Hi,

In some IFS screens (Ex : Shop order Material Tab), it’s impossible to apply a filter by [Part description]. Only [Part code] is available.

But sometimes (ex : Shop Orders vue), we can apply a filter by [Part description].

So users have to swith between différent screens in IFS.

Thanks

@MARTOQ

I hope you refer to the Materials tab in the shop order screen in your first sentence.

If so, you can use the ‘Find’ option to broaden your filtration criteria. In the ‘Component Part’ filter option, click on find, and then another screen will pop up allowing users to search components using the ‘Description’

If this is not the answer you were looking for, please elaborate on your question, maybe with screenshots.

This option (for description) is not available in 24R2 and we also need to be able to search by description of the components.  The filter field is only a number.  Yes you can sort by description on the column header but we need to be able to FILTER by the description on shop order material and the product structure pages.  We have structures with 1,000+ parts and we need that description available in the filter.  We need to look at all nuts in the structure doing a ~nut is much easier then trying to add 200 possible nut parts.
