We’re trying to figure out how to manually push GPS coordinates into a location to be able to pick them up by map position and transfer it to the mobile client without an equipment object or customer in order for a pipeline company to be able to fine locates. 

Hi,Would anyone know how to handle multiple visits on the same Work Task in MWO without having to go into the client and manually assign work each day? E.g. a piece of maintenance that is carried out over 3 days where travel and work time is logged for each day. ThanksJohn

The Work Order Gantt seems to not show any indication when outside early start or late finich  requirements (sla). How is this fuctions activated or is it coming functionality?

Hello,   We are currently moving to IFS Application 10 Update 6 and we read in the documentation the .NET IFS Printer Agents currently do not support the Socket Server which we’d use to print ZPL files.  The java version of the print agent still supports a Socket Server to print ZPL but we’d like to utilize the .NET Print Agents.   Is there any release information on when the .NET Print Agents will implement the Socket Server?   Thank you, William Klotz

I have configured the print agent in IFS8. When I start it I see it finds all the printers defined in the ifs-printagent-config.xml file. When I attempt to print, it finds the print job from IFS and reports the document was sent to the printer with no errors.However, the document never reaches the printer. Instead it creates a file identified by the highest IP address of the configured printers. Ex: The printer selected was 172.20.24.202 but the file created is called 172.20.24.219. This file looks like the printer command file plus the PDF that should have been sent to the printer.Why didn’t the document print on the printer? Why would it create a file when the log says the document was sent to the printer with no errors? Why is the file named with the wrong IP address?

An MWO user is  trying receive and issue his material and he is getting this error message (see screenshot) when he clicks receive and issue.  Why and how do we go about this please? 

Hi Experts,We find many WOs that are Transferred to mobile are missing in “Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments” screen.  ​​​​​​Also the same WO cannot be found in “Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments” screen as well.What could be the reason for this behavior. We can find more than 500 such WOs where WO is assigned to the mobile but getting below type of errors due to missing connection.

HiWe have a number of PM’s which should generate 4 weeks before the planned start date, which has been working fine since 2015 but for some reason no work orders are generating for 2023. The calendars are generated and I even regenerated these yesterday but nothing. We have schedule database tasks that run overnight to generate the work orders and these are running fine with no errors so I am not sure what else could be causing this.Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue or can any advise what else I can check.This is in Apps 8.Kind regards,Hayley

We have added a standard field which originally not available on aurena native page using “Apps for Page Designer” page. When we deploy these configurations to multiple environments how do we manage with the delivery process?For an example, we have used “Remark” field which comes OOTB with IFS Cloud from “Work Task” page and added it into “Work Detail” page in MWO. How do we deliver these kind of configurations to multiple environments using delivery? 

Hi,While creating a survey with Work Type as ‘Work Assignment’, it is displayed in all the Work Tasks in mobile as expected. Additionally, the “Answer Once” option is selected in the survey as shown below.Below are two queries:When a survey is completed in one of the Work Tasks in mobile, it is removed from all the work tasks due to the ‘Answer Once’ option. Is this the expected behavior? Shouldn’t it still be visible for other tasks? Once the technician completes the survey, do we have an option to configure the answers as Read-Only for the technician to view but not perform any updates to the Survey? Currently, the technician can update the survey for a Work Task multiple times if the ‘Answer Once’ option is not selected. Any inputs would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello community,is it possible to only sync the objects and the information needed for these particular objects into the MWO (Apps 10, IFS Cloud)? Background: The service tec only needs all the object information for the object worked on with his/her assignment. T&RDADUDE

Hi All,We just came across a scenario, where we have an engine where we deal with two different customers. So the MRO WO has to be created for those two customers. However, IFS App10 version allows to create WO, we cannot disassemble the engine via Disassemebly Shop Order. System throws below error message:“The quantity on the stock record is owned by Customer XXX. You are trying to perform a transaction on the same record with Customer YYY indicated as being the owner.”We allowed the site level settings to have multiple customer ownership for parts. But, It seems like the position part entry in Inventory Part in Stock screen is not allowed in IFS. Any one has any other workaround? Appriciate it.(Obviously, we cannot have new locations in system, since same type of engines should be disassembled in similar locations physically).NOTE: Already reported to IFS three weeks back, yet to receive any solution.

I have a pickup task where the status of the header is not matching with the status of the assignment, preventing me from completing the pickup task on MWO. After releasing the pickup task, accepting and starting it on the mobile, I got some errors when trying to close it on MWO. To figure out what was causing these errors I tried completing the pickup task in Aurena, and after correcting some missing data I was able to complete the pickup task in Aurena. However, now the status of the pickup task is ‘Picked Up’ , but the assignment status is still ‘Work Started’. When I try to complete (or incomplete) the pickup task on MWO I get a failed transaction with the error ‘ORA-20132: JtPickupTask.NOTHANDLED2: The operation "PickUp" is not allowed for Jt Pickup Task objects in state "Picked Up". Hi All,This is in Apps 08. There are a few transactions that are not transferred to the GL through “Transfer Maintenance Time Transactions".  Accounting periods are open. I run “Rerun Erroneous Maintenance Postings” as well. However, nothing is transferred to GL. It seems the posting controls have been mapped correctly. Any line doesn't show an error text on the line. Status Code: “Valid”Booking Status: “Authorized” WO/ Postings can not be found in the "Report In Work Order” screen.Debit Credit lines are correct.The voucher type has been created with the correct function group.  Kindly advise what is the root cause of this issue and how to solve this.@Kasun Manuranga@Nethmini Kosvinna

I have used MapPositionFree to setup map position for Functional Objects and Work Tasks in IFSAPP10. upd 13.But when transfering to Mobile, the positions are not available in the mWO map. Do you need a Bing license to see the map positions in mWO ?Does it require any other set up to see the map positions in mWO
