How do I freeze the sort of the Purchase Order Lines so the most recent is at the top?

This screen does not have a “created time” column and when I return to it the column is forzen but the date is not the most recent.

Following up on this to see if anyone has a response

Hi @screason,

You have to click on the frozen “created” column so that it will either arrange in ascending or descending order. However, I ran some tests and noticed that unless we provide some criteria and save a filter, it is not possible to save this “created” column in a way such that it will automatically be visible with the most recent records on top every time you visit the page.

Thanks,

Thilini

Hi,

As a workaround, you can also use the Page designer to set an Order By parameter. However, this will replicate the behavior to all users connected to the Context you made the changes on.

Correct on the inability to filter, freeze, and save search criteria.

I do not have access to the “Page Designer” screen.

I think that I may have the same question. When running a query, for example using Customer Orders to view an order history for a customer. Once i sort the column so the newest order is at the top of the list, I’d like to remain at the top even when viewing the details of a particular order in the results screen. Currently, i will select the newest item to view (customer order) and then use my back arrow to return to the report (customer orders) and the report is no longer sorted newest to oldest.  it takes several click to highlight the column, then sort again.  there must be a search setting that can save the  report newest to oldest.

@Connie I’m afraid the only way to do this automagically would be via Page Designer as @ArcPierreL suggested above.
