Hey all, Is there a way to debug the IFS Report Designer application to see why a PDF isn’t getting generated? I understand it’s probably a broken formula somewhere in the layout but I have at least a dozen reports that were changed by consultants (the original IFS layouts too.. ugh) and they are just.. broken. Hello everyone I would just like to know if Planned Revenue in Project navigator would automatically change when a new currency rate is added?  For example, say a project is created from an order today and the prevailing currency rate is xxx. Then 5 days later the new prevailing currency rate is yyy. Will the planned revenue in project navigator automatically change?

Hi,I’m getting the error ORA-20110: VoucherRow.VOUROWTHIRDCREDITAMTERR: Parallel currency credit amount must have a value when importing a voucher through external voucher assistance. I looked at the error rows and its all filled in correctly like the other rows that went through fine. Any help would be great.We are on IFS cloud 24r2ThanksMaggie

Hello there!I created a report using the SQL Statement type, and now I'd like to build the same report using the query builder tool.I attempted to do so using the builder tool, but was unsuccessful.Could you confirm whether there is a way to convert the SQL file that is generated through the export function to the query builder type? That would allow me to import it into the system.Why do I would like to do that? How can we prevent users from deleting and modifying quick reports?

On Could 24.2.6I am working on creating a permission set that will be used for users on the production floor. They need to be able to start and stop operations and approve operation quantities complete. They should not be able to receive into inventory. Approving operations uses the projection ReceiveShopOrderHandling. Receiving into inventory uses the same projection. I cannot determine what projection or entity actions need to be revoked or enabled to allow operation approval but not receive.Thanks

Hi, We’re trying to understand how the replacements by PM actions works. Is there any good documentation on it? Couldn’t find it. We’re wondering if it will still work if the PMs that would be replaced are on different dates. Do you need to ensure that if PM_1_Yearly is replaced by PM_2_Yearly,  will it do that if PM_1 and PM_2 have different dates? Thanks

Hi ,Appreciate your support on below. Is there a way to only send an email when a scheduled quick report runs if there are rows?  One of out customers have a report to show expired parts in stock and typically there won't be any parts but the report runs daily and sends a blank spreadsheet to folks (No Data Found).  The blank report is unnecessary. Thank you ,Lumini. 

Is there an “easy button” to move one site under another company within the same IFS instance? Or does that require a full blown data migration to move data from one company to another? How have other IFS customers resolved this situation?

Hi IFS Community, Is there a way to disable all automatic emails in a test environment (IFS CLOUD 24R2) ?We’ve tried with false sender parameters, but emails remain in the queue and they are sent as soon as the sender configuration is restored.I want to do this because some users are receiving purchase request approval emails in the Preprod environment. I disabled purchase request approval event but I may have this issue for other automatic emails. Thanks

Hi Experts,We have a scenario where a Transport task is created lets say for 10 parts but actually 4 is Damaged while transport. Then Engineer have to receive only 6 into the Mobile stock rejecting damaged 4. How to do this Partiall receipt in mobile?If I press Execute, full Qty is received??  Thanks,KM

I’m working with a customer using mWO Service App 10.It seems that when technicians register measurements against Wort Task in mWO, the data is not tranferred to IFS until they Initialize mWO. This doesn’t seem legit to me.Scenario:Assignment transferred to mWO Technician accepts assignment and starts the work + reports time Object Measurements are registered in mWO Work Task Assignment completed in mWO → JT assignment status changed in IFS No data visible in Measurements for Object in IFS technician does Initialize mWO → data recorded readings appear in IFS.Object Measurements only come across to IFS only when technicians Initialize mWO. There are no Failed Transactions. Is this standard behaviour in Apps10? ​@Alexander Heinze any thoughts on this matter?

Is there a solution that would allow creating Cases from an Email in Cloud?Is there a solution for an integration with cases and emails where the conversation, email thread or incoming emails for the case are saved / registered against the relevant case?

hi,I’m working in a upgrade project from ifs version 8 with ASC extension to Cloud.I can see in this ASC extension sometihing called PACKING AID.i have the feeling this PACKING AID was incorporated in CLoud as HANDLING UNIT, but i’m missing 2 columns, the ones below: in version 8 with ASC we have a column called PA TYPE, so determine if the PACKING AID is returnable or one way for example. in version 8 with ASC we have a column called PACKING AID OWNERSHIP, where I can say that the Packing is from the customer for example question: does anybody knows where I can see these columns in Cloud? I have the impression that ASC version was not totally incorporated in Cloud thanks,

Hi everybodySeveral customers have already brought this concern to my attention. I'm looking for a way to set a minimum purchase order value or a minimum value on the purchase order line. This means that the difference between the net amount is calculated at the order header and/or line level and a specific charge type is automatically created with this difference amount.Thank you in advance for your ideas and feedback.  Best regards,  Rolf

Hi IFS Community, Our customer is a IFS Managed cloud customer. Our current document file repository id Database. We started moving the documents to Cloud File Storage in TRN environment. In IFS Managed cloud the Cloud file storage is something which only IFS has access and even customer doesn’t have access.. So there is no way to see what is happening there.I have moved around 15000 files from Database to Cloud File Repository for testing purpose in TRN. Now we have a requirement of cloning PROD to TRN. PROD has no files in cloud file storage repository. In TRN some files moved to cloud FSS and some are in database. I am going to re begin the document transfer in TRN after PROD copy.In normal database clone request only database copy happen and since there is no FSS in PROD we do not need to initiate new FSS clone request in this case. But below two tables are not replaced in a environment during the cloning.EDM_LOCATION_USER_TABEDM_LOCATION_TAB But EDM_FILE_TAB , EDM_FILE_STORAGE_TAB

Dear IFS Community, We didn’t found a way to Detach or Delete approved step from Document Approvals (Attachments/APPROVAL PROCESS tab - IFS CLOUD 24R2 SU5).Even the user who approved has the error message “Illegal to remove a step with status Approved”.Anyone has a solution for this?  

How can we add more lines to a purchase requisition when it is in a state of partially authorized?For example, our Purchase Req has 100 lines on it, when a line is authorized and PO created for a number of these lines, a lot of them are still in the released status. However, you cannot then add any other lines to the purchase req.We need to add more lines for freight. Thanks 

Hello, Is it possible to E-mail a task ?

We are starting to use the maintenance Gantt, and the legend mentions HR allocations.I can not seem to find any way to define a work task as HR, and have found no help in the documentation. We would like to use this to show when resources are not available for allocation.  

We are a company using the IFS 10, but recently we discovered a document for IFS Cloud called: “IFS Cloud - NGSM DEMYSTIFIED (24R2)”.Is there any document similar to this for the IFS 10? Showing the good practices, how to use, what is the field, tools, applications inside the IFS.We want to get closer with what is the IFS core, standards and good practices.
