I would like to perform an action in one custom menu and then move to another window.A simple but not user-friendly solution is to create two custom menus:First: action type: “PL / SQL Block” - execute code (create a new row in the table), Second: action type: “Create window with transfer” - go to window.Is it possible to switch to another window in the “PL / SQL block” (run procedure / function)?

Hello, Can anyone tell me what’s presentation object name (Form name) of Report Archive Screen? Actually I am trying to find out who has access to this screen from permission screen? But I can’t see any thing in debug console for this, also not in System Info Tab at bottom.     Thank you.

We have a number of shop floor based employees who are not users and register to shop orders via the Shop floor Workbench, which adds a labour clocking to the shop order operation, this clocking can also be viewed in shop floor clocking’s, time registration and time card day MFG Clocking’s screens. Why is it then that when the Shop Order button in time registration screen is used to register the time against a shop order operation this transaction is not also visible (created) in the other views, what is the point of the Shop Order button in time registration?   Apps 8

Occasionally, there may be a need to cease using and existing supplier; even when there happens to be open POs on them. We are looking to stop a valid supplier from being used for further procurement. Some sort of “status flag”. We have both Purchasing and Finance (AP). We may also need to report on “current inactive suppliers”. Can anyone explain where to complete this activity, please?   Thanks very much.  

Could it be, that Client Script Sql in FSM does not work yet? I can not get it up and running and there is no documentation for it.  

Why not IFS gives popup message that account has been locked. In IFS8, 9 we get the pop up that account has been locked after a set up incorrect credtional was input by user but in IFS V10 we never receive such messages that account has been locked instead it will give incorrect credentials but the user accounts is locked when we check in oracle profile. Why not IFS provide to view the password input by user.... Alot of time we end up entering wrong password due keyboard issue but don't know what we have inputed. 

We have a question on Oracle version support for FSM 6. As, the mainstream support for the Oracle databases 12.1 was already ended in July 2018; and the extended support will be until Jun 2021. we currently use 12.1.0.2. Hence, we need to know by when IFS is planning to support the newer Oracle versions for FSM 6? As the latest available oracle versions are 12.2.0.2 (18c) and 12.2.0.3 (19c); and 19c is highly recommended by Oracle and due to longer support. Hence, would want to know when these will be compatible with FSM 6.

We have observed IFS Field Service using unsecure functions on android. The mobile application is using com.aviary.android.feather.common.utils.IOUtils.unzipEntry in an unsecure way. See https://support.google.com/faqs/answer/9294009 for specs on how to fix the issue. We are using FSM 5.7. update 6. Do you have any idea if this has been looked in already?

Dear All, When we go to “Work Order Structure” in IEE, on “WO Details” tab we can see the work task summary on right hand. (Check Attachment)When I am checking the same in Aurena, I could not find this “Work Task Summary” in either “Work Order Structure Navigator” screen or in “Work Order Structure Analysis” screen.Please confirm if we have any other screen in Aurena or this functionality has been removed in Aurena. Thanks in advance! BRHA

I’ve never tried creating conditional formatting based off of a null/blank date field before and nothing I seem to try works. The docs say you can use the same conditions as you do in search, so I tried !%. Ironically % works for identifying records with dates.  I’ve tried <>%, = and <1/1/1 with no affect. Tried just <> to a date range, as you enter it you get ‘Your query can not be compiled’ Any ideas/solutions?   Thanks, Lane

We have multiple sites reporting this issue today after 12am - has anyone else seen this and know what might be causing it/how to fix it? (see attached)Error message will now allow user to save in Production Schedule by Line with information message pop-up: “The field [Schedule Firm?] has a value that is not in the list of approved values”We have not had any system changes in the last 12 hours that would cause this, that we are aware of.

We noticed that special characters (Eg Swedish ÅÖÄ) are garbaged when deploy via IFS installer file executor. This happens to be due to the UTF-8 file encoding and it works fine when the file encoding is changed to ANSI (can test with attached script). Has anyone encountered the same issue and found a smart way to get over it rather than changing file encoding? Version: Apps10 UPD 6   Cheers!

We have some parts whose previous months usage is calculated on the first or second day of each month.  How can an issue be done and dated in the previous month for purposes of cost reporting and the General ledger?   Thanks

Does anyone know how to make a parameter mandatory? By default they are all optional. Also, is there a way to set a default value for a parameter? Lastly, is there IFS documentation or a manual on details like this? I’ve seen IFS pages that have general  info, but nothing on technical details like the above or what else is doable/possible. As we start to develop our company’s custom reports I’m getting ideas and would like to know the capabilities and what’s possible with QuickReports.

We have purchased the SSRS module for Apps10. We have not been able to get it installed correctly. Unfortunately, the documentation in IFS help is for Apps9 and it is different. Does anyone have current Apps10 technical documentation for Apps10? We are on UPD2 planning to update to UPD6.

How do we activate IFS talk as Streams Notifications? We don’t have IFS talk as the sevent option in Our IFS10 environment

Hi We understand a view ending in _CFV is a custom field view used when we’ve customised a screen or table. However we see views with uiv_cfv.  Does anyone know the difference and what these views are for? A quick look of the construct of the view doesnt show any obvious differences. Regards Shaun

We have a customer in IFS Applications 9 and they use IFS Time Clock. Their existing cards start character is 2 and now they have some new cards as has the start character 3. In “Employee Card Parameters” they have 2 in the field “Card parameters: Start Characters”. How to set up the parameters, for them to use both their old cards as their new ones. We are currently running Apps 9.  We have received updated bank information from a supplier (which is paid via ACH).  The original bank information was entered using Address ID 1.  The updated information was entered using Address ID 2 and is marked default.  When we generate the payment information, IFS is pulling in the old bank information (using Address ID 1) rather than the default bank information (Address ID 2).  Has anyone else run into this?

Hello, do you know, what is right location of CrystalReport Layout file (*.rpt) in harvest? If is need to copy it to right folder structure on App Server and respect language mutation. I found some in <module>/client/runtime, but it’s weird location. I expected them in manualInstallation folder. Do Delivery builder automatically copy it from some location to manualDeploy folder? I am struggeling with creating custom fields on this page. When I enter the overview for custom fields I can see my custom fields but they are not visible to add on the tbw. I have reloaded the configuration and restarted EE but only Menu-items can be used on tbwRepresentativeCustomer and no custom fields. I have seen this behavior on other pages as well so is there any limitation on where we can see custom fields or is this a bug?    

In IFS 10 FAP17 Posting Control not avaible, could you please please suggest another way. In IFS 8 it is available.
