Work Center Resource can't be deleted

Hi,

When I try to delete a work center resource, I got the error message below. But I can’t find Resource Base Schedule screen, could you show me how to find it?

Hi,

You cannot delete the Resource as it is used in other objects.

However, you can Phase Out the Resource here.

@Richard Owen , Hi, I understand a resource can’t be deleted once it is used by other objects. But this resource was created just now so I am sure it has not been used by other objects, but it still can’t be deleted. Does IFS have some default settings for resources once they are created? Thanks.

I suspect a base schedule has been generated for the resource. Maybe you have scheduled to automatically generate these? Try to remove it first and then delete the work center resource.

@Björn Hultgren , yes, I checked the settings and found ‘Automatic Calculation’ was checked so a base schedule is generated automatically once the work center is created. I disabled it and no schedules were geneated now so I can delete work center resources without issues. Thanks for your informaiton.
