain activities, material planning, and production planning. Ajith

Hello,Is this feasible to add EDIT All option in the 2nd screenshot > Field - Promised Delivery Date.Let me know if the 2nd window is as per IFS Standard and it is not feasible to add Edit all option. However we can edit each line individually. Regards,Kruthika
Hi, in the Rental Workbench you can filter the displayed data using the Rental Status “On Rental” = No and “Logistics” = No The Fieldescription isOn Rental” = No » Records where the logistics quantity is greater than zero, but where rental has not been started.“Logistics” = No » The line has been fully delivered/received compared to the line quantity.as outcome I see a Rental with Start Rental and End Rental and a Return in the Event History. That’s fine. But I also see a Rental with no Start Rental and End Rental and a Return in the Event History This seems the Value “On Rental = No” means no Start Rental exists or is neutralozed with an End Rental. Is there are way / Combination to see only these Rentals with Start Rental and End Rental and a Return in the Event History? Thanks for any input
Hello procurement and supply chain experts!(Note: I posted this same question in the procurement area earlier this week but no response so my apologies if you see this in both places. I’m not clear where this question best belongs)We have a situation where we want to be able to create a blanket PO or similar with one-time approval, with one supplier for just a few select parts, and then request a drawdown against that as when site inventory is consumed or running low. We are struggling with how to implement this, even though it seems like it should be straightforward.Initially we looked at creating a PO for e.g. 6 months of supply quantity, with many lines in the PO for the quantity of a min delivery (e.g. qty 16 for 1 pallet to be delivered). The PO would be approved once, and then each time the total qty at the site fell below a defined threshold the buyers would release one or more lines from that ‘blanket’ PO as needed. Unfortunately when the PO is approved it seems it always
We have a shipment with a reservation for a serialized part that is correctly tied to a Customer Order. What is the process to cancel or delete the shipment?
Hello everyone,I have a customer who wants an aide to help them determine whether or not all of an items on customer that MUST ship in full will be available to ship as planned. The customer has restrictions that an order must ship complete and that there is often a “must not arrive by date” that applies to the entire order.Has anyone ever developed what I used to refer to as a go/no go report that checks customer order lines and the available inventory for them starting at the customer order available quantity and then , if unavailable, begin checking the open shop orders and/or purchase orders and their availability all the way through an item’s entire product structure to see whether or not the original order can be shipped. Think or it as a capability check on demand even for orders that have been released. Thoughts?
Hello,In the PO line, why does Promised delivery date gets updated automatically when planned receipt date is changed and vise versa.Regards,Kruthika
Good morning, community, We are having an issue when using count report, serial tracked items cannot be listed into the stock. The systems says that if I have just 1 PC on stock, I can find just that one or neither, there is not an option to give “2”. How do I get serial tracked part on stock, then? Thank you, Best RegardsPetaKu
Hello Community,Need your expertise on below scenario, any input or ideas are welcome as I am trying to figure this out still. We are running a bit unusual intercompany set up with an integration between app 8 and cloud.we are using INET_TRANS as media code to support this as it generates an application messagefor DIRDEL and INVOICE message classes INET_TRANS does not seem to trigger the application messages , my requirement is to generate an application message for DIRDEL and INVOICE so we can communicate to APP8 from cloud to process direct delivery and invoicing, dispatch advice is triggering. I have message class added in both ends message defaults enabled to create automatically as well.
Hello everyone,I’m trying to use the REPLAN Customer Order Lines function in IFS Cloud, but my customer order lines are not being updated as expected. Here’s my scenario:Part setup: Inventory part, MRP planning, availability check enabled. Stock: No parts in stock. Supply: Purchase Order is planned and expected to arrive (see details below). Customer Order Line: Created and released, linked to the above part. When I run REPLAN CO LINE: The customer order line is not updated (planned delivery date does not change).Questions:Are there any specific settings or prerequisites I might be missing (e.g., supply code, sourcing rule, capability check, etc.)? No parts in stockPO planned to arrive as per below Customer Order Line as MRP Planning
Hi all,I’m looking for some guidance regarding the Customer > Message Setup configuration in IFS.When adding a new message class, in this case DESADV, the Sequence No field is not being populated automatically. As shown in the screenshot, the existing INVOIC message class has a Sequence No populated, but the newly added DESADV line remains blank. Any guidance would be appreciated, especially if there are specific steps required when adding a new outbound message class such as DESADV for ASN processing.
I want to send an item to a supplier for further processing. Afterward, I will receive a new item with a new value.Where can I add the item to the processed item so that the withdrawal and shipment are handled automatically?
Will there be adversely affect/cause issues, if the receipt date on inventory part in stock line changed after a data migration process?
We have a sporadic issue when some users go to enter a new charge line on a customer order, the new line will display in the table, they will choose the charge type then when they click OUT of the charge type field, the whole new line disappears. When the line disappears the ‘Cancel New’ option is available. it appears the system knows there is a new line but no longer displays it for the user.It is nearly impossible to recreate and only happens to two employees so far. The only way they can correct it is by signing out of IFS Cloud and then logging back in.Has anyone else experienced this behavior?
Scenario: There are three inventory parts: A, B and C. Part A is assembled from B and C.When the customer places an order, the customer order lines in IFS are entered as B and C. However, only assembled Part A is available in inventory at the time of customer order shipment. How should this scenario be handled in IFS Cloud? Please provide some suggestions. Thank you.
Scenario: In the Sales module, 100 pcs are shipped in one delivery, but the customer only accepts and inspects 90 pcs upon actual receipt. Accordingly, the customer can only be invoiced for 90 pcs. The remaining 10 pcs can only be accepted, inspected and invoiced in the following month. How can this business scenario be implemented in IFS Cloud? With the current Delivery Confirmation function in IFS, once 90 pcs are confirmed as accepted, the remaining 10 pcs cannot be inspected and accepted separately in subsequent processes. We hope the official IFS team can optimize and enhance this function, as this business scenario is extremely common in the Chinese market.
Hello, I hope you are well.In location - Warehouse Management>Financial Control>Analysis>Inventory Value per Period, under the Value by Cost Level and Location Group tab, in the Quantity column, there is a value that is showing as negative for a certain part number. I have already performed all the analyses to find out why it is showing as negative. When summing the total quantity in the column, this value is exactly what is in stock.Does anyone have any idea how I can find out where this negative value is coming from?
Our purchasing department would like to know if it is intended that the Purchase Order Lines overview screen is not editable? I’m in IT so I have access to everything and I can’t modify this screen. My reasoning I gave her that you can’t do mass changes on this (e.g. change all the dates or change the inspection criteria) is because this view PURCHASE_ORDER_LINES_ALL combines both no part order lines and part order lines views. So maybe because of this and no part order lines having different primary keys than part order lines that maybe this is why? If someone could give me a reason or tell me that this screen is editable and I’m missing something, that would be very helpful.
Hello Team, I am new here. I was trying to deep dive on some issue for Shop order. I hit road block as I could not find the When Inventory Part “Status” was make inactive to Active? not sure how to check that? Can anyone guide here? Thanks in Advance.,
Is it possible to make notes mandatory on count per inventory part/Count per count report if the count is rejected due to exceeding tolerance levels?
