Hi there,This is my first post on the forum, and I greatly value any guidance or suggestions from the experts here. I'm keen on pursuing a career path as an IFS system developer.Potential roles might include:the implementation or upgrading of a customer's business system solution. This would entail collaborating with the customer to achieve consensus on the desired business processes and then translating these into efficient working methods within the IFS ERP-suite.About Me:I'm an Oracle DBA with extensive PL/SQL expertise. I'm adept at creating quick reports, IFS application tasks such as administration, cloning, etc. I also have knowledge of background processing, scheduled tasks, custom events, IAL, and some experience with integration. Additionally, I'm familiar with Linux bash. C# knowledge. My Question:Do you have any suggestions on where to begin? I've started by reading the technical documentation on integrations and plan to proceed with background processing, SOAP, and REST.I

Hello,We are currently having a very important issue in our 22R2 IFS Cloud environment. Our customer orders need pick lists automatically created, which has been working fine with a scheduled database task, but now the database task, after more than a month of running, has been failing. The error we get is this: “The State Codes does not exist. ORA-20111: StateCodes.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST” and “Country / State: US, State Code: *” for the value of the error. We are trying to run this database task schedule: Create Consolidated Pick List for Customer Orders and below are our conditions: Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. We arent sure what change has caused this issue to occur but if anyone has any information, please add it to this post. Thanks,Bryan

Hello,We are looking to pass the work order # to another app / site to associate additional data with it. We are trying to build a link off of the work order in MWO https://formsproapp.azurewebsites.net/launch?WorkOrder=${WO_NO} Reading the documentation, it seems like this should be available. However, when the link is executed the parameters are blank:https://formsproapp.azurewebsites.net/launch?WorkOrder= Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!

Dear all, We are currently using the IFS MWO SERVICE 10 App version 10.13.1360.0 and need to update to the latest version (10.20.1419.0), through App Store. (iOS Devices). Would you kindly advise if this is performed, the devices need to be initialized and as a precautionary measure do we need to advice all the devices to keep on idle mode or disconnected? Many thanks for your kind thoughts and advice.

when our devices are doing an Initialization, it gets to Processing Message 3/XXX and it always gets stuck for over 5mins. how do I work out what this message is so I can see if I can reduce the data being sent?

How is the Send Document Link functionality supposed to be used? And, more exactly, the escape characters in the link? I’m testing this with a document class named ‘IPC REV’, thus with a space in it. The result is an url containing DocClass='IPC%2520REV' which does not work if I try it in the browser. 'IPC%20REV' works though. It looks as first the space is replaced by %20 and then the % is replaced by %25. Since this looks like it is done deliberately, what is the story?

Hi everyone, I have created a few quick reports, that we then send through application server tasks and background jobs on a regular basis. When our department leader decides to ask an IFS partner to copy from PROD environment to TEST environment and we are not informed, we receive these quick reports in double, from PROD and TEST, however the problem is we don’t know which one is from PROD and which one is from TEST.Is there any possibility to put the environment on the email subject to differentiate the quick reports? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Hi,My organisation is looking to implement some features using the Contact User form’s User Flags. I am aware that we can modify those according to our needs. However, we have a very specific scenario where we would like to be able to create event queries based on the value of those flags. I haven’t seen those fields in the query form. Is there a way to create event queries using the User Flag values? My organisation is using assyst 11.2.3.Thanks!

Hi Team, We have an ITF (created by us) that tries to import data installed item (item) data into contract lines (ccontrl_xref).we mapped item.item_id to ccontrl_xref.table_key, ‘item’ to ccontrl_xref.table_name,also other mandatory fields like ccontrl_xref.to_date,ccontrl_xref.from_date,ccontrl_xref.cc_serial_no_for_import,ccontrl_xref.bpart_id,ccontrl_xref.company_id,ccontrl_xref.priceare all mapped to proper fields in excel sheet data. However, for few lines of import data it works perfectly fine. But for most of the lines it gives “Could not locate item with serial number” even though the serial number is correct and can be found in installed item module if we do a search. let us know how to make this import work so that we can complete a data migration activity.
