Hi,

As we tested, for Data Migration Tool - Repliation procedure

21R1 - exist

21R2 - NOTexist

22R1 - NOT exist

22R2 - exist (again)

To be honest , we pretty confused with this Roadmap,

so, can we use this feature in 22R2 , what if we Release Update to 23R1 , will it still be there?

@Shou

Hi Shou,

Currently there is no replication available within IFS Cloud. No 'big' replication tool and also not within FndMig.

Within 21R1 the procedure for REPLICATION was available in FndMig (in the drop-down) but you were not able to create/modify a replication job.

It is planned for a future release but we don't know when and how the solution will be then.

When you are doing an upgrade from e.g. Apps10 to IFS Cloud and you had replication jobs then these will work within IFS Cloud because the database triggers which were created by FndMig will also be copied to IFS Cloud (database dump). But as a user you don't have the possibility to change this.

This can explain why in some environments you see the replication and not in the others.

@Salwa Fahi

Thanks for your answer.

Just one question, from IFS 22R2 offical Doc

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/030_administration/050_data_management/050_data_migration/030_migration_types/040_internal_replication/

Replication is a vaild function.

So, is the documention wrong?
