I am getting a “Comparison method violates its general contract” error when running the installer for IFS Developer Studio 18 that prevents it from working:  I obtained the installer from this website: https://developer.ifs.com/tools/devstudioI’ve spent hours trying to get the installer to work, but I have not been successful. I have attached the log file for the installer (please see the attached IFSDeveloperStuidoInstalllFail.txt), and the stack trace for the error begins on line 233. 

I have a Workflow on the TravelExpensesManagerHandling projection.  It is invoked via a button/command.  Whenever I want to undeploy the Workflow to change something, I’ve always deleted the item from the Commandgroup in Page Designer in order to allow the workflow to be undeployed.  As a result, it has to be recreated in Page Designer each time the workflow is redeployed.  Is there a way to just “disable” the command in order to allow it to be undeployed so it doesn’t need to be recreated each time? On 23R2SU10 currently.

Currently, the total of 11 hours is calculated at the standard rate specified in the labor class cost tab.

Hi, I got error when trying to query data from ProjectTransactionsHandling.svc. One of the parameter I want to filter is TransactionSource. Hi all We have a customer using FSM (6.22 build 8362) and PSO (6.10.0.13). Previous to upgrading they could see the group the user was a member of, however it appears that during the upgrade Admin group has been dissociated form the users but weirdly they kept the admin rights. This is the same for viewable datasets, The solution used was to add 'viewAllDataSets' permission to the default set which seems to work. Still, the sudden change without any traceable mention in the change log  is worrying - same applies to Admin groups removal. Is there a known bug that could cause this change during the upgrade ?Thanks for your help Keith

Hi All, What is the easiest way to get ‘additional info’ from the Customer Order to other departments - for example to Shop Orders or to Shipments. The info we are talking about are small remarks from the customer that need to be taken into account when producing or shipping the goods. For example: “Pack in boxes no larger than 50x50x50”. Or: “Truck needs to be loaded from the side”, or “do not use plastic when shipping” - “Courier needs to call delivery contact at least 1h before arrival”. Is there an easy way to communicate such information so it is easily visible and accessible? Best RegardsRoel Timmermans

Knowledge Base article KB0062660 says the issue with the Start Date field not updating PM Actions from PM Action is fixed in 23R2 and later releases. We’re on 23R1 SU16.Does anyone know if the Start Date field on PM Actions is able to update the field on PM Action (reverse of the knowledge base article) and if the format of the field is changed from Text to Date in 23R2 and later?

Hi IFS-experts,I am experience something strange when connecting a resource forecast to a project resource. On the Project Forecast the ETC value is 0 and, on the Resource Forecast the ETC value is also 0. When I make the connection between the Project Forecast and Resource Forecast the ETC value is recalculated to -99.382.My expectation was that it would be the same as the ETC in Resource Forecast and Project Forecast. I am trying to understand how the logic is working in IFS. If someone can enlighten my knowledge about how this should be working, then I would be very glad about that.

Hi friends!When we procured IFS and my account was configured, I was given an IFS Portal User with FTP access that I can connect. Today I see a lot of folders on that FTP server.Having said that, today I’m working with the Data Migration Manager and I see that on the Database folder configuration (for the Legacy Data) there is a combo box giving me the opportunity to indicate one of three possible folders:-EXTFILE_UPLOAD-PAYMENTFILE_OUTPUT-DATA_MIGRATION How are these folders configured and where do they map inside my FTP server?Thanks!

How do you set a default for Supply Code on the Customer Order Line?

