FSM Mobile Hide Fields

Dears,Can someone guide me what I need to write exactly to hide few fields in Mobile based on access group. Excel Migration - Drop Down List and Fetch DB value

Hello, Trying to implement a user available excel migration file and have to solve two problems to make it useable. problem 1) Want to make one of the columns a drop down with 5 to 6 options for ease of input and formatting. Other values could be manually input but the drop down would contain the most frequently used values. Would prefer to do this using Client Values and not DB values. In this example it would be the Work Task Template ID - Description - Rev. Problem 2) This specific migration container is to a custom page and the primary values are Contract and Line No. The issue is that the migration file is asking for line DB value and the user will not have access to that information since its not viewable in the client. There is an API call to the OBJKEY on that table which is the DB value for the Line Number. Trying to determine how to have the file fetch the DB value after the user specifies the client value. I’ve scoured documentation and watched numerous videos with no luc

Can't handle receipts in MWO

Hi everyone,I have an issue on MWO when I try to handle purchases, here are my screenshots :My Supplier for purchase part, with the receive case “Receive into inventory”. It’s a stock part.I create a maintenance PO :When I try to receive the PO from MWO, I can’t choose the receive location :After that, when I receive the part, the Receipt says that the part has been received into Arrival The problem is :My part isn’t in inventory I can’t issue it on my WT Thanks

Avalara Tax Codes on Sales Charges

We have two specific tax scenarios which I presume would be consistent amongst any customer using the Avalara service...so hopefully I’m not breaking new ground with this question. We have ‘freight’ and ‘sales tax credit’ setup as Sales Charge Types in IFS. But there is no way to assign an External Tax Parameter to a Sales Charge...I only see that for Sales Parts. Without a mechanism to assign a tax code mapping, these charges then get passed to Avalara as taxable. How are other customers addressing this? Are you create these as sales parts and then adding them a lines on your orders? Is there already way method to handle this that I am missing?

Assistance Needed to Speed Up Refill Putaway Zone Execution for Remote Warehouse Vans

Hello,Our team manages refill putaway zones for tech vans in our remote warehouse setup. Recently, we added storage zones and multiple inventory locations within the remote warehouse, allowing each tech to have assigned bins for replenished parts.Previously, running the refill for each van took just a few minutes. However, since adding the storage zones, each scheduled refill now takes over an hour to execute. We refill 40 vans twice a week on different days (Monday to Thursday, starting in the evening), but the refill process often carries over into work hours, which disrupts our team’s daily functions as they wait for scheduled tasks to complete.To address this, I created a separate batch queue configuration for the refill putaway zone. However, I believe that pulling from our main inventory is causing delays by interrupting parts reservations for customer orders and work tasks.Is there a specific system configuration or optimization that could help speed up the refill putaway zones?

Issue when i try to filter the Project list in Aurena by Created_date

SQL event action in IFS APP10 that retrieves attached documents to be sent with emails generated from purchase order functionality is not working in IFS Cloud

This functionality stopped working in IFS Cloud because of command Plsqlap_Server_API.Invoke_Record_Impersonate is giving errors that is no longer supported. Or more specifically, the Batch_Transfer_Handler is no longer supported in IFS Cloud. There is a day forwarning column in the maintenance plan. I would like to know which screen or column uses this data. I was unable to identify this information in the help.I think it is the Next Interval Maint screen where only maintenance intervals within the period defined in the days forwarning column are shown.

PO line price how to freeze

Hello.I received interesting question from my client and I don't know how to cope with it:One PO with 1 line with 1 piece on non-inventory Part. The price is 1000 EUR.1 register of arrival is 0.5 piece and gives the total amount of 500 EUR.Then the price in the PO was changed and it necame 2000 EUR.The second register of arrival is 0.5 piece and gives 1000 EUR, so total posted amount for this PO is 1500 (instead of 2000) and the PO status is Closed.How to get the posting for 2000 for this PO after changing the price?The alternative way is to freeze the price in the PO not to be possible to change it. Is it possible?Thank you for your ideas.

