I’m trying to generate a Service Quotation for a Work order created from a Component Repair Order (APPS10) and I’m not able to do that, menu option is greyed. Is it possible? IS there any specific configuration that allows it?

Hi,
Kinldy note that this is standard functionality of the application because allowing to create a Service quotation through a Component Repair (CRO) Work Order is making the flow backwards and a CRO needs be invoiced via a CRO itself. Hence creating a Service quotation for a CRO is blocked due to the standard functionality.
This has been implemented from Update 2.

Thank you for your response, Thilini. I don’t want to create de Service Quotation directly from CRO but from Work order generated for this CRO. Nor is it possible to do it?

I’m afraid No. This is not possible for CRO work orders, starting from App 10 Update 2 onwards. Reason is the same as mentioned above.
