We have a list of IFS document names in Sharepoint.  Each document name has a link to IFS, which then opens the document.  The link works when the user’s browser is Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.  It fails when the user’s default browser is Chrome, Mozilla, Firefox, etc.  That’s because the link must first open IFS 10 (which it can’t do) before IFS can open it for viewing.  Requiring all our users to set their default browser to either IE or Edge is NOT an option.How do I force a document link to open with a specific browser?  For example, if the user has Chrome as the default browser, how do I force the link to open IFS 10 in Microsoft Edge? 

I tried to set a newly created Lobby as a homepage for a base profile.  I thought i got it to work, however when the end users log in, they get the following error message.  I think it is because the Lobby is set to my personal data rather than generic for all.  The steps i took to do this:Go to Options and chose the User Profile. Then clicked edit base profile and chose our Quality base profile.  Then with that base profile active in my screen, i searched for the Quality Lobby and opened the page.  Clicked on Options>General and clicked Use current to make that Lobby the home pageWhat am i doing wrong/missing?

In the online help for Correction invoice it shows that it’s possible to hide lines with negative value by clearing the check box Show credit lines for correction invoice in the invoice line properties View Credit Lines tab. But where is this tab? We can’t find this check box.

Hi,How can we close a PO (RMB on PO header/line) on the follow example:PO with 1 line with milestones (staged payment). Milestones total amount 100€. Approved and invoiced amount 40€.Now without approving, neither reducing the PO line amount through a Change Order, how can we close the PO?Thanks

We have UPS WorldShip connected to our database and are retrieving many fields, which is great! …but we currently store our customers account numbers in document text, and I would like to start storing it by customer address number. Is anyone doing this, and where are you storing the account number? We are on Apps 9.

We could populate an object in a form window (e.g. Customer Order), and use Send To > Mail Recipient as Link to create an external URL for an single object. We could also select multiple objects in a table window and perform Send To > Mail Recipient as Link as shown below. How do I send multiple objects in a form window? For example, how to I have two customer orders to populate in Customer Order window by clicking an external link?

We have successfully deployed and populated the IFS Business Analysis Package OLAP cubes for IFS Apps 9 in a test environment. I found the Measures deployed within the Sales cube, which are based on the SUM aggregation, are not populating. However, I have confirmed there are Measures based on the SUM aggregation functioning correctly within the Manufacturing cube.There is data within the Sales-related Data Mart SQL tables as well. I did try changing the data types on the SQL Data Mart table and in the Cube via Visual Studio, neither of which worked.Has anyone else experience issues like this with the IFS OLAP cubes? Basically, there is data within the SQL tables but the Cube measures are not aggregating the SUM in the Sales OLAP cube.

We have different manufacturing companies in IFS that are individual legal entities. Companies have Intercompany relations with intersite Order flow handled with MHS messages. Ordering companies order with purchase orders at supplying companies, that sell with customer order. Companies are located on different continents. Transport is done via sea freight with transport lead times from 6 to 10 weeks.For the finance consolidation at year end, we face an issue, that components shipped before year end, that are still in transit at year end, are missing in inventory value for the group. At time of shipment,  customer order is delivered and immediately invoiced. Delivery note is sent with MHS dispatch advice. That means, Supplying company does not have the inventory value anymore. Ordering company has not yet received the purchase order. Therefore, components are not in their inventory value.What is the correct process or setup to handle this scenario from finance perspective and still foll

I would like to get a list of all the permission sets that have been assigned to a user, whether directly or indirectly. I can currently get a list of the directly linked permissions but we have some permission sets that are made up of other permissions. e.g.  If a user has been assigned this permission I can see:User: BLOGGSFND_ROLE: BA_BARS_ADMIN What I would like to see is:User: BLOGGSFND_ROLE: BA_BARS_ADMINFND_ROLE: FND_RUNTIME Is this possible? 

I have 1 lobby element that is not refreshing when I switch from one site to the other.  If I refresh the screen it will refresh, just won’t when I change my site.  I have multiple others in the same Lobby that do refresh, just not sure why this one does not.  When I go to change the site on the drop down at the top, most elements get the refresh circle set, this one does not.  Not sure what to look for, any idea/helpful hints?  Apps 10 UPD5 in IEEE

Hi! Have any one have any input how to solve automated user creation? I know there's is the AD sync, but haven't tried this yet, how is for example the HR Module solved? Thinking of when users move between departments or roles, also if there are any input on the Maintenance side work order reassignment? We are in the O&G and offshore personnel are changing position very often.All this in Apps10/Karl

When a Calendar Generated PM Action generates a Work Order, how does IFS calculate the latest finish date?  What is the IFS logic?

Hello All, We are an IFS Apps 10 customer, and we are in the middle of our implementation. We have run into an issue with regard to the Estimating module. The issue we are facing is creating an estimate for a part that has operation steps at multiple sites. We may have a part that has an operation step in one facility, and it is then shipped to another facility for additional manufacturing. We have been unable to build this estimate, as the module seems to require you to use the same site for all parts in the estimate. I believe we may be setting the estimate up incorrectly, but I am not sure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! 

Is it possible to use both Single-sign on and Database Authentication at the same time for a user?If I look at the screenshot below I would expect I’m able to login via both SSO and Database Authentication. This is however not working. 

HiWe would like to have all users to logon to EE without first start application with shift and there enable SSO. Did try to find if there is a reg or file written, but no luck.Anyone know where this SSO settings resides on the local client ?/Karl
