Hi

Within an ETM datamapper, is it possible to have returned the number of records that are found when a variable assyst search or record selection is done into a variable, please?

I need to know how many active item relation records there are against an item so that I can set a flag on the item record.

Thanks

if I have a variable assyst search name ‘items’ then I can reference the items found in a subsequent field as variables.items. This is a JS array - so you can use  variables.items.length to find out how many matching items were found.

Hi Paul

Yes, of course!  Thank you.  I’ve tried and have something to work with now.

Many thanks
