Instead, the numbering sequence is generated automatically by the system based on the length defined for the numeric section, starting from the lowest value within that range (typically 000001).

Once enabled, the part becomes serial-controlled.

3. Create Purchase / Receive Inventory Part

Navigate to Receive Inventory Part and filter using the created part number.

4. Define Cost Structure

Define the required cost structure and proceed.

When receiving the part, the Enter Serials page appears.
