Hi,As many of you, I faced the mutating table issue when doing custom events. I wondered if and how the new BPA would be a solution. Asynchonous continuations options hereunder seem to offer possibilities, but first wanted to hear from insiders of BPA and mutating tables.

I am trying to change the data source of a BIRT report (e.g. rptdesign file used by assyst Report Wizard) from our on premise database to the cloud Saas Database, I was using Database URL “jdbc:sqlserver://W-99999-D5E:1523;databaseName=PDRPSQGCG;”and the connection was working fine.But now I was told to use “jdbc:sqlserver://cac-99301-axios.secondary.database.windows.net:1433;database=99301;” as an example but it fails the connection. I tried various combinations but still no success.IFS Support was not able to help other than we were able to test the connection tot he database using SSMS so all indication points to the BIST data source to be incorrectly specified.Does anyone have the proper info to setup the the connection?

We ship/deliver both inventory and non-inventory parts on the same order.  If we reserve a non-inventory part, is there a way to unreserve it?  We seem to be able to unreserve the inventory part, but not the non-inventory parts.

I am trying to create an external search. The structure of the External Link is straightforward. However, The second search parameter does not work. I could not understand. What am I missing? In the first link, it searches just for BUYER_CODE not search for CURRENCY_CODE. In the second link, it searches just for CURRENCY_CODE not search for BUYER_CODE. Consider the following example: Yes, I know I can use Find to filter on more attributes than are displayed here, but if I would like to see the Document Title in the LOV pulldown (instead of Description1 which is displayed by default) could I achieve this through Page Designer or would that require a modification?

Apps10 UPD12For a customer order line for which the Sales UoM = kg and the Customer ‘s UoM = lb, what controls the number of decimal places displayed for the Customer Sales Qty? In the order lines below, why is the Customer Sales Qty showing up to 25 decimal places? Is there any way possible to limit this to 1 decimal place?The Qty Calc Rounding for the inventory part connected to the sales part = 1.In the Sales Part Cross Reference, the Sales UoM = kg, the Conv Factor = 0.45359, the Invert Conv Factor = 1, and the Customer’s UoM = lb. 

Hello All,  APPS10  I would like a HR employee to be able to modify all other employees in their site absence records, and time clock registration records, however I would not like them to be able to modify their own time/absence records.  How do you exclude their own employee information when granting access with HR Access Roles?  Thanks. 

When you are in work task template there are two fields available that both are called “Created by” and gives different search results. When using advanced search i can see that one is connected to “CreatedById” and one to “DoneBy”. This makes me confused since i cant find information about “DoneBy”. I think this is difficult to understand and very confusing for customers.1. Using search condition “created By” that is connected to CreatedById2. Using search condition “created By” that is connected to DoneBy 

We created a composite field, analogous to the baseline address.full_address field. A document revision is prepared. Once done, the actual document is connected to the IFS administrative part of the document. The document has been checked in. Status is preliminary. Up until now standard behavior. Document that is checked in, can be viewed. The document is stored in a FTP location using standard IFS settings (IFS9).Now that everyonne has seen the document, we want to set the status from Preliminary to Approved. RMB is used to set the status and then the following error message appears:I've used coding to determine the origin and it reveals that in DOC_ISSUE_API for an FTP stored file a check is done on the size of the file via Plsqlap_Server_API. Further into the details the actual error is a certificate problem.The FTP server has no certificates installed.See also:  My question: in the setup of haveing an IFS application server and a FTP server are there anymore servers in between? Why does the system come back with a missing/non valid certificate while there has not

When a document is ready to be approved, one opens the document revision in IEE and uses RMB to Status > Approve the following message appears:Login of and on as a different user. Same error pops up.Created another document revision. Attached no document, just processed with Status > Approve. No problems.Problem occurs with other document revisions. For the doc revision shown, a pdf document is connected. I viewed the pdf, used save as. Created a new document revision (from scratch). Checked the pdf just saved in. Status is now Preliminary, File Status: Checked In.Same error message appears. Debug reveals the following:Looking into DOC_ISSUE_API, I learn that the file size is retrieved using:Plsqlap_Record_API.Get_Value(activity_rec_, 'FILE_SIZE'); in which activity_rec_ document class, document and other parameters are passed.This is going into a lot of details.Anybody seen something like this? I will keep digging.

Why I cannot see any field in my search window?The active view and the attribute I have selected are both related to Custom Logical Unit. But I have other attributes similar that work well on this custom view, and i don’t see what is special for them in the settings…  For reference, the attribute just above works well with the search window.

The header on the PLACE screen in FSM 6u19 allows changing to a different label expression, but when the label result is longer than about half the screen, it is truncated.Our configured screen has only one visible button in the header (Save), so there is still lots of room left over to the right side.Example of how it displays on screenAs a guess, I have tried inserting a <label_percent> tag in the screen XML <header_def>, by analogy to the <column_def>, but then FSM automatically removes that tag upon saving. Directly entering a width for the whole panel doesn’t affect the fraction of space given to the label versus the buttons. Is there a way to increase the horizontal percentage of this label?
