I am having issues with my IIS app pool crashing after a make a call to a stored procedure. I get the result and then the next time I want to call the procedure again I get this errorMicrosoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (Oracle in OraDB19Home2, C:\oracal_driver19installer\BIN\SQORA32.DLL). putting different oracle drivers on has not fixed the problemif I recycle the IIS app pool I am able to call the procedure but it then crashes on the next call.

IFS App10 AWS Cloud Hosting

We currently have IFS App10 UPD 15 MWS running on-prem on Windows 2016 servers. Our database is Oracle 12.2. Our client wants to migrate to their AWS Cloud.We are going to test this out with our development environment first as proof of concept. We will be moving a copy of the 12c database to Oracle 19c in the AWS cloud. IFS MWS will be created on a Windows 2016 server in the AWS cloud. We would like to know if anyone has done this already, and what issues were encountered and how they were solved.

Filtered User Dropdown to Members of a Group

We would like to create a dropdown to select a user where the dropdown list only contains users that are in a specific user group. This seems like a somewhat normal thing to want to do but we can’t figure out any way to do it in the application. The list would have to show the users actual name as our ID numbers aren’t really easy to relate to people or remember.

Copy Document Object Connection with Custom Event

Hi everyone We are currently using a custom event to copy document object connections from “routing operation” to “shop order routing operation”, because the transformation doesn’t work for us in this case. This works very well.Know we have the Case that the Shop Order gets created via Customer Order or Project. The users in Sales Team oder Project users don’t have access to all Documents which have to be copied. Since the Users don’t have access to the Documents the event doesn’t copy them.As “Hotfix” we gave them access to the documents but I rather fix it the right way.Currently the api call is right in the Event itself. Azure VPN client connection info

A customer is asking a question regarding build place Azure VPN client. When using it, does it open up for traffic through Azure out to internet, or is it a closed connection to just the tenant IFS is run on.The concern is if it is opening for internet traffic into their network and bypassing firewalls and security settings.Can anyone please share some technical details on the setup?

Crystal issue

Hi, We are reaching out to you regarding an error we have encountered within our IFS system, specifically related to the Crystal Web Service configuration. We need your guidance and expertise to resolve this issue promptly.The error message we are receiving states:"Crystal Web Service Instance(s) are incorrectly configured or not reachable. Please contact your system administrator." We would like to inform you that we have thoroughly checked the Crystal Web Service and it is currently operational. Additionally, the IIS site is functioning correctly, indicating that there are no underlying issues with its configuration. User Roles & Permission Sets for Mixed Payment

Hi,We are having a requirement on user role setup, whereas a set of users should have access only to create the Mixed Payment but not approve and another set of users should have access only to approve the Mixed Payment but not create.In simple terms Creator should not have access to Approve and Approver should not have access to Create.Is this feasible with User roles & Permission sets? We have issues with sending customer invoices to our invoice broker. We use the IFSFinvoice Mapping document to analyse what has gone wrong but we find that IFS produce the outgoing file with fields that are not covered in the mapping document. It seems the mapping document is obsolete.Our mapping document is: IFSFinvoice mapping (RD-ADM - 1278241 - 1 - A10) - 1, dated 2021-10-19.Is there a valid mapping document that we can obtain in any way.We run IFS APPS 10 UPD 17.

Hello All,We are attempting to be IAS 21 compliant, in regards FX translations. We have asked IFS consultants and the IFS Customer Success team but cannot get a satisfactory answer, Currently in IFSClosing FX rates are entered into a designated field in IFS on a weekly/monthly basisIn the GL Balance Analysis IFS converts all NZD balances to AUD (parallel currency) at the transaction/voucher dates using the closing FX rates entered into IFS.This is not aligned with the IAS 21 currency conversions. What does the "Notify Invalidation" button in the incident distribution list do?

I got a question from our customer about a button that I have not been aware of earlier, and it is only visible when certain criteria's are met (“Notification type: Manual”, ”Invalid: True”, “Status: Completed”)I have tried to dig in the IFS documentation, but have not been able to find any information regarding this. From the wording of the button I expect it to send out a notification/e-mail that the Previously sent notification no longer is valid. but I have not been able to find out how this is set up.Note: For the Persons that are set up to receive the Notification automatically, For instance on Incident status changes. Will receive the notification for this, but there are no notification that the previous notification/Email no longer is valid. It just sends out a new notification as an addition.Does anyone here have any knowledge of this?

