Process to deactivate a GL account in IFS Cloud

Hello,What’s the best way to make a GL account inactive in IFS Cloud? The account must of course be retained as it has historical data and transactions but no new postings to it should be allowed (no manual voucher postings, not allowed to be use in prepostings and no postings to it via posting control)I set the valid period on it to expire but I can still add the account into a posting control.

Notifications in IFS Community?

Can I see my Community notifications in the Community itself? I currently get them in my emails, but the mails are cluttered already (yes there is a folder for Community). I have subscribed to some groups, so I get mails from them as well. I am sure this is common for most others as well.I can see a notification when there is a private message. Similarly, is there a way to see notifications i.e. mentions, replies, best answers inside the Community portal itself?

Can't View attached Document from attachments pane

Hello,Surely, I must be missing something. I have a document(s) attached to Project Definition but I cannot view the document from the attachments pane. The eyeball isn’t there. I don’t have a problem using view document from the document revision itself. Any ideas what would cause this? Patrick

The order does not fall within the relevant approval rule

Hi,I created the approval rule according to my project group.I have two approval rules, T-SAS001 and T-SAS002.While the priority of T-SAS001 is 20, the priority of the other approval rule is 21.Currently, when I select the project code that falls within the scope of the approval rule with priority 21, it falls into the approval rule with priority 20. What should I do?

Creating Supplier for Purchase Part in Cloud

In Apps 10 Enterprise Explorer, if we have a purchase part that has no assigned Supplier for Purchase Part record(s), we can RMB from the Purchase Part screen and select Supplier for Part from the menu. This will bring us to the Supplier for Purchase Part screen and will automatically start the creation of a new Supplier for Purchase Part record, automatically filling in the Purchase Part No from the source screen. The user just needs to complete the rest of the required fields and save.Similarly, if we are on a Work Order Part Requisition line and enter a purchase part with no Supplier for Purchase Part record, we can link directly from the RMB menu to the Supplier for Purchase Part screen and it will automatically begin the creation of a new Supplier for Purchase Part record, filling in the purchase part number from the source screen.But in Cloud 24R2, this appears to be working differently.When we link to the Supplier for Purchase Part screen, it does not automatically start the cre

How to Add a Search Bar to the Product List Screen in Mobile Environment?

I want to add a search bar at the top of the product list screen in the mobile environment, similar to the configuration available on the customer screen. However, since the product list is a list-type screen, I am unable to add an extra field to this screen.Is there a way to add a filter or search functionality to a list-type screen? Payment terms configuration

We are on version 10 of IFS. We need assistance of how to set-up the following payment term: 1) 45 days from ship date2) End of month of calculated date in step 13) Plus one day of calculated date in step 2 Example: Ship date 2/14/2025, plus 45 days equals 3/31/2025. EOM puts it at 3/31/2025, plus one day equals 4/1/2025Example: Ship date 2/15/2025, plus 45 days equals 4/1/2025. EOM puts it at 4/30/2025, plus one day equals 5/1/2025. Does anyone have information on how to set-up this up?

Cost/Revenue GL in Opening balances in 0 peirod

Hi Community, One of our clients encountered an issue with their opening balances. They mistakenly uploaded the opening balances for the year 2020 in the "0" period, despite not having a 2019 year in the system. Later, they reversed the balances in Period 1 and re-uploaded the opening balances for Period 1.Currently, the balances are correct in the 2020-12 period. We are now performing the year-end process for 2020 to transfer balances to the 2021-0 period. However, I noticed that the Cost/Revenue GL balances have incorrectly carried over into the 2021 opening balances.Is there a way to correct this? Would it be possible to proceed with backend data corrections to remove the Cost/Revenue balances from the 2021-0 period?We are using Apps7.Thank you in advance for any suggestions or guidance.

