Object connection transformation for Technical Class

HI,

Whether the Object connection Transformation is supported for Technical Class in IFS Cloud.

 

if not any workaround is possible??

 

Appreciate any tips on this.

Hi,

Object Connection Transformation is supported only for Document and Media. 

However, there are several places in IFS Application where the technical Class is being transferred.  For example,

  • Object Type to Equipment Object (New Object is created)
  • Linear Asset to Linear Segment (New Segment is created)
  • Design Object to Equipment Object (Design Object is set to Completed)

These instances are handled by a Check & Copy method in the logic. I hope this would help.
