Has anyone used the Enhanced ATP functionality released in 22R2?  After playing around with this in a reference environment, I’ve noticed some interesting behavior and it appears I may not be grasping some of the intended value by this enhancement. Below are just a few points I’ve seen thus far:Batch Release of Customer Orders It’s only possible to batch Release Customer Order Lines if the Planned Due Date is before or sooner than the Expected Unlimited Supply Date (EUSD) from the Inventory Part.  Why would you not be able to Release Customer Orders after this date?  Isn’t the assumption that all demand could be satisfied in theory after this date? Replanning of Customer Order Line Dates The Replanning feature does modify the Planned Delivery Date at times but only if any incoming Supply is arriving sooner than the EUSD. For example, if the Purchased Lead Time is 6 days (4/3/23) and the EUSD is 14 days (4/11/23). Availability Check will not allow you to enter a Customer Order Line

Working in earlier with IFS Developer Studio using Marble, I do remember that I could get hints and guidance when writing code. For example, if a added an attribute to projection entity, I could easily see (by a tool tip or something alike) which settings/preferences I could use for that object. Like a reference documentation in the editor. Is this still possbile to switch on? What do I miss in my setup?/Fredrik

Hi Finance experts,We have added Identity Type (Customer/Supplier type) and Identity(Customer ID/Supplier ID) to voucher_row_tab via a Modification. Now there is a requirement to modify External File Templates STDVOU/STDVOU2 to update above values.I believe this is a Modification but I would like to know1. Is this a complex modification requires changes in multiple places?2.Is it a good practice to change STDVOU/STDVOU2 templates?3. Do we have any other alternative options like Configuration instead of a Modification to achive this?

We are setting up BACs file with new bank, have set up a new cash account in IFS and also a Payment instituteHow do I connect these, as I cannot create a BACs file using the new cash account

I don’t see ANY field in Supplier or PO called Delivery Type.  WHAT AM I MISSING HERE??

Hello Everyone,I would like to know how IFS Alternate Structure Works?I have BOM set up like below for item 123Structure A        Structure BItem X        Item X1item Y        Item YItem Z        Item ZWe do keep of stock item X and X1 As well. Item X can be converted to X1 via doing some sub contract work. Our by default  Structure is A. since we have stock of certain parts on X1 I want to create Alternate structure B So that if when demand arise for Part 123.. if I have stock of  item X1 then  MRP should put Structure B but if there is no stock of item X1 then it should go by default Structure A.I am no sure what is the best way to set up this arrangement in IFS 9?or what is the other way to let MRP know to use  X1 instead of X until the stock last ?? Any idea would be welcomed! Thanks,

Hello everyone,we are currently looking for a persistent and preferably officially supported way to customize the IFS Cloud login / landing page background image. We are running IFS Cloud 25.2.7.Since IFS Cloud 25.2.2, we identified the login background image inside the ifsapp-proxy container at:/usr/share/nginx/html/landing-page/background/IFS-CLOUD-SERV-INDUSTRIES.webpTechnically, we are able to replace the image by creating a Kubernetes Secret containing our custom background image and making it available to the ifsapp-proxy deployment. This works, but our concern is that this is not an officially supported or upgrade-safe customization. The customization could potentially be overwritten or lost during operations such as:Middle Tier restart / recreation Pod or deployment recreation IFS Installer execution Helm upgrade IFS Cloud update Redeployment of ifsapp-proxyWe therefore contacted IFS Support to ask whether there is an officially supported way to configure the login background glob

I am facing an issue while renewing the SSL certificate for our IFS Cloud environment.Environment:- IFS Cloud chart version: 222.2.0- Windows Management Server- MicroK8s Kubernetes- Helm version: 3.11.3- Java bundled with IFS Cloud: Java 11- Installation action: mtinstallerThe existing SSL certificate was renewed, so I updated the certificateFile and certificatePassword in ifscloud-values.yaml.The new PFX certificate has been tested using the Java keytool bundled with IFS Cloud and the PFX opens successfully as PKCS12 with a PrivateKeyEntry. However, when I run:.\installer.cmd --set action=mtinstallerthe MT installer fails during the Helm upgrade. The important error is:INFO: Installing ifs-cloudINFO: Using chart ifscloud/ifs-cloud --version 222.2.0INFO: Doing a dry-run ..INFO: Running helm upgradeSEVERE: Failed to install ifs-cloudError: looks like "https://ifscloud.jfrog.io/artifactory/helm" is not a valid chart repository or cannot be reached:Failed to fetch https://ifscloud.jfrog.io/

