Dear all Is there a possibility to remove the “Select” button option for Attachment types from the Survey completion popup window on the WebClient, best-case via Client Script, so the option remains with the Mobile Client? If you’re completing the Survey on Web and activate for an attachment lookup field window the “Select” button, the “Attachment Lookup” screen is opened, and if you’re then activating the “Cancel” button, all the cached survey answers will disappear and the survey questions reloaded.Survey “Select” buttonSurvey Attachment Lookup Cancel button Kindly note the survey I am using is a nested one with a sub-survey.Looking forward for your answers. Best regards:Marko

Hi, we want to allow access to the Employee Portal outside of our internal network. is it possible to install the employee portal on a different server to avoid exposing the application server to the world?

We have recently upgraded to FSM 6UPD9 to make use of the ODATA REST APIs in order to integrate our external applications with FSM. Very often we are getting a request channel timeout while using the ODATA REST API’s. Once this starts every call fails. Message:Error occurred while getting EDM model from app server.System.TimeoutException: The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:59.9970047. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. The ODATA rest API's makes a call to the FSM server "<perform_get_updated_odata_edm>" to get the data model. It basically asks for the database table structure of ~1200 tables in FSM, which looks to be a very time-consuming operation. We have observed that the ODATA API attempts to refresh the EDM model every time there is a server restart/ IIS reset or whenever we do a refresh cach

In Aurena we are looking to show the name of an ID field instead of just the ID.  We can create a custom field to do that but, was wondering if there’s a simpler way.  Sometimes the name is an available field and sometimes it’s not.

Hello Community,In IFS CLOUD, I don’t found yet a similar fonctionality as “send to” function in EE. In EE, this functionality is able to send a notification, linked to an IFS object, to a colleague (other IFS users). It’s very usefull to send some information to other user.Does someone know if there is a similar function in IFS cloud // Aurena? Regards Anthony

Hi AllHave any users in this forum got experience on Migrating a set of documents from Sharepoint to IFS? How did you carry out the migration? What were the challenges you faced in terms of document size, disc space, IFS performance etc? Any reflections on the lessons learnt would be great. Our goal is to close down sharepoint and utilize IFS only.  Thanks,Asela

Hi,We have started to deploy a newer version of the mobile devices our technicians use.One thing we have noticed is that when initialised the device_id on person_mobile is ‘null’.All the other values are being set on the table correctly with regards to brand, model, os_type and os_version, just nothing for the device_id. The devices are Android and the newer version see’s us go from OS9 to OS10 using FSM Mobile. Is this something set at device level, something missing in the mobile .apk, or something else? Ady

We are trying to roll out the IFS Aurena Extension users, but can’t get it to work. We are on IFS10 upd11. It’s seems to be installed correctly, also the msi file. We get this error when going to User Settings in Aurena:  I think that this worked earlier on the same IFS version, but after we tried to roll it out through SCCM we get this error. Anyone knows how to fix this?

Hi, What is the replacement view for the SHIPMENT_HANDLING_UTILITY in cloud? I cannot find this view or a close view to this in cloud database.  ThanksRoshanga

Hi Team,Can someone explain the reason for appearing,Progress Type = In Progress Customer order status = Invoiced Customer order line status = Invoiced & CancelledLines in Demand for shipping window? Also, it is not possible to create a Shipment from these lines. Therefore, apart from removing these lines through a data repair, is there any action that we can suggest customer to remove this. Also, what are the possible reasons for these lines to appear in Demand for shipping window.

Hi Community, at a Customer we discovered the problem that tasks assigned to a ressource and send to mobile are not synchronized anymore. We discovered in the debugger that two values are NULL in the transaction, but we could not find out why.  The funny part is, that the work tasks are transmitted to the device after re-initialization. Happy for any ideas and solution attempts. Client: Apps10/AurenaApp: Service10 BR Sven

We have had huge stability problems with our IFS production environment this week. It seems to be related to the middleware server. We are on IFS10 upd11. We upgraded from upd7 two weeks ago. First week it was stable, but this last week has been bad.All targets seems to be running, but IFS cannot be accessed. If we try to restart the targets we get this error:A new START again gets it all started, but then it falls down again after a while. We are a little bit lost now. Could anyone point us in a direction where to search for the error?
