Hi,
I want to create a Purchase Order Line directly in status Planned.
But when I create a PO Line, it gets status Released by default.

How can I configure or control the PO Line to be in Planned status when it's created?
Is it possible?

Hi @InfTomaPr,

Planned status is not possible for the Purchase Order line, and no configuration or control is available to enable it.

Anyway, why do you want Planned status for the PO line?

Hi @InfTomaPr ,

I agree with previous answer from Abdul. There is no basic setup to set the Purchase Order Line to Planned state at its creation.

Furthermore, you may refer below documentation page for explanations about Purchase Order Line states and additional information related to Purchase Order Line.

Hi @InfTomaPr,

As our colleagues already mentioned, no Planned status is available on the Purchase Order line level. Not only that even for Customer Order Line.

When you create a Purchase Order with a line, it is considered a supply for that part. Check the IPAP page. So, the order line ‘Released’ status resembles that it is dispatched to the supplier. Now, your purchase order header has been automatically assigned to Planned status. You can either release, directly confirm, or confirm with differences (you might have spoken with the supplier over the phone)

Piyal
