NewRelic was set up by our Hosting team to run specific scripts against the environment it is deployed to check various functionalities - login, DC availability, etc.

It uses a normal login process to obtain a Session ID just like any other user.  Most times, NewRelic is configured to login as bu_Monitor however for the customer we have been dealing with it is be_Monitor.

Looking at the database of that customer, I do not see that be_Monitor is currently logged in but do see a history of login/logouts in the c_session_log table which to me indicates it is logging out after it completes it work.
