This issue happens rarely but when it does it un-explainable. The part list price is in the part record the part list price is also in the part pricing rule that generates however, on the request it doesnt trigger anything the first screenshot shows part pricing triggering successfully. you can see the price rule sequence   The one with the issue isnt pulling it at all    

Hi, I am trying to install CrystalWebService_64bit setup  for using Crystal Report after configure IIS 10 on Windows Server 2016 (1607) OS Build 14393.3564, but it’s not allow to install setup for Virtual Directory on IIS.  

It is possible to create an external link to a document folder, e.g. https://<landing_page_url>/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application?url=ifsapf%3AfrmFolderInfo%3Faction%3Dget%26key1%3D1234567%26COMPANY%3D1 That link will open the Document Folder Navigator with the selected folder (key1=1234567) as root folder. The Folder Details to the right is showing the information for that particular folder. My question: Is it possible to get a link to a folder that selects one of the subfolders in the shown folder tree to the left and shows the information for that subfolder in the Folder Details to the right?

It is possible to create an external link to an engineering part, e.g. https://<landing_page_url>/client/runtime/Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application?url=ifsapf%3AfrmEngineeringPart%3Faction%3Dget%26key1%3D12345678%255E1.0%26COMPANY%3D1 That link will open the Engineering Part Navigator with the selected part (12345678) with the specified engineering revision (1.0). My question: Is it possible to create a link to a selected Engineering Part at the latest revision? And maybe also to the latest released revision? For documents it is possible, but what about engineering parts?

We’re seeing 2 emails being sent to customers for every customer invoice that is printed using the Bulk Print Customer Invoice mechanism, in Apps10 UPD5. Each email has an invoice PDF attached with identical content but each file has a separate filename (e.g. Invoice_0001.pdf and Invoice_0004.pdf).  This makes sense as to why 2 emails are being sent since it looks like 2 PDF files are being created for every invoice. So the question is why is it generating 2 PDF files for each invoice when printing invoices using the Batch Print Customer Invoices screen?   Any ideas or has anyone out there seen similar? We were originally using the Print/Send option but even with Print Only it still generates 2 PDFs and therefore 2 emails.

I think I see where IFS will automatically attach Document Text to customer orders, based on the Customer setup, but I have been unsuccessful in making it work.  I’m hoping I am missing a step & it is possible.  I am looking for direction on how to make this work.   I am in the Customer > Order tab > Misc Order Info tab There is a Document Text box there that reads like it should insert the Doc Text on any newly created orders.  My efforts have failed.   Can anyone assist? Luke  

Is there any guide to install and manage statspacks on a customer environment to retrieve the performance information?

I have an IAL that I want to duplicate in another IFS system. I do not have access to the original source.  Does anyone have suggestions how I can extract the IAL and copy it to my other IFS system? Both are IFS8 running Oracle 12c.

Hi All,   Seems quick report SQL does not allow DBMS_RANDOM.VALUE. Error Message: Forbidden PLSQL code rejected: "DBMS_RANDOM" FNDSQLFORBIDDEN: Forbidden PLSQL code rejected: "DBMS_RANDOM"   Is there an alternate to get a random value in a quick report?   Cheers!

Dear All,   I have created DOP header from customer order. I closed all the supplies generated from DOP. Now when I am checking Part Qty Delivered in Demand tab of DOP header, it is showing as 5 although I have not delivered in customer order . Why in DOP header is coming is part Qty delivered as 5. It should be 0 as per my understanding since Customer Order has not been delivered yet.   Thanks! BR Cheers to IFS

We are trialling Time Clock from this weekend.  Our setup is:  IFS Applications 10 UPD 7. Time Clock setup with 3 buttons - In, Out and Reset. And a barcode scanner that scans the card   Is there a way to setup Time Clock where we don’t have to click on In or Out etc., and just swipe the id card barcode?    

Hi All We applied Update 15 and 16 to our Live APPS v9 environment this past weekend. Our users have reported that when they attempt to attach a Document (in this case a PDF, but does the same for all) to a Customer Order (and possibly other records), they receive the following error: This was not the case before applying the latest updates. Checking the defined extensions, all looks fine:   Has anyone else seen this issue after applying the recent updates? The issue is also in out Test instance, but we clearly missed this one from our testing! Regards Mike

I am trying to create XML business rule that exececutes on the Creation of a request the business rule is expected to insert a a new line in a custom table for the most part it is working. but in one of the fields it need to combine the Place id with some text and im not sure how i would go about doing that the line question is the charge_code i would like it to insert S-22222-M where 22222 is the place id.   I tried the below but it populates exactly what is seen below if i put spaces around the @place_id it does populate the field with the 22222 but it also has a space on either side of the place_id. I have a bar graph with currency as the data points but it keeps coming up with 5 decimal places for the formatt.  Is there a way to make it have 0 decimal places.  I have the column in the data element set to currency already.

In FSM application, under File menu we have a sub menu named “SETUP WIZARD”, can anyone tell me what is the use of that and how to setup the wizard??
