Could it be that IFS Connect needs to connect to the SFTP server to check for incoming messages at regular intervals? If that's what happening, perhaps you can make it happen less frequent?
Hi @Mathias Dahl , Thank you for the reply, The SFTP Connect Reader is configured to connect to the external sftp server (AccessPay) to read files, Additionally, the following observations were noted:
There are 2 x Routing Rules in IFS Connect for MT940 bank statement creations, that are linked to AccessPay readers
There are background jobs for “Load MT940 from AccessPay”; 3 per day, that run at 07:00
Could you please suggest possible steps to minimize the request frequency from the SFTP reader connector if feasible?
@maheshmuz
That's outside my area of expertise. Hopefully someone else here will know. Did you try the documentation? If you don't get any replies here in a few days I suggest you file a support case.
Good luck!
Thank you @Mathias Dahl , In the APP9 environment, there was an option called "Polling Settings" that allowed us to configure this. However, I couldn't find the same option in IFSCloud. I had raised this in another post and received a response confirming that this option is not available in IFSCloud.
The poll time for Connect Readers is fixed at 30 seconds in the IFSCloud environment.
@maheshmuz
Thanks for reporting back. Even if you cannot change it, at least you know the reason for the frequent SFTP connections now…
