Hi all 😊,The customer has a problem with previewing attachments in APP10 Aurena. This is a widespread issue in many fields. When you click the preview button, and error message displays as below. The problem affects all users. The strangest thing is that the preview of the same attachments works in Enterprise Explorer, so it is not a problem of permissions or incorrect paths.Relevant technical logs are in attached files.Any idea on how to fix this issue is highly appreciated.Product Version: UPD15Thank You 😊

A customer has asked whether it is possible to change the title of a document when it’s generated and the printed document is downloaded (e.g. a customer invoice, PO order confirmation etc.). The customer is trying to get IFS to use e.g. the invoice number, PO number etc. in the document title so that it’s easily searchable and it’s clear which document is what.  Has anyone come across this requirement or seen a way to do this?

Hi everyone, We getting an error when trying to post a fiscal note, although we don’t understand why the error is happening. In the order, we have the following preposting values:We have the preposting rules created as you can see below. However, when posting the fiscal note, we get the following error:“Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M30 control type C32 code part B in company 100.” To help with your answers, this error is only happening with non inventory sales-parts.Why is IFS searching for the values in M30 posting, when the values came from preposting? Is there some parametrization missing on our behalf? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

I am working in Aurena apps 10 and I am responsible for setting up employees across companies however, I can’t change the company in the new employee wizard in Apps 10 Aurena to the secondary company that I have access to. We are moving to cloud soon, is this fixed in cloud or do I need to enter a ticket? No matches under the dropdown for company.

Hi Experts,We are in the middle of an upgrade test from 22R2SU3 to 23R2SU3. When I try to add a person resource demand line (Prepare work order\work task\tab resources) with a resource id (if I create a demand without a resource id no issue, even if I add an allocation for such demand no issue ) I get below error.I am not using request management functionality (only the previous work order flow), hence why would I asked to register a service site setting ?.Is this a bug or have I miss any setup. Can some one advise please ?Thank you,RoshanP.S:

One of our customers is having some the below issue with aurena agent,The prebuild package for Aurena Agent IFS are providing on the landing-page is for single user, to install on their clients by themselves, and it works if you have the security parameter “native messaging hosts” sat to enabled. Found this in IFS Community an article that describes the same issue, https://community.ifs.com/document-management-docman-248/aurena-agent-will-not-enable-in-edge-browser-but-does-in-chrom-39986 The conclusion according to this article is:"We have found that the issue was due to a security setting that was disabled in our GPO which as a result, did not permit the Aurena extension in Edge to communicate with the Aurena Agent on the computer. It was “Allow user-level native messaging hosts (installed without admin permissions) “To correct, we needed to enable that setting." customers got the below answer from their security technician:This setting is the issue: Allow user-level native messaging

Good morning.  As a follow-on from my question regarding the transfer of an employee to another company; is it possible to please share a screenshot of the “Transfer of Employee” option (where exactly to look for it).  So far I have not been able to find it.  Thank you.

Hello Experts,I've created a new scheduling dataset, but I'm facing an issue where resources are not being displayed in PSO WB. However, the resource is available, and shifts are also defined in audit files.  Even when I send a work task with location and resource demand lines, the activities are not displayed in PSO WB, although they can be seen in audits.  Could there be something missing in the configuration or setup that's causing this discrepancy? Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Observed that the following LoV is not correctly populated when the Party Type = Asset Manager. It retrieves the values related to the last selected Party Type value or if it is the first time then it contains the supplier info.Is this desired? Then add the Person Id and try to save, the following error occurs.Observed in APP10 Internal IFS reference instance.

Hello, When viewing My Assignments in Aurena. There is an option to mark an Assignment as Incomplete. This starts a workflow, with the final step giving options for Return Travel, New Assignment, and OK. Is there a way to remove the Return Travel button? Given this is part of a workflow, I assumed there would be a configuration, but I do not see one, and this does not appear to be a page that can be designed.

What permission in IFS 10 allows the download all packages option from the debug console?  Thanks!

