Hello All,I have a command in Aurena and it is responsible to send value to third party system and receive the response whether third part transaction is success or fail(including reason why it failed in third party system) which will be captured by call back function. I’m able to capture the response from REST API in call back function to do certain transaction if response value is success.But my requirement is, once I click the command, system should wait for the response and display it as an alert or information message to user in AURENA client i.e, whether the action is success or fail(with reason why it failed in third party system).Is it possible to achieve this? If Yes, Please suggest. IFS Version: APP10 UPD 18

Hello,We are on Cloud 24R2 with a remote installation. Our repositories are configured as shared, but when I try to attach a new doc to an object I get errors. When I try to view existing docs, I get failed to connect errors. What am I missing? Can someone point me in the right direction to resolve this?

Hi,I’m trying to call a custom API from an IAL in IFS Cloud.  The procedure is in a custom ‘develop on the inside’ utility package written and deployed from IFS Developer and works fine when called from projections.  The IAL also works fine if a standard IFS API procedure is called.I have added IFSAPP. prefix to the procedure call in the IAL query and as a result of this Community question I’ve also tried the @AO.. prefix (although that seems to apply to APPS10).Either of these result in the background job getting stuck in ‘Executing’ with progress shown as ‘Copying data’.I have also granted execute privilege on the package to IFSINFO.Is there something else I need to do to get the IAL to populate?

Hello everyone, i have a question.Is it possible to change the default template selected when printing work copy of a customer invoice?Currently when printing the layout is set to Time and Material and we want it to be fixed price.Also, if possible, could this be defined per user or its a general configuration?I just want to confirm or deny the possibility of doing this but i haven’t seen any topic related to it in the forum. 

Hello Folks,I have run in to an issue (in IFS Cloud 23R1) with connecting a Project to a Sales Contract, where system returns an error indicating that this Project is already connected to a different Sales Contract. Which is true as I have already connected this Project to a Sales Contract that is sitting in ‘Cancelled’ status.Moreover, I have the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” turned ON in the Project Setup Parameters for this Project.​​​I tried to remove the Project connection from the ‘Cancelled’ sales contract but system throws in an error preventing me from doing that.  Thereafter I toggled off the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” since ideally that should take out any restrictions on one Project can go on one sales contract validation.  Then I created a brand new Sales Contract (3rd one, 1st once is already “Cancelled”, 2nd one “Proj. connection failed” with an error as seen on first screenshot) since I thought 2nd Sales Contract was created while I had the “PUB(Project

Can someone explain to me why MRP is delaying the ordering of a part that has fallen below safety stock?The example below has a safety stock of 130 and NO inventory at time of running MRP (with the Plan Safety Stock checkbox enabled)The resulting purchase requisition has a wanted date in the future that gives a latest order date beyond the MRP run date - Why?I would have expected the requisition wanted to be ASAP i.e. Today plus order lead time 

Hello,Has anyone experienced a similar issue in IFS Cloud, where even if the user doesn't have access to Map Position or Media, these tabs are still visible to them in attachments? However, when the user tries to access those tabs, they get an error regarding insufficient privileges.

IFS needs to have an option get all the supplier invoices from one API call.... 

Hello Community, I hope you are all doing well. I am currently working on an Event Action that sends an email and would like to include a report—specifically the "NCR Report"—as an attachment. I have already configured the logic for the Event Action, but I need to automate the generation of the report so it gets archived in the Archive Report page, thereby creating a Result Key. fyi. I do not need to generate the email attachment via PDF_REPORT_CREATED , because I need to generate the report via code to be able to archive or create the Result Key.My main question is: how can I programmatically generate this report and have it archived in the Archive Report page to obtain the Result Key? Are there any code examples or APIs I can use for this purpose?Additionally, I’m trying to trace the internal calls in IFS Cloud 24R2 but haven’t been able to identify the specific API responsible for this. I’ve tried using the inspection tools, but the report execution doesn’t seem to show a clear API

Hello!We are currently working on IFS Cloud and we are struggling with our shop order picking priorities, we have a custom field “Pick Priority=PRIO” to give high importance on our pickings, but since there are a lot planners working on different production lines, there are cases where a big amount of shop orders for picking are released the same day with same PRIO and basically the priority field doesn’t work at all.We have different operations with different material “Required Date” (order to assemble) on our shop orders, so “Released Date” field as second option to prioritizing jobs on pick lists doesn’t support us because Shop Order Pick Lists shows same “Released Date” for all components.We have been asking for adding “Required date” as custom field in Shop Order Pick Lists from our shop orders to have a second option to choose and prioritizing better jobs at warehouse. Just wondering! How customers prioritizing Shop Order Picking Lists? If you have any input, we really appreciate

