Adding Permissions

Hello,

 

should I allow some permissions while adding some CF in entity? Because I want to add a new button in commandgroups in entity Stock items in stock, but there are no button and when I add some, it dont display.

The buttons are context-sensitive, so you need to select one or multiple rows for the buttons to show up. You can only add buttons here…

...not near the Search button (this would be out of context).

Hi @Ed22 , if you create a custom field on an entity you will still have to manually add it to the page(s) where it needs to be presented.

You can do this by navigating to the page, go to your account at the top right and press page designer. This will open the page designer where you can add the custom field.

If it still doesn’t work, please clarify whether you want to add custom fields or custom buttons (ideally with screenshots).

Scrap, rellocatoon, availabilty...if they are buttons why cant I see them?

Firstly, this is a preview of 24R2. :-)

Secondly, have a look at the details of the command. Very often they are conditionally enabled. It may be your permission, it might be something on the record e.g., the current status.

But I still dont know why cant see them, should I update something in enabled or grants? Can I add button whethever I want, for example near search button?