Hello.I was asked to add an approval process on the work center screen (link : ifsapf:frmWorkCenter ) but I don’t know well how IFS works on that. Is that possible to make an approval process on such a screen? By clicking on attachments, I can only see “media”

In a report rule, in order to format a link into the email message I would need to use a semicolon. It seems this is not possible in the report rule? Any workarounds for this?Report rule setup The messages field needs to include a formatted url to the customer order so I tried thisI even tried to add in stead of ; this [&SELECT CHR(59) AS result FROM dual] but that results in the same problem that the report rule engine is splitting up after the semicolon?Would there be a workaround for this as this is quite a problem if you want to add links from IFS as all the urls in ifs contains semicolons… if you want to filter.I also tried to use Form%3B%24filter=  but that also did not work.So is there a way to “escape” semicolons in the report rule?I saw @dsj had a similar thing with semicolon on the attachments but that was not a solution in this case

Hi Experts I have a very odd error message in the vouche row lines i cannot update to GL after approval. i checked all the connected posting to this invoice, the I voucher…  and J Voucher. I also check the prepostings. We currently utilize Incoming Customer Order to process incoming EDI xml files.  Today, we let IFS calculate the price of the product based on price lists and customer agreements, and overwrite any price received in the file.  In the future we would like accept the price from the incoming file instead.  We have not been able to figure out how to change this, though.  Are we missing some flags on the customer or in the xml file?  Do we need a different solution to bypass the pricing set up for manually created orders? Current xml price tags used:<UNIT_PRICE_IN_OUR_CURRENCY>65.01</UNIT_PRICE_IN_OUR_CURRENCY><UNIT_PRICE_IN_SUPPLIER_CURRENCY>65.01</UNIT_PRICE_IN_SUPPLIER_CURRENCY> We did notice that the “Original sales Price” in Incoming Customer Order does not populate: Price in the Customer Order: Thanks for any suggestions on this.

Hello,we have a lot old shift references for our FME’s which are in the past.Does anyone have an API to delete them via Import? I tried to build own API, but this is giving error message that at least one valid shift must be there, allthough there are many shifts and the one I try to delete is in the past  <root    xmlns:dt="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:datatypes"    xmlns="http://astea.com.schema.bc.employee">    <session email="" alias="">        <state bc_name="employee">            <action name="data">                <main>                    <row number="1">                        <person_person_id in_var="" out_var="">xxx</person_person_id>                        <node_id in_var="" out_var="">DE-WEST</node_id>                        <lang_id in_var="" out_var="">GER</lang_id>                        <first_name in_var="" out_var="">xxx</first_name>                        <last_name in_var="" out_va

Hi everyone,In a DEV enviroment, we just did a test upgrade from APPS10 UDP 7 to APPS10 UDP 19 and after the update, when I checked for invalid objects, there were two. However, I can’t get them to recompile. I’ve try doing it with the RMB option in IFS as well as directly on the DB. Still, I am getting the error 565 PLS-00201: identifier 'COMPONENT_TRVALL_SYS.INSTALLED' must be declared564 PL/SQL: Statement ignored565 PLS-00174: a static boolean expression must be usedDoes anyone know how this can be fixed?Thank you

We have two PSO environments, one for testing and one for production. Our test environment has the correct US date format of month/day/year but our production environment is displaying day/month/year. We’re not sure why the production environment is incorrect or how to fix it. It doesn’t look like any parameter or permission to set for the format we need to use?PRODUCTION (incorrect): TESTING (correct):We are using the same web browser to display both environments. Thanks for guidance on how to solve this!

Hello, I am trying to fill preposting on header level of customer invoice but its blocked for use (greyed out). I read that I have to set up the M104 and M103 with C58 control type, so I did but still can’t manage to fill data on invoice. The customer invoice was created from a delivered order on the “create customer invoice” tab and prepostings on invoice line are inherited from CO line. To be able to add code part values on IP2, I think I have to add them on preposting of invoice header. IP2 is configured with the preposting AC2 control type.If you have any idea on how i could manage to add preposting on header level of a planned customer invoice, I’d be grateful to you if you could share some ideas. Thanks Tanya

Hello, I have several projects with connected POs that are showing a Planned Cost as well as a Used Cost. I have not seen this before, and it is preventing me from closing the Project. That field indicates it is read only and comes from the Planned Cost Driver selected. I do not see in the Help where it indicates how that is setup or how it can be removed. I’m also not sure why some of my POs show this, and some do not. Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hello All,  A customer of mine is analyzing the feasibility to switch from using Work Orders (EAM) to Requests / Request Tasks (NextGenServiceMgmt). Since they’re servicing assets that belong to customers, switching to Request Management makes it a lot easier for them to execute the flow. However, they are also using Projects module. Each Work Order they work on they connect to a Project. I didn’t see any option to connect Requests / Request Tasks to a Project. Did I somehow missed finding this functionality or it doesn’t exist yet?@Alexander Heinze you’re my best bet with this question 😁.
