Hi,

 

How can I customize label dimentions and font setting for shipment label?

Hi @Ozge ,

 

In order to modify the layout of the built-in reports you will need to install the IFS Report Designer tool which is what you’ll use to modify the layout of an existing report.  We used IFS Report Designer to change the “Shipment_Handling_Unit_Label” to make it a 4” x 6” label and we only printed the information we were interested in seeing on the label.

 

We did purchase from IFS the built-in reports source to allow us to update them.  You always want to make a backup copy of the report before modifying it.   We keep all the reports under source control so we can always revert backwards if we run into any issue.

    I am using IFS10. One of our client has demanded to rearrange dimentions of label that printed for shipment. How can I rearrange it?

    Thank you for your reply.

    seems you are referring lable printing from shipment.

    if you want to change the output of the report (ex: changing the dimensions of some fields in the report ) then you have to change the report layout.

    when designing layout,you can set/change the required dimensions of fields,fonts,ect.
