Changing the Inventory Part Number on the Sales Part

We have instances where we need to change the inventory part number on a sales part after it has been saved and transactions are done. We cannot issue new sales part numbers every time we have new inventory parts because we have “printed” literature that shows our sales parts. So, we need the same sales part ID to remain, but connected to a different inventory part.In IFS applications 7, it was possible to change the Inventory part that was connected to a sales part in the “Sales Part” windowIn later versions, this possibility has been restricted, and the system was designed to maintain a one-to-many relationship between inventory parts and sales parts.Can you please specify the reason why this functionality was disabled after apps7? Can you suggest a workaround we can use in the above situation, instead of creating a new sales part?

Customer data on Build place

Hello Community,I want to ask about this statement in IFS docs?Here is the link - https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r2/010_overview/020_high_level_architecture/ What are all the reasons behind this? Why build place must (or should?) not contain customer production data?Is it because of the data protection laws of the various countries? If yes, then how IFS manages this on use place environments like CFG, UAT which are sometimes accessible by consultants residing in different countries. Thanks in advance.

Status of TR unchanged after Approval Routing

Good day.  Due to multiple approval levels on TR’s at our Customer, we are using a combination of the Travel Request Configuration and Approval Routings.  If first level Approval has been done based on the TR Configuration setup, but TR is Rejected on 2nd or 3rd level approval step via the Approval Routing, the status of the TR remains “Approved” (based on 1st level approval that was done). Any suggestions in this regard?Thank you.Anya

Appointment Templates Item sync between Cloud and PSO

How can one load the Appointment Templates Details defined on the cloud as shown below, +to PSOWhen a load from cloud is pushed i do see the appointment templates in the Load.how ever this is not being reflected in the Appointment Template on PSO.is there a parameter or setting that needs to be enabled?

REST Call - POSTing Form Data (Workflow/Event Action/?)

Hello, I’m attempting to send a POST request with the body of type ‘multipart/form-data’.I can’t seem to set this up correctly within a Workflow getting back a 400 status code everytime - does anyone have experience with this, sending through a Workflow or any other method?  I have seen the use of utl_http but I received some other errors when trying that and was hoping I could avoid going down that route. Appreciate any responses, thanks.

Have there been any instances in APP10 where a Mixed Payment transaction, entered under the 'Enter Supplier Payment' type with a payee identity and no invoice, was recorded as a park disbursement payment instead of in the Supplier Ledger?

How do you update Employee Specific rates in JRM?

Hi,We are in the process of implementing IFS and one of the concerns is a way to update (annually) through a migration process, the annual hourly rates of each employee in the organization. Whether it is union agreement driven, or annual merit increase.This would be a tedious task for any HR or payroll employee especially if you had ‘000s of employees.On that note why does IFS have an HCM (HRIS) module that does not calculate hourly rates automatically based on the salary of the employee and their # of hour profile? The push this hourly rate automatically into the JRM module or into the Specific rates for each employee. There needs to also be a migration tool for updating salary information. Henry

Tech Portal Time Reporting for New Work

Dear Community,I hope you're doing well.I have a couple of questions regarding the Tech Portal – New Work, and I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide: When a New Work is created through ‘Report work that I have done’, the following screen prompts me to record the Resource Group (which is mandatory). However, I am unsure where this data is linked or utilized in IEE. Could anyone provide clarification on this? On the same screen, the duration of the work is recorded, but I noticed that there is no time report generated for the completed work. Does anyone know how this is matched, or is there a way to create the time report during the same process, rather than after doing it from completed tile? Option to Modify Tool Entry with IFS Cloud?

Hi Community,In MWO, service Technician have the ability to modify Tool entry in case they make a mistake or they wants to modify their tool entry.In service technician portal, service technician doesn’t  have the ability to do this.We are currently implementing IFS cloud, and I’m curious to know whether service technician have the ability to modify Tool Entry with “IFS cloud”? Thanks Mesh

Synchornization Tasks in Posted state

Hi all,All of our new Synchronization Tasks have been going to Posted state in both Service Engineer and ScanIt apps. The users can’t log in due to sync failing. We have tried restarting the pods, restarting MWS and the DB but with no luck. We have been using these apps for about a year now. We are on Cloud 23.2. Many thanks for any advise.