Custom Event on new objects

Hello there! I’m trying to build a custom event that triggers after a new object is created and it updates a field value of this new object. However, when the system trigger the event it doesnt update the new object field, it does on the previous object. API to grab QtyAvailable (Not_alloc_in_stock) from Shop Order Material Availability Check

is there an API get procedure to grab Qty available field from shop order material availability check screen to use in my lobby data source? Qty Available = Not_Alloc_In_Stock in the oracle backend. I have struggled to find an api to use this field in my data source.

Shop Order Split and Set up Time

Hello,We use the comprehensive split function to split large shop orders into smaller batches. As an example, we mix ingredients in 1000 lb. batches as that is the max capacity of the mixing machine, however, the full shop order is for 10,000 lbs. so we split the larger shop order into 10 x 1,000 lb. shop orders. When we do that, though, setup time is planned for on each split shop order when in reality we only set up once and then all subsequent shop orders that were split into do not need set up. The result is large cost variances.I understand the reason why this would happen, but is there a way to remove this setup time from 9 of the 10 shop orders in the example above? Does anyone else have a similar situation where they were able to solve for this issue?

Yield Loss / Scrap Factor

In our business we experience yield loss on shop orders. For example, we mix ingredients together and for a 1000 lb. shop order, we know we will experience x lbs. of yield loss and the shop order will yield, for example, 960 lbs. instead of the 1000 lbs. lot size. I have been researching yield loss and am struggling to find an answer to answer my questions.We want to use scrap factor to increase the requirements for ingredients. For example, if we know we are going to experience 4% yield loss on a shop order, we want the required ingredients to be inflated by 4%. I have seen scrap factor in multiple places within IFS, but am not sure how to do what we are after, without adding, in this example, 4% scrap factor to each ingredient in the product structure. The second part of this question is that we don’t actually scrap anything out in IFS. We just receive less than the required amount on the shop order. Does that affect the scrap factor use? When looking at product costs, it seems that

Business Rule - Multiple Lines

I have a validation business rule that ensures a warehouse code is entered when the status changes from “COMPLETED-REVIEW” to “COMPLETED”. It usually works with a single line code , but when there are multiple lines, the behavior becomes inconsistent depending on the placement. Do you have an idea what could be causing this issue?

How to database column names for writing reports easily

We’ve recently moved to cloud and I’m struggling writing a new report based off of customer order lines. Back in IEE, there was a “system information” tab at the bottom that told the admins what the sql column names were. Does this exist in any form in cloud?If not, what is the easiest way for me to figure out the the database names for the columns displayed? A good example of this is QTY_ASSIGNED. The column names don’t match what they are in the database therefore if I was brand new, I wouldn’t have any idea that QTY_ASSIGNED is the “Reserved QTY” and I haven’t found an easy way to figure this out in the application.

DDMRP what is the ADU's exact formula based on transactions history.

Hello everybody, Does anyone know the exact formula used to calculate the ADU based on transactions history? It seems that for the number of horizon days from the Start Date (Today - (DLT + horizon)), the system takes the sum of the quantities issue / horizon. However, for the period corresponding to Today - DLT, it adds a quantity for which I can't find the formula. Change status from Approved to Planned in Export License

Hi, we have a general export license that we would like to add additional Export Control codes on. When changing the status from approved to planned to be able do changes this information will pop up I know we have connected licenses. I do not intend to do changes on already created data, I´m just gonna add more data and then set the license back to approved. Does anyone know if this will mess up anything? BR

Have selected the checkbox for ‘Use as Customer Repayment’ in Payment Formats per Company screen, but still don’t have the option to select it as payment method when creating Repayment Order? What else needs to be selected/set up to allow this?

Planned Revenue in Project Navigator does not change when order is cancelled

Hello Community, In Project Navigator, Planned Revenue field sums up all Customer Orders connected to the respective activity. Same applies even for connected customer orders that are is cancelled or invoiced and credited. Is there any way to reduce the amount of planned revenue, apart from the extreme way of running the Customer Order cleanup, which will clean all the customer orders for a site before a given date?
