Service (Touch Apps, MWO, MRO)

HiWe are building our onprem touch apps server to move away from the ifscloud solution for Apps 9 that is being retired in March.The onprem touchapp server previously had the ScanIT 2.1.4 app deployed to it but the version we are using on ifscloud is 2.1.7. Is there anything I need to be aware of before I deploy 2.1.7 to the onprem server?  Will it update or remove any data in IFS?  Do I need users not to be using Scanit through the cloud?  Anything else you can think of?I also have apps that havent been deployed at all to the on-prem server.  Can I just deploy these with no impact to the users currently using them through ifscloud? thanksGraeme     

There are some custom fields in our mWO solution. I noticed that for standard available fields the following may be in place with regards to visibility:So there is JSON coding that shows or hides the complete content if the CustomerName is NULL.Very nice indeed. But what about custom fields? If I try to make the same JSON setup I'm not allowed to:There is only Yes/No/Default as a selection criterium. Is there something special I must do to make this Visible parameter allow JSON code?Maybe I have to wait for a newer version of IFS?

Hi, we are trying to test MWO Maintenance in our development environment. However, when trying to sign in to the IFS MWO Maintenance application using Android, we get the following error:AuthorizationException: {“type”:0,”code”:3,”errorDescription”:”Network error”} We are able to sign in using the Windows app store app on a laptop, and we can also sign in to IFS Aurena from the mobile phone, but only the MWO app on phone results in this error. We have followed the instructions found here Mobile Work Order - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud. We have IFS_aurena_native and IFS_aurena_native_services IAM Clients defined.Looking at the Aurena Login Events page, we can see that when trying to sign in using the mobile app, we get a LOGIN and LOGOUT_ERROR rows. Does anyone know of a way of editing the layout of standard WO report in Mobile Work Order Particularly is there a way of replacing the IFS logo with a company Logo.    

Just started testing Notify Me on iOS (both IFS Aurena Notify Me 10 and IFS Notify Me 10).  Everything works except the app itself does not trigger a notification (Banners, Sounds, Badges) on the phone when a new notification is pushed to the app.   What am I missing?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!IFS Apps 10 Update 13 On-Prem w/IFS Touch Apps Server 10.13.344.0 IFS Aurena Notify Me 10 v10.17.1381.0 IFS Notify Me 10 v1.0.4 iOS 16.1.1 on iPhone SE Notifications enabled for both apps within phone settings Local Network and Background App Refresh enabled for both apps

Community,i have a work task 46338, come with requisition3486247, and it is in Closed status. PO is created, but not received. In order to bill customer, it has to show up in Work Task Sales Tab, but they are not, may I know where I missed?Thank you. 

Hi, We are in the process of going live with MWO on Apps10 UPD 11 Oracle 12c and when adding 100 users have run into major performance bottlenecks with the MWO Batch Sync job. The job executes for days and there are numerous errors such as PlsqlapServer.ERRPING: No response from MWS server [MAIN].We have tried updating the number of batch processes to 3 and have not seen any performance improvements. Are they any customers currently using MWO on Apps10 upd 11 with Oracle 12 that have run into issues with the Batch sync job execution times and what did you do to see any improvements? We have similar issues with the initialization which can take upwards of an hour. Any inputs/suggestions are greatly appreciated. 

Hi Community, Well… I have done the setup for trip Tracker 10 App, but when I try to connect receive the follows error message:"Company Setup Error: No companies available."  It's importan to mention that Travel Expenses in Enterprise Explorer works well and Notify me Application works well too. This error message only comes when I'm trying to connect to Trip Tracker Application.I have been trying to find some explanation to this issue but nothing is helping me.Did anyone have this issue before? Can help me to understand why this error message is coming from?Thanks in advance.Have a great day! 😉

Is it possible to modify the search criteria in Aurena?For example, I would like to generate a Requisition and without looking up the exact Work Order/ Functional Object. So, I would use the search function below Work Order. I can find the Work Order Number and a general description, but not the (Work Task) Definition, as specified in the Work Task Template. The same would apply for looking up a Functional Object, I can find and sort numbers, but I cannot find the (Object) Description. 

Mayby somebody have an idea how to create a workflow that will collect the logs at the time of each change of Permission Set. Mayby somebody have similar workflow and can insert it here.

HiIn the current view of the MWO we have (on Work Step level) an Object to which we may add description of the work and Remarks.However often we’d need other input. Below is a fictive example. The main problem is that we have more types of input. It could be a measurement, a description of the condition or something else. Adding it all into the Remarks field complicates future analysis and is btw difficult to read. Is there a way to add other fields without making them seem in all other reports?Objects Remarks Description of condition Length (m) Width (m)

A User has reported that his Sync Monitor is showing ‘Syncing - 1 Media Upload is waiting’ and has been in this state for a few days. how do we move it on and stop the Media Upload that his holding up his entire device? thanks, 

Hi ,Just to seek your advise. If deliveries are installed out of order does it have any any impact on other patches? for example, delivery 1070 was installed before patch 1067 - 1069. or must delivery be installed in order they were received?Thanks 

In IFS APPS 10 V8, we are trying to add an external line to the planning tab of the Prepare Work Order screen. We are able to add the line and save. When we right click on the line and choose Report Manual Transaction we enter the Quantity, the cost and possibly the cost category. We receive an error message that Manual External Reporting is not allowed. How do we enable this?

We recently moved into IFS 10 and still shaking out some bugs we might have missed from the testing. We have two sites for one company. Most of our inventory and supplies for sending out equipment is at our 210 location. We have work orders started for technicians on site connected to the original customer order and project in which the original NO order was a 215. Therefore the Work Order is a 215. I want to consume the material from 210 on a new work task and sell it from 210. We create a customer order for service before we issue our parts as a placeholder of where to send the parts etc. When we try to create the customer order we get this error:BUT on the other hand if we issue the parts, create the invoice preview, and allow the system to then create a customer order for the parts it does everything correctly for 210 as required

When trying to login to the Touch apps Server using system ID, we are presented with an ‘Invalid Redirect URL’ error: We have the correct URI redirect setups here (which matches the external URL provided in TAS setup):  Does anyone have any ideas on how we can resolve this? Many thanks

Hi, We are in the middle of IFS Cloud 22R1 deployment at customer site with MWO Maintenance app. Customer is planning to use MWO Maintenance with android tablets and setting MWO app to auto update. If there are any issue, is it possible to uninstall the update and go back to previous version. Is the MWO Maintenance app backward compatible? Regards,Dasun

Hi all,I need help to clarify the Pool concepts because we have a new scenario.The scenario consists of planning and sending a Work Task with Demands to two Resource Groups where only one will accept and execute the Work Task. In this case when one Mobile User accepts the Work Task, a Work Assignment is created and the Work Task is removed from all other Mobile Users in the Resource Group. The other Demand should be cancelled in Transferred Tasks/Work Assignments.This scenario happens because of the unavailability of resources and because the Work Task can be performed by any of the related groups and not by others. The Customer expects that the unaccepted Demand will also be dropped from the Pool when the Work Task is accepted by any Mobile User.The same scenario can happen with Tasks sent to Pool-Keep.What is your recommendation for this scenario?
