I have a Global Code that has the code value and description. I want to be able to display both the code value and description. I understand I can have 2 initiative ID fields, 1 display the code value while the other displays the description, but how would the initiative description be written to the database? Is there a way to have a field populated based on a drop down in UI Designer?

Hello,I have a question regarding the use of Item Source and its intended use case. The Wiki currently presents this as a function to be used by ITOM/ITAM to allow for documenting the last audit. However, to actually use this seems unclear to me.Is the intended use solely to act as a registry of audits performed on the item?Such as :Source Reference Source System Last Audit Date Modified By Transaction ID 31234 SCOM 2024-12-31 ZZ_SCOM_IMPORT Transaction ID 41254 SCOM 2025-01-31 ZZ_SCOM_IMPORT  An alternative use case which I’m trying to verify the viability of is the use of “Item Source” as an alternative or extra ETM bonding. The reason for this is the ability to see the bonding from within the assyst application, and to use Last Audit Date as tracker for then the item was updated by an integration, and to be able to track this entirely seperate from the item modify date. The Along the lines of something like this:Source Reference (External id (used as

I have been working for several months to upgrade our databases from 12c to 19c, but I am stuck on a particular issue that I cannot seem to resolve. I chose the manual method (expdp/impdp) as this is what is endorsed by IFS and recommended by the consultants. We get 2500+ errors during the import, most of which, the consultants stated can be ignored as they are 12c objects that are no longer in 19c, however, there are a handful of errors that reference our app owner and I feel they are related:Error during import:dbms_scheduler.enable('"PROCESS_ALL_PENDING"');COMMIT; END;ORA-39083: Object type PROCOBJ:""."RUN_JOB" failed to create with error:ORA-06550: line 8, column 265:PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not existUpon completion of the import phase, then installation of IFS, Batch Queues cannot be “Reinitialized” as they produce the error:"appowner". "RUN_JOB" does not existDatabase processes list is all but empty and if you try to "Reactivate" the ones the do exist, same error:"ap

Hello,Can someone explain the difference between Job Groups, Job Families, Job Categories in terms of functionality please ? Many Thanks

Hi,I’m sorry if this is covered in the wiki, but I could not find the information I was looking for and I’m now unsure if what I’m trying to achieve is even possible and am unsure where to turn next. The practice within our organization is that Problems and RFCs are not to be measured using SLA targets. This practice within our organization is recommended by several other organizations, and our users know these event types are not used to measure performance; however, they report finding it stressful having a visible timer ticking down or displaying in red in the info-zone and on the WorkManager cards leading up to and following a “breach.”It is my understanding that it’s possible to have tickets with no visible SLA clock in the info-zone or WorkManager; however, this then also removes several useful timestamps from being recorded on the record form. Is this correct, or is it possible to remove the visible timer in the info-zone and WorkManager for only some event types, or categories w

Hello community,Do you know if there is a standard functionnality that allows to link an expense sheet to a training event?the expense report shall be approved by the training coordinator (instead of supervisor for other expenses) the cost of the training expenses shall be added to the training cost of the employee.thank you for your help!

I’m using OData with IFS Cloud R23.2. I need to pull a specific DocumentText record related to a specific CustomerInfo record. In QueryDesigner I found that the DocumentText entity is connected to other entities via the DocumentText.NoteId attribute. Via the log console I found the NoteId for the Customer record I was referring to and by using that NoteId I can see the three DocumentText records for that customer. However, I do not see any place in the CustomerInfo where the NoteId is stored. Where can I find the NoteId for a Customer?

Hi AllWe noticed that when a supplier sends an order quotation as a reply to an RFQ, the total price per quotation is not reflected in IFS. e.g. The total of the following 2 lines is not calculated  How big of a development is it, do you think if we are to fetch the Price total per order quotation? Or am I missing something? Next question is the order quotation number sequence. We cannot control it. I was thinking like having a reference to the requisition no. e.g. If the Requisition is 518, the quotation numbers should be 518-1, 518-2, etc Is this possible at all? I know IFS has screens like Coordinator Groups and Enterprise Identities Series which gives me the option to decide the next in sequence. It is missing Order Quotation. Isn't this something IFS needs to develop? Thanks,Asela

Hello All,Currently we are using Astea Alliance Version 14 HF 29. Application is used across 6 countries but now we have requirement from 2 countries that they need checklist with one question and base on answer (Yes/No) we have 2 more question with text. We have implement the checklist for one country. We have mapped contracts for that checklist so that whenever any service order is created using that contract, checklist will be added to activity but now we have request from another country and they also need the same checklist but they want it base on Node. How can we configure it? We don’t have that option in Alliance.

I am trying to call an Action which has a required header parameter. Thought the Action command might fix this (instead of Post), but I get an error when running the script:API Doc: My Script:ApplyJson Into getResult1{}Action PartConfigurationRevisionHandling.svc/ConfigPartSpecRevSet(PartNo={#input.PartNo},SpecRevisionNo=1)/IfsApp.PartConfigurationRevisionHandling.ConfigPartSpecRev_Release Using getResult1 Into actionResult1{} Resulting error:2025-02-07 08:21:26 Application exception error: {"error":{"code":"ODP_MISSING_PRECONDITION","message":"A precondition is missing in the request."}}  POST PartConfigurationRevisionHandling.svc/ConfigPartSpecRevSet(PartNo='TEST1',SpecRevisionNo=1)/IfsApp.PartConfigurationRevisionHandling.ConfigPartSpecRev_Release failed with 428 Any ideas on how to fix this? I can get it to work in Postman by adding the required Header Parameter. But in SAR there is only one Header Parameter available.
