We recently began utilizing IFS from a manufacturing stand point.  We have run into our first scenario where a customer is providing a Sub Component for the Shop Order to be included.  Does anyone have a good process for this?     Thank You

Hi all, I have a key_ref: KEY_REF:= ‘BOM_TYPE_DB=M^CONTRACT=1^PART_NO=15000^ROUTING_REVISION=2^’ I would like to replace some of the values. E.g. ROUTING_REVISION=3 I was expecting to be able to do this: client_sys.Set_Key_Reference(KEY_REF, 'ROUTING_REVISION','3'); but the function does not exists.   What is the easiest way doing this?

In Apps 10, how do I modify a Work Task Transaction Date?  In Apps 9 we had the ability to Modify Date Applied from the Maintenance Postings Analysis.  In Apps 10, I don’t see that option from the Work Task Posting Analysis

Baseline a Project - Activity and Subproject Level I though IFS 10 gave us the capability to BASELINE planned hours/cost on a project at both the subproject and activity level. Is that not the case? We can only seem to do it at the project level.

In apps 10 can you turn off the requirement for a Project to have a stated delivery address when linked to a Purchase order? Currently when a PO is linked to a project, the PO displays and error which can only be resolved by entering a delivery address into the project. T seems the PO delivery address does not suffice. Can this mandatory requirement be disconnected?

I have this problem with implementing a business case. The case I have is as follows. In task_steps I have filled in a quantity (lets call it x) in user_def_num1 for step_id =66 This task_steps record with a quantity needs to be processed by the business rules and add a non_part_usage record.  My business rule needs to output the quantity if it is higher then 25 and then create the non_part_usage record with a quantity of x - 25.  I am trying to do this with an XML business rule, but I am aware that I need to use some expression. I only do not know how to do that. This is my code which needs to insert the record. As you can see I fetch the quantity with an xpath_node from an hierarchy_select result called ‘result01’. Hi  i’m having some issues with report rules i have brought over from an Apps 8 environment.  the rules are based on the report ID - CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP   error log im seeing is  Rule ID=10 ORA-31011:ERROR Evaluating Expression=''[@CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP\CUSTOMER_NO]'' result_key=132038formatter_properties=LocaleCountryUS   any assistance would be greatly appreciated    thanks    Nick 

if the shop order has operation of assemly. how to determin the assembly work hours? we tried to input the work hours in the collum of “labor factor”, the start date is not calculate with it. but the lead time can calculate based on labor factor(when we set it up in “lead time calculation basis”). Dont you think it is a conflict? what would you suggest to build up a shop order with only assembly operations? thanks!

Is it possible to open up the Call Center New Case Assistant from a Business Activity?  Possibly through a RMB event?  I know I can transfer to a case, but since the Assistant is a Pop up Window, I don’t know if it is possible.  If I can, is there a way to capture that Case Number on the Activity?  

I am trying to add a Valid To customer Field in Sales Price List. The standard field ‘Valid From’ and customer field ‘Valid to’ will be used to validate a sales price list. If the validity is expired or invalid the event will trigger on sales quotation line and prompt an error that the sales price list is not valid.  I have successfully created the custom field.  The event works on LU which is selected , in this case it will be Sales Quotation but the question is how will i compare ‘Valid from and Valid to’ from sales price list and prompt an error.

How can i add a default value for the Custom Field. I have created a custom field (type DATE) and i can see there is a default value column in this custom field details, how do i add a default value to it. Help would be appreciated.

How to connect objects to mobile user in Aurena Native apps?

Hi, We have developed new permission sets from scratch and users are unable to RMB->Transfer to Mobile off the Report in Route screen but they can transfer WOs from Report in Work Order I have run debug and the permission set has access to the screen and underlying database view. Anyone know what we are missing here to enable this option!? Thanks in advance

Hi, Facing an issue while deleting one of Currency revaluation account which is used in previous month revaluation. If we rolled back all the currency revaluation transactions and then delete the transaction line and then delete any account from currency revaluations accounts screen it will allow to delete but this is not the good solution.  In IFS V10 UPD it throws error can not be deleted as it used in table, we did not have any such issue in IFS 8.   Ideally it should allow you to delete the account from currency revaluation account screen if we don't want certain account to revalued from crentain period then system not stop at all e.g loan account etc.   Regards, Mukesh Gupta

Hello, In the Scope Tool there is an aspect in the Resource Planning area (IFS10). One of the screens is to issue equipment to an employee. The name is frmEmployeeEquipmentCard  Does anyone know from which module this screen is a part? How to access it (so which path to follow)? Regards, Steve
