Hi Firdosh,
Please confirm which exact iPhone model, iOS version and also which Mobile client version you are using?
Was the permission granted to Mobile application to use the camera after the install?
When you first run after installation and login, there are questions from Alliance whether you want to use biometric logins and then iOS asks if you wish to use Face ID. Were these answered affirmatively?
If you go to Settings in Mobile Edge, My Profile, there is a toggle for Biometric Login Enabled which should be turned on. (At least in Mobile Edge 15.4.12.0).
If you go to iOS settings, search for Astea Mobile, there is a setting for Face ID, is this enabled?
Hello @Phil Seifert ,
Good Morning.
Hope you’re doing well.
We are using Astea Mobile version 15.3.1.0 2.
Below are the list of iPhone model, iOS version.
Phone: iPhone 12.
Ver: iOS 17.5.1.
Phone: iPhone 13.
Ver. iOS 17.5.1.
and also user has confirmed that they have provided the permission granted to Astea Mobile application to use the camera after the installation.
Hi Firdosh,
I tested on iOS 17.5.1 on Mobile Build V15.4.12.0 and I was unable to recreate the issue.
If you go to Settings and then My Profile on the mobile device, do you see the Biometric Login Enabled toggle displayed there? Can you try enabling it on that screen (you should get an Alert popup that tells you the setup was successful at this point in time) and then log out of the application and log back in again?
If that still doesn’t work...if you re-initialize the app and select the English (US) language layer and run another test...does the biometric login work at that time? (Just want to rule out the possibility that it’s related to the Portuguese language layer custom work that was done).
Thanks,
Reid
