In IFS10, shortly after upgrading from IFS8:When we go to an active Task Schedule with a single task, Create Order Proposal, and attempt to add a day, change the time it executes, or alter the schedule in any way we receive the error message, “The Batch Schedule Par already exists.” The SQL trace comes back clean in the debugger having successfully run the validation method on the database task.Deleting the task schedule and database task in an attempt to recreate the job results in the same error message when attempting to reconstitute the task schedule.
We currently have users who want to be informed on changes against CI’s and want to receive a notification as an FYI that a Change Request was submitted against that CI. Is there any way to have a user subscribe to a CI within the CMDB, which would send them a notification when a change request is submitted against that CI?
It is possible to change the label colours of FSM smart client by changing the item style id from UI designer. it works for FSM smart client but when i try the same page in web client, it changes only combo box value and labels colors are not changed. usually the basic behavior is same in smart client and web client. if so, is this some limitation?so, how can i change the web client label value?
I am using FSM with a SQL database and wish to produce a new Test DB from my existing PROD DB. I have tried restoring a backup of the Prod DB to the test DB and this doesn't work as it says DB not available. I have tried doing and export from the Prod DB to the Test DB but I get an error about writing to a read only table. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi All, After doing a bit of testing today, it seems that The Initial queries on each Sync rule, brings in data for each of the Tables in the query. For example, the TASK sync rule initial query might bring in 2 tasks, and the REQUEST sync rule intial query might bring in an additon 8 as it uses the Task table in its initial query. This makes it some what hard to determine where tasks are appearing from on the device. So i am thinking what would happen if i erase ALL of the initial queries in the Sync Rules and just create one big one on, say, TASK that pulls in all the Data we need? Maybe an impractical approach, but would it work in theory?Any thoughts? I am thinking it would be much easier to maintain the Sync Rules this way and i can keep data on the device to a minimum. Note: Sub Forumn may be wrong for this, only gave me 4 options
Hello,We are using FSM 5.7 and have been having an issue with the mileage calculation button retrieving the mileage from the Api. It also seems that the portal is having issues retrieving newly created facilities that exist within the application. It has been mentioned before that there could be an issue with the Api pointing to http instead of https, however it is hard to determine if that is the exact issue and how to solve it. Any advice or help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
A customer has a solution whereby attachments are saved to a location within their DMZ, since this is a security risk they have requested zero file residency i.e. delete as soon as the download to mobile is complete. We have put in a routine to do a daily cleanse but is a dynamic delete possible?

I have checked the server log and got these errors listed below.1. The remote name could not be resolved2. A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond .3. Hi,I have been through the community and can see posts relating to IFS Apps, but nothing much around PCI Compliance and FSM.I am being asked internally if FSM (current version is 5.7u11, and FSM6) is compliant with PCI v4.0 and if any assessments have been completed. If there has, is there a certificate that can be shared. If not then is that in the timeline to be completed?As a company we do a small amount of transactions via the FSM UI which calls a direct integration api, and we store the response into database. Our internal security team are specifically looking at that transaction with regards to the scope of PCI. Ady
On the community I found all the What’s new presentation of IFS Application 10 per UPD. What I cannot find is the What’s new presentation of Apps 10 RTM. Is this information available and where can I find this?I also wonder why some of the IFS Applications Update What’s New Presentations contains a huge number of files while others are relative small. Like Update 4 (505 slides) Update 5 (698 slides). Does these ppt contain all the What’s new slide from the previous updates?What would very useful if there is one ppt which contain all the What’s new from Apps 10 RTM until UPD 17. One of my clients has requirement, on the same object user will define different PM Actions for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months. If 3 Months PM Action-WO is not finished, then 6 months PM Action-WO should not generate and display an error message “Unfinished work order already exists on PM Action XXXXX Revision 1”For this scenario, I’m using replacement functionality, configuring replacement on 6months for 3months, system is giving a warning message in the background jobs, but work order is generated despite the fact 3 months WO is not finished.My understanding is that use of replacement system shouldn’t generate WO for 6 months if WO-3 months is not finished , correct me if my understanding is incorrect or is it a bug.

Hello IFS Community,In our IFS 8 Production Environment, we somehow exceeded our license limit of 448 (screenshot below). This resulted in all users being kicked out of IFS. To fix it we logged in as App Owner and deactivated 1 license so that we were no longer exceeding the limit. My question is: IFS prevents you from activating a new account if it would exceed the license limit… so how could this have happened? I have never seen this before. Thank you very much for your help!
HI We have a criteria named : DispatcherFor a service agent where we can define this data ? (The lookup criteria is on a list of Employees)I thought it was the supervisor, but not. I am wondering if it is possible to create tasks and reqeuests in FSM from a third party application. In my use case, the third party application will send a message to FSM to create a Request and a Task for the new Request (customer, type, etc will be supplied). Is this possible if the third party application does not know the next request ID/task ID in sequence? Thank you.
