Signature added in Back-office in Service Order

Hi, in a service order, in the back-office application, we can add a digital signature. The signature is then attached to the SV.

But the attachement type is “image”, not “signature” like when signature comes from mobility (only classification1 is “signature”)  Is this normal ?

Hi Philippe,

This is normal and there is no documentation stating that it should do anything other than attach the signature as an attachment to the service order.  In other words, it is not added to to the service order report like it is from mobile with a specific macro call.

From the FS-02 - Service Orders (Change Management).pdf:

The result as I am sure you have seen will be an attachment such as the one below (I redacted the attached by information)

As there is no additional functionality behind this capture the signature at this point, it is working as designed and any changes would require a BRD for a billable change request.