I’m trying to create a WF to calculate the InventoryTurnover KPI.I’m executing a call to InventoryTurnoverRateHandling → GetCurrencyAndTurnoverRate. The call executes successfully if I hardcode the numeric params (from/to Period / Year) However if I wanna use the variables that I set in the previous step → ${fromYear} | ${fromPeriod} | ${toYear} | ${toPeriod} I get an error that Int to BigDecimal cast is not possible: When I look in API explorer I see the API call is expecting numbers. Which is what I already provide. Any ideas what I can do to execute the Projection call inside the workflow using variables and not hardcoded values? @dsj 

The customer has installed an SU9 environment and upgraded the database from 14.5 to 15.4SU9. we encounter the following issue, we can’t create service order for exemple or if there is no attachment on an existing service order when we click on attachment we have an error message ‘error system contact your dba” in the event log we have the same type of error : “enable to fin table 0”it’s the first time i see this kind of issue, have you already encounter this ? (as on our own customer environment in Sixaxe everything is working well). thanks for your feedback

When our users complete a No Part Line in a Purchase Order, a pop-up asks for a Cost Cent.  The user has to click in the Cost Cent field, select an item from the drop-down list, Save and then Close.  When there are a lot of line items, this process needs to be followed for each line item.  This is extremely cumbersome when there are a significant number of line items.  Does anyone know of a way of streamlining this process?  For example, is there a way for setting a default Cost Cent (our users typically only use one cost centre)? Can the Cost Cent be populated on the Customer Order line instead of in the pop-up?..

I need to prevent a purchase part on a purchase order from having the revision number changed in register arrivals. We have tested enforcing change orders, but this does not prevent someone in the Register Arrivals stage from changing a part numbers revision. The client requires that a change order must accompany “any” change after a purchase order is released.Outside of an event or several events, is there a way to force any change on a purchase order to go through a change order? 

Has any one sucessfully created a procressflow to automatically allocate jobs or do we have any out of box option within the tool?

Hello, I have created a Power Automate flow and currently I can send an email to the servicedesk which will create a ticket in Assyst but then they need to manually assign the ticket to our queue. I would like to know if anyone has used Power Automate to create a ticket in Assyst and also assign it to a specific queue. If you have experience, I would greatly appreciate exactly what is required to achieve the above. Regards,Amo Sohi

We are using IFSAPP 8. We are getting an error on the user login screen for one user.Username: LJ2Password:1I changed the password and try it again but the result is the same. What could be the reason for this?The message is “You have entered an invalid username and/or password, or you do not have authorization to perform the requested action”.   

Hi, Is there any way to revoke the approved count report performed at count result per count report screen.For example, user has approved certain counted part lines by mistakenly at count result per count report screen and now wants to revoke them back to original status at count result per count report screen itself.So, if there is any workaround or way for this, kindly suggest. Thanks. 

My company uses RMA’s and sometimes,  we receive this product back in to inventory. This is typically a quality step because the decision is made at quality whether or not the goods are damaged and need to be scrapped or if they can be received back in to our inventory. In Aurena Apps 10, we could highlight the line and receive the product on the RMA. There is also a screen called “Receive Authorized Returns” that you can perform this functionality. I have a ticket open at the moment CS0304627 and I’ve been told that going forward in cloud, the receipt will need to be done on Register Arrivals but again, there is still a screen called “Receive Authorized Returns” that only allows scrapping of goods and not receiving…. Please make it make sense. Aurena Apps 10 “Receive Authorized Returns” allows Receiving as the name suggests. Return Material Authorization Line in Apps 10 UPD 18 allows ReceivingCloud 24R1, no option to receive product on the “Receive” Authorized Returns screen No Option

Dear Community, We would like to build some integration, and I started to investigate the possibilities. I saw we can call REST APIs from Event actions, so I tried it.My test is very simple, I would like to create a PO header in test IFS if someone create a PO in an other IFS test instance. I have this event action: Body:  But I got this error in Application messages:  I googled it and also looked around in the community, but I only found this articleCall REST API from event action with Bearer Authentication | IFS Community When I tried the same call from Postman, it worked without any issues.Do you have any idea what I might be missing? We are on IFS Apps 10 UPD21. Thank you very much in advance for all ideas and thoughts!Kind regards, Balazs
