Hi,

 

When we incomplete an assignment, there is a field to set remaining hours for the Activity.

 

That is ‘Remaining hours to complete work’

When the mobile user decide to incomplete an assignment and then he adds few hours to ‘Remaining hours to complete work’ field. When the mobile user add these additional hours, what will happen in the background.

Should it create a new demand line for the same work task or more follow-on allocations? For the time being it seems that non of them are happening.

Hi,

On activities that are scheduled with multiple visits, this value is used in back office to track and update the duration of the full activity according to the estimated remaining time. Based on this, additional visits will be scheduled by Scheduling engine or Follow On visits will extend their duration accordingly. If set to 0, the remaining visits scheduled will be removed. 

On incomplete , the expected remaining duration enterred  will update the duration of the work task activity with the value entered.
