Aurena agent will not enable in Edge browser but does in Chrom

We are running into an issue where the aurena agent will not enable in the Edge browser but it does in Chrome.

Note: we are on 23R1.4

We have the agent installed on users computers and we have the aurena extension enabled. If the user is utilizing Chrome as the browser, it will show enabled but if they use Edge, it will not.

Extension is enabled - have toggled this off and back on - no changes

User settings shows aurena agent not enabled

 

Aurena Agent is installed on computer - have tried to uninstall and reinstall with no change

 

Since there isn’t an Edge extension for aurena agent, we had to get it from the Chrome store and apply to Edge

 

Note: browser settings are managed by the company but the network team has not found any reasons that this would not work. 

Are there setting that we may be missing?

Has anyone run into this before? 

Weird that it works in Chrome and not Edge (Edge is the company default browser)

Thank you for the reply - I had reviewed that post already. It is relating to enabling the extension in Edge which we have already done.  Screenshot included in the original post.  Thanks!

Update: we have found that the issue was due to a security setting that was disabled in our GPO which as a result, did not permit the Aurena extension in Edge to communicate with the Aurena Agent on the computer.  It was “Allow user-level native messaging hosts (installed without admin permissions”.  To correct, we needed to enable that setting.