Custom field in EntityVirtual

Hi,I added a custom attribute in the SrvRequest but I cannot it see it in the Page (SrvRequestVirtual, because is the page Assistant), therefore I created a group in the page to enter the value. When the Service Request is created the value entered before is not there (please see screenshot below). Am I doing something wrong?

How to Customize Login Screen in IFS Cloud?

Hello,I am wondering if there is any documentation on changing the login screen on IFS cloud? We’d like to change the background image/title for different environments.Looks like it can be achieved in IFS Apps through Branding Options. FSM / PSO Split Activity Functionality

We use PSO for our Field Service team are considering using it within our Repair Centre to schedule machine refurbishment work. Initial tests seem to show this would work though there is one issue in that we would always have tasks running into a second day for all Repair Centre technicians.This led me to the article below which confirm PSO can handle this but FSM can’t. This post is three years old so I though it worth asking if this functionality was ever developed in FSM and if not, how are othere working around this limitation? Thanks,Barry

Missing functionality for creating "No Part Requisitions" through Technician Portal

It appears that the Technician Portal in the standard IFS solution does not have functionality developed for creating "No Part Requisitions" (i.e., requisitions for services or tasks that don't involve inventory or non inventory parts).Has anyone else encountered this limitation? Are there plans to develop this feature for the Technician Portal, or are there alternative approaches for technicians to request no part services?I would greatly appreciate any feedback or guidance on how this can be addressed within the standard solution or whether customization is needed.Thank you!

MRB – Receipt Cannot be Processed Error

I’m interested in learning how other members of the community are managing MRBs (Material Review Boards) for subassemblies. Currently, we are encountering a hard stop error whenever we attempt to consume a subassembly part that is associated with an open MRB into the parent shop order. The error message reads: "Component part serial 'part number/' exists in an open MRB case; receipt cannot be processed."While we are able to issue the component to the shop order, we are unable to complete the shop order receipt due to this issue.For context, the MRB pertains to a limited subset of impacted parts, not all parts of that part number. Additionally, these parts are both serial and lot-tracked, but it seems the MRB screen does not support the use of unique identifiers. We’re currently on Apps 10.Any insights or best practices on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Format of new part number

Where can I define on how a new engineering part part number should look like ?It should be 10 digits long with zero leading .. like 0000000001, 0000000002 etc.Also where can the next free “number” be defined (we are already at the number 0000054321) ?We are at ifs cloud 23.1.6Thanks, Roger

Help with configuration remote warehouse replinishment

Hello All, Here is my situation. I have a customer on Apps10 that has multiple remote locations (field reps) that hold fixed amounts of inventory, that need to be replenished frequently. The replenishment inventory comes from an FGI warehouse onsite. The customer services people use a spreadsheet to determine if a replenishment is required and then create transport tasks manually.I know that the easiest and simplest way to create is to use Kanban, however this customer does not own Kanban so we are trying to use Remote warehouses with replenishment via Putaway zones. The crazy thing is as I’ve tried things here and there I have gotten things to work on some parts but not others, and I can’t seem to find how I got it to work.I’ve included all my setup in the attached document. Any help would be appreciated.

Converting the same Functional objects to serial object

Hi ExpertsOne of our oil and gas clients is currently working exclusively with functional objects, without any serial objects in their system. However, they’re now interested in converting some of these objects into serial objects while preserving all past transactions linked to them. I’d like your expert feedback on the approach we're considering for this request and to know if any of these options should be reconsidered. We’re looking at around 40 objects, all of which include measurement details, PM actions, and WOs, but no financial transactions. Here are my proposed options:Create manual serial objects: Reuse the same functional object ID and migrate historical transactions from functional objects via DR script. Scripted Conversion: Develop a script to directly convert functional objects to serial objects (uncertain about feasibility). Migration Script: Use a comprehensive migration script to transfer data (though I feel this could be more complex than the above options, given the

Cloud 24R1 - The need is Supplier Request document attachments to be brought over to the Supplier record when created from the Supplier Request.I tried creating an OCT as per the screen shot. The Supplier_ID key does exist in the SupplierRequest, but I think it's not working as it's a populated field instead of a Key field. When I run the test, it states it has “passed” however the Source Key populates with REQUEST_ID, not SUPPLIER_ID.Any solution here? Or not a feasible solution?
