Hi,I tried to build a link to another window within a column in a Quick Report, so that after running the report, the link would be clickable (highlighted) in the browser. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to achieve this, as it seems that the data in Quick Reports is always displayed as plain text.Has anyone managed to get this working?For example, imagine we have a report with customer orders, and the last column contains a constructed link. When clicked, it should take the user directly to the order with the corresponding number.  

Hi,Lets assume we are using MSO in automatic.We have shop orders outside of the planning horizon in the future.The planning is rolling and reaches the next day.The corresponding shop order are now within the planning horizon.Will the automatic MSO run consider them and plan them as soon we reach the next day?what happens in automatic mode?Kind regards 

Planning Method E+F uses Order Overhead in the MRP calculation. Can someone explain in detail how the Order Overhead is calculated? Is it related to Cost Buckets/Elements. It seems that the Ordering Costs in Inventory Part are also will be considered for manufactured Parts. 

Is it possible to define the start number of a serial no and have the number system in a specified format?  i.e.  SN123456-01 without  Setup:IFS Cloud 25R2IFS Managed Service

Hello,I am creating a few new parts that I get from another site, for some reason, the new parts that I am creating are not getting a Purchasing Req when I run MRP. I get an error saying that it needs a DO coordinator. I can get the DO if I add the coordination, but I want it to be PO/CO instead. Not sure what I am missing here. Thank you!

I have an alternate component set up and the product structure has the Alternate Exist checkbox checked on the component line.  There is no inventory of the original part and there is inventory of the alternate component part.  But when I try to process a shop order the Alternate Exist checkbox is not checked on the shop order and when I right mouse on the line and choose Alternate component/replace, I get an error that No alternate component is defined or component qty required is zero, but that is not true, what am I missing? 

Hello, is there a way to store dimensions of a part in IFS i.e the length and width of a part?

Is there a particular way to address the alphanumeric fields while sorting?I feel restricted in effectively sorting my data currently. In the attached screenshot, the alphanumeric fields make it impossible to sort the values in an ascending order.Is my only option then is to use some other header column ? 

Hi, In some IFS screens (Ex : Shop order Material Tab), it’s impossible to apply a filter by [Part description]. Only [Part code] is available. But sometimes (ex : Shop Orders vue), we can apply a filter by [Part description]. So users have to swith between différent screens in IFS. Thanks

When a product structure (With components) header has notes and the components are Buildable, the notes are added to the shop order header as soon as the part is added and the shop order header is saved. Product Structure Header Shop Order Notes This is happening only when components are added to the product structure and it is Buildable. What is the reason for this behaviour? I have seen an explanation for an older version of IFS which states that“Notes on the Product Structure Header are added hoping it contains common information related to the Specific Revision of the product and displayed in the Tracking and History Tab hoping these notes will be useful when manufacturing the product”. In Cloud, this is not observed in tracking or History, instead directly transferred to the shop order notes. Please explain.  Thanks!

Kit Article (25R2):i got a question regarding KIT articles:It doesnt matter which part type the kit article is right?Can be either manufactured or purchased → it will not create any shop order proposals or Purchase Requisition.there are just mrp action proposals which will indicate that there is not enough on stock for exampleKind regards

Hello,We are currently starting to work with disassembly workflows, as an addition to our standard assembly process. The aim is to receive a good that is to be retrofitted in our factory, and to track the whole process in the system.We have been able to create disassembly structures and use them in shop orders, but we now would like to have it work as what we normally do on our assembly processes.For example, we typically link each assembly to a project activity (Project/Sub Project), and in the contexte of this current project, linking both disassembly/assembly would be a way to track the overall cost of the disassembly/assembly process on the subproject.It seems like this feature is not possible for this kind of shop order (Link), is it possible to confirm it ? Many thanks for your help, Aurélien POIRIERIFS Cloud 23.2.23

Hello everyone,I would like to inquire about the limitations of Excel reports. What are the possible causes that prevent an Excel report from being successfully previewed in the Order Report when displaying a large volume of data?Currently, I am encountering an issue when attempting to preview data sets containing more than 1,000 rows and over 30 columns.An error message is displayed when I try to preview the report. 

If I have 2 sites, Site A and Site B, and I created a Customer Order for Site A and the DOP Header is created for Site A, is it possible to create the PRs required for the DOP to be created in Site B. This scenario is since Site B shouldn’t see the stocks of Site A, but the stocks must be procured from Site A and sent to B as a centralized procurement.Is this possible in the IFS Cloud Standard?

I was wondering how to maximize capacity for resources on the Advanced Planning Board (APB) I’m seeing a situation where a finite resource has availability, but it isn’t being optimize when backward scheduling. For example. I have the tool and the labor class as finite and the work center as infinite. But what I’m seeing is the OP10 and OP20 are being scheduled correctly., but then when OP30 delays for 2 days later. But you can see that the tool and labor class still have availability.  Why isn’t trying to fill that void when there is availability? APB Load settings Also to note, I tried this with the Re-assign Resources and it gave similar results.

When multi-level tracking is required on Lot/Batch enabled parts, there are scenarios where standard quantity of a component in the product structure is not truly required to complete the produced part, for example it would OK to issue 9.8 pounds of flour instead of 10.  Or perhaps the component quantities are not discrete, rather going out several decimal places in quantity required, for example a component UOM is pounds.  And as long as the actual amount issued is close to this it would be OK.  With Multi-level tracking turned on, none of these scenarios are possible, as the tracked structure requires all the required quantity to be reserved or issued, or the tracked structure is not complete.  Has anyone found work-arounds for this? I am thinking it might require a modfication to change the validations to allow some level of tolerance around quantity issued versus qty required.

I have a Shop Order that requires an outside process to be done at a different site. I issued the Outside process PO, but nothing is popping out at my other site. Any ideas on what I could be missing?

Hello all,How can we adjust the serial number sequence for serialized products?The serial numbers need to be unique, but when Auto-generate is selected, all serialized parts start at number 1.For example:Part 1 starts at 10,000Part 2 starts at 20,000etc.Is there a UI where this can be managed?Creating the first serial number manually and then switching to auto-generate is not possible due to the large number of serialized parts.Kind regards,Willem 

Hello,How can I add a custom attribut to Shop Floor Workbench page. I created the attribut.But it is not accessible from Page designer.  

Community, for new purchase part that received into stock, system does not automatically enabled the supplier warranty, this works fine for those parts that will be built onto final assembly and dellivered to customer ultimately,  but not for the parts that used in facility. any settings we missied?  we are on APP10.