HiPlease can anyone clarify what would happen if we added an index to an existing entity by adding a .storage file with the new index in IFS Developer Studio? Is this actually the correct way to add a new index? Will the new indexing be generated for existing data when the entity is deployed from IFS Developer Studio? Will the new indexing be generated for existing data when the deployment containing the new file is done for a different environment from Build Place? Thanks, mmck

Dear All,For one of the customer on 25R1 we have added additional filters on ‘Task Measurement’ like Parameter, Parameter Description and Test Point ID in MWo Service App.We are facing issue with Sorting values using these filters. The values will not sort in ascending or descending order how usually sorting funtionality works on the records of ‘My Work’ tile. For example, if I have 10 work task with me and when i use My Work tile to navigate to list of records there if I use work task field as filter the list gets sorted based on work task number. But same is not happening here.Any leads on this will help. Below is the screenshot showing the button to sort. Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions.Regards,Srinivas

Since using the view name from the Shop Floor Clockings screen resulted in an error, I created the Migration Job using the underlying database table name instead. The data was successfully inserted using the Excel Add-in. However, no transaction history was created, and the transaction-related fields in Shop Floor Clockings remained blank.I also tried using the API SHOP_FLOOR_CLOCKINGS_HANDLING_SVC.DO_ADD_LABOR_CLOCKING_DONE, but an error occurred. My expected result is to create Shop Floor Clockings data through a Migration Job and have the corresponding transaction history generated automatically, in the same way as when records are created from the application. Is this behavior supported when using a Migration Job, or is another approach required?

Hello, Can anyone tell me where this field populates from? I have a few lines that are showing up as quotation request instead of purchase request and I can’t figure out why. Thanks,Mike

I want to use a migration job (Procedure Name: EXCEL_MIGRATION) for a specific view to create multiple data records where all fields—except for "Contract"—have the same values, while the "Contract" field has a different value for each record.Previously, I had to write a separate row for each "Contract" and click the "Execute" button to register them. Now, I would like to be able to enter just a single row of data and have multiple records (one for each "Contract") registered upon clicking the "Execute" button.

Issue:The customer order cannot be released because the presence of cancelled internal order lines prevents the release process from completing successfully.Expected Behavior:Cancelled lines with an Internal order type should not prevent the customer order from being released, provided there are no other blocking conditions.Actual Behavior:The customer order remains blocked and cannot be released when cancelled internal order lines exist.

In a fresh 26R1 installation we are only seeing what appears to be our custom elements under the Query Designer screen, and none of the standard system entities.  We need to be able to see the standard entities like CustomerOrder, CustomerOrderLine.I’m sure we’re missing something simple or something perhaps needs a refresh after the installation? Thanks in advance!Nick

A. What is your idea?1) ClassificationOpportunity for improvement2) Brief descriptionOn the Post Imported Object Transactions page, users can select specific lines and execute the Post Imported Object Transactions command. This functionality creates the expectation that only the selected lines will be processed. However, the system ignores the line selection and posts all imported transactions, regardless of the selected records. While the product documentation states that "As a result of this activity, all imported objects are posted on the same vouchers," the ability to select individual lines in the UI can be misleading, as it suggests that the posting action will be limited to the selected transactions. This creates a discrepancy between the documented behavior and the user experience.B. Context and scope1) Who is affected?Internal users Customers Partners2) FrequencyFrequentlyC. Value and impact1) What is the business outcome?Enhances user experience2) Impact scale2 — Tea

Hi,I am using DMM tool to migrate Supplier records. Target table is SUPPIER_INFO. Data is approved and ready to deploy in Deployment container. But when trying to deploy it gives an error “Error: Field [AUTO_GENERATE is mandatory for Deploy Definition Attributes and requires a value”None of the fields in SUPPLIER_INFO in Target Table Definition is set to Auto Generate. We are in 24R2.Any leads to fix this issue is appreciated.Thank you.

in the Project Costs page, all users are able to see other users transactions, how do we stop this? The employees are added as resources to the projects and as project team. Project Access toggle button is on but still employees are able to see other users transactions. Please assist.

Hi,When I select the quotation request option when creating the supply request from project material lines, it still ends up in a purchase requisition, which only give the possibility to create quotation out of that requisition. It does not automatically create a request for quotation from the project material demand line. It crates the requisition and then the user has to manually convert this to a request for order quotation. Is this the correct behavior? or do I miss any setups here ?Thank you

If we set ‘Site to Site supply chain parameters the ‘Transport Lead Time’ it considered for the PO in demand site. we can see separate Arrival date and Delivery date based on the number of days that we set for Transport Lead Time. But when we set Direct Shipment to Demand Site parameters in ‘Supplier to Site Supply Chain Parameters’ page it is not considering the Transport Lead Time for the PO in demand site.Is there any additional configuration exists in direction shipments to get separate Arrival date and Delivery date?