Vacation accruals with multiple tears.

I am looking for advice on setting up vacation accruals by hours and time with the company in IFS Cloud. For example, from years 0 - 3, the employee gets 80 hours per year of vacation. The accrual rate is 0.03846 hours of vacation per hour worked. The maximum carry forward is 160 hours. from years 4 - 6, the employee gets 100 hours per year of vacation. The accrual rate is 0.04807 hours of vacation per hour worked. The maximum carry forward is 200 hours. The years need to be calculated from the employee hire date. Can the accruals be automatically changed once the years of service moves to the next tear? I don’t see how you do anything with hours in the time limit value details.

Very high values on Avg DTU percentage usage

Dear PSO Experts,We are experiencing very high values on Avg DTU percentage usage. Please see first screenshot.Yesterday the peak started at around midday and remained above 90% until the new automated load at 3:30 am today.Please see second screensthot for the current levels of exceptions. We have loaded 4,872 Activities in PSO with a dynamic window of 5D and an Appointment window of 21D. We are on PSO 6.13.Could the high levels of Exceptions have such a significant impact on the Avg DTU percentage usage?We are looking into the indexing of the database.I will appreciate any feedback from you if you have experience a similar scenario.Many thanksMiguel

How do I turn off Hyper links on the Document Folder Navigator

We are currently on 23R2.10 The actual documents are now appearing in the tree section of the Document folder Navigator screen again. The problem is that they now have a hyperlink to the Document Revision screen. Our shop floor employees use this screen to review their work instructions. We do not want them in the document revision screens. How can I turn off this hyperlink? We would prefer that it just be a view document feature.

Force Date Format to follow Company standard

Hi We are in the process of upgrading to IFS cloud 24R1, and all the dates in our IFS cloud do not match our local time system. IFS Cloud uses American, and we are Europeans. As other posts in the community has noted, it is possible to change browser settings, but we are a production company with many not so tech savvy people. Is there a way to centrally force date formats? Either a parameter in system parameters, or a change in the used languages.Best Regards

FSM: How to setup contract start date

Hi.In FSM, when creating a quote with lines for a contract, the quote generates a temporary contract with status set to “QUOTE”. The duration on the quote lines (quote_contract_line) determines the coverage start and end dates. The problem is that the temporary contract uses todays date as the start date for this calculation. Is there any way to edit the process so that it uses a different start date?

There is nothing more stated in the help text other than there is a configuration level. there is no examples etc.What I really want to know is how to create conditional formatting and publish it to all users.In Enterprise explorer this was managed with base profiles. I have yet not found any way to do the same in IFS cloud

Connecting shipment with package parts

I am receiving an error when trying to edit a customer order line that is released. It says cannot connect to shipment because all package components have been supplied by internal purchase direct supply. Any ideas? Seems to only happen for supply code pkg parts (package parts). We have shipments that are auto created when a customer order line is released. IFS app10

Aurena Agent issue

Hello, We currently have an ongoing issue for some users regarding the Aurena Agent. Some users report that they cannot upload or download files due to the following error.- EdmFile.The "EDM File" has already been removed by another user.- Something went wrong when uploading the file using the Aurena Agent. Error message: Missing or empty mandatory parameter: odataWe have added the correct permissions to said users and have confirmed that the users have installed the .msi file and the chrome extension correctly.Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Bryan

How to solve the error ORA-20115: PostingProposalHead.FND_REMOVED: The "Posting Proposal Head" has already been removed by another user.

Hello! I am using IFS Apps 10 UPD18 and am facing the issue that a posting proposal appears not to be connected to an invoice. We can see the following error in the “Supplier Invoices for Final Posing Analysis,” but nothing appears when you search for that posting proposal in the posting proposal screen. ORA-20115: PostingProposalHead.FND_REMOVED: The "Posting Proposal Head" has already been removed by another user. I suspect that this could be an error originating from the code. I kindly request your advice and guidance on solving this issue so Supplier invoices can be treated as usual. Thank you!