Cannot login into IFS Business Reporter as a super user with basic authentication

Hi, When I'm trying to login into the Business Reporter using a super user username/password, it doesn't give any login error neither successfully load the reporter having closed the login dialog. When I choose the azure AD login option it says im already login. It seems something wrong with handling authentication code in the BR login dialog when even authentication happens successfully. Not loading after manually closing the login dialog too.Any workaround for this?This is IFS Cloud 24R1   Thanks!/Methshika

Pagero and taxes

We are using managed cloud and integrated the Pagero E-Invoice integration.  We are running into a problem where we are requiring line matching.  The external supplier invoices are creating properly.  Supplier invoices are getting the net and gross amounts off the invoices.  The invoice header net, tax, and gross are correct, but the lines are not getting the proper tax applied.We are having to manually adjust the taxes on every invoice line as it is not calculating the net, tax and gross properly on the lines. Even when manually changing to the correct tax, it back calculates and uses the Net as the gross and calculates back to an incorrect net amount.There is not tax code or % on the invoices to use, so the xml is sending a 0 in the tax line.My guess is this is a combination of settings, but our consultant has been unable to fix.I would like the tax amount on the invoice to calculate based on the % assigned to the address code assigned under our company.

Object Connection Transformation - Standard Operation

Hi all, I am trying to set up a connection between standard operation and shop order operation page. This connection should work for the attached documents. Aparently, there is already a standard connection available, but I can’t make it work. I tried in both IFS10 and Cloud with no result. The expected result would be that when I add a standard operation in a shop order, the document connected to the standard operation, would also be connected to the shop order operation. I was wondering if anyone can help me undestand the how this transformation method works.SHOP_ORD_UTIL_API.TRANSF_SHOP_OP_TO_STANDARD_OP Addtional information:Record is active I tried to use the ‘edit transformation’ option, but I don’t have a connection to standard operation name. I tried editing the transformation manually using contract and description and no luck as well. Description was the only connection that I found, but it doesn’t seem right though.Thank you in advance.

IFS Report Designer - IFS Cloud Connection Problem

Hello,I could not establish the connection between "IFS Report Designer" and "IFS Cloud".First of all, I made the "IAM Client" settings as follows;I also added the security certificate to the "C:\IFS\IFSReportDesigner\certificates" folder;When I wanted to establish a connection with the “IFS Cloud” in the "IFS Report Designer" application;The following web page opens and the "Login successful" message appears on the page;However, when I return to the "IFS Report Designer" application, I receive the following error and I cannot establish the connection;Can anyone help me figure out what I am missing or doing wrong?Thanks.

CO with Int Purchase Direct

Hi,We have a scenerio where Site A registers the customer order for an External Customer (Customer XYZ) and the order is supposed to delivered by Site B. The customer order lines are added with the supply code Int Purchase Dir where supplier and Supply Site is Site B and released. It created a PO for the supply Site. Now, in the Register Direct Delivery window RMB has 3 options 1) Direct Deliver to Customer 2)Direct Delivery with Serial 3) Direct Delivery from Internal Order Transit.Options 1 and 2 are disable in RMB menu, I can only choose option 3 which is “Direct Delivery from Internal Order Transit”. When I click on this option, Its giving a warning message “You cannot register direct delivery until internal supplier delivers materials.When we check register arrivals using the PO number, it does not have such record. How to complete the customer order delivery process?

Spain Localization

IFS CLOUDI would like to know some information related to Spain Localization .1.In our TEST environment, it was possible for me to enable Spain localization and do the necessary mapping for SII and Generate XML, however i have not configured IFS connect for this yet . Does this mean that i can enable the localization without further cost?2.If there are some instruction on enabling transformers to get the Generated file , please provide steps2.Also When i enable this Localization what i'm interested only to use SII but with that one more service get enabled and it shows this is mandotory . Does this mean I have to use that as well. We are currently manually preparing this 347 to 115 . We haven't planned use this functionality right now but later on . can you please if this is mandotory to use it ?3-. To submit SII , should we use third party service to submit this to TAX Authority . is it a must or are there any alternatives

Incoming dispatch advice-Receive a line using REST

Use of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in Project Management

We are an Apps 8 user and already use the Project Management module, including the WBS element.  However, at this time we do not utilise the CBS element and I have struggled to work out how to utilise this alongside the WBS to any real advantage.  Are there any good papers/user guides/experiences out there that might assist?  The on-line Help files aren’t helping much.Thanks!

Can column values be used in URL parameters instead of lobby filters?

Can we use a column value instead of a lobby filter parameter in a URL?For example: ifsapf:tbwCreateVoucher?COMPANY=[COMPANY column value](Note: COMPANY is not a search parameter in my lobby.)  Thank you!