Hello, In IFS Cloud, is there a way to pre-populate the next system-generated Person ID on the New Employee wizard? From my understanding, you can use workflows to pre-populate fields and was going to see if that could do what I need. The ultimate goal with filling that field is so we won’t have to fill that field when creating a new employee based off a new person employment.  I was trying to see if this can be done via workflow or would this have to be a customization? Hi all,We are in the process of deploying the 24R2 (IFS CLOUD). Our current solution is in 22R2.We currently have 32 permissions sets, and many of them are “CUSTOM”.With 24R2, a lot of projections have been added, and I realize how difficult it is to analyze.So, is there a way to quickly compare permissions sets (entity action Grants & projection action Grants) between 2 environnements (22R2 vs 24R2).Thanks!! Soumia

Hello everyone,On the “Recurring Service Programs” page, there is a selector sorted by the Start Time (custom attribute) field. When the start time of an entry is changed, the entry remains in its original position rather than being automatically re-sorted. It only appears in the correct position after the page is manually refreshed.Is this the expected behavior, or is there a way to trigger automatic sorting without a manualrefresh? Thank you in advance!

In 22R1 there is a new concept introduced to identify equipment object, key will be “Equipment Object Sequence”. Object can be moved from one site to another, also to another company. What appears to be not possible is to change Object ID. I am currently in project where the Object ID itself tells in which process facility etc. the object is located and therefore they are constantly (in their legacy system) changing the Object Identification. The object ID could change from e.g. 10-22-45-67-11 => 10-22-44-67-11. There is of course a unique ID in the background, similar to Equipment Object Sequence.  Once we now have a new key, Equipment Object Sequence, does it make easier or even practically possible to make modification that would allow to change the Object ID?  Is that kind of functionality in the requirements backlog? Viewing the location in functional hierarchy in equipment object navigator has been proposed, but the problem is that it does not show the parent structure of give

EMBEDDED WEB PAGES IN WEB CLIENT using iframe was introduced in Patch 5 of FSM update 6. However this MetrixBrowser implementation on the Webclient is not consistent with the behavior from the smart client.In smart client the iframe url is able to resolve the substitution variable however the webclient is unable to do it. Hi All,I’m in the process of moving from ADFS to Azure AD for SSO, I’ve followed the instructions in the wiki, but have had no success, can someone please give me the exact settings they’ve configured in Azure, and in the Assyst Installer to get SSO working with Entra/Azure? Obviously removing personal details, but I want to compare the setup we have with a working one. I get redirected back to assystweb or assystnet, and it states “Saml Authentication error”, but the logs in Azure state success, and I can’t find logs on the server that reflect saml failures. Thank you.

Hello, When I try to enter a broken number in the Qty per assembly field, it is not accepting rounded numbers.In the example, I try to enter a value of 2.8 kg, when I press the tab key it automatically changes to 28 kg, ignoring the decimal place.Has anyone seen this before?

Hi, I'm using IFS Cloud version 22.2.2.Does anyone use the capabilities of IFS for data exchange using HTTP SOAP or HTTP REST?I received a communication certificate from the service provider, which allows me to access their service. I installed the certificate in Windows as Personal. With the certificate, I can open the service page (fictional address) https://connect.xxxxxx.com/xxxx-cdc/cdc00101?wsdl with the service directory. The page doesn't open without the certificate. I'm doing the same in IFS. I defined the Routing address as REST with the endpoint https://connect.xxxxxx.com/xxxx-cdc/cdc00101?wsdl. I pasted the key into the Keystore. I placed a reference to the key in the Additional Headers of the Routing address. ssl:KeyStoreId = xxxxxxx and ssl:KeyStorePwd = xxxxxxxx. The key's password is the same as the Keystore's. Authentication Method: None. (Other Routing addresses with a REST definition pointing to the https page are working, and the page data is displayed.)The service

Has anyone dealt with this error “The Inventory Transaction Cost already exists” ?We have seen this pop-up when trying to produce a part (production schedule receipt) in IFS Cloud.  The transaction fails to execute (produce the FG part).We’re on AST2 (testing) of IFS Cloud 24R1 and scheduled to go-live in about 5 weeks.We have made this exact same test in Apps8 (our current production environment) and do not have this error message.
