As we all aware, when there is a Drop-off location defined in one particular warehouse (or below levels) and when we move parts using a Transport Task, once we execute the initial transport task, system creates a new (or add to existing) transport task From Drop-off location to Forward to location. I couldn’t find any link (connection) to identify the newly created (or existing one) transport task from the initial transport task. Is there any way to directly go to the newly created (or connected) transport task, instead of go and search in Transport Task/s widows?

I have a requirement for a Sales Quote that also has a Quote Expiration Date. (yes, it is ovbious that we should just make the field required so thay have to enter a date, but I am required to do it this way.) If the Expriration Date is Blank, take todays date and add 60 days to it and put it in the field. If the Expiration Date is not blank, do nothing. The example I was sent from IFS is the attached SalesQuoteExpirationDate.txt If you notice in the attachement, there is a ‘DECLARE which goes down a few lines and stops at END;’;Then there is is code that does the exact same thing as above in a diffrent way, I was told we had to “fool” the system which is why it was done this way. During testing it was found that you have to save it twice and then refreash the screen. I think it is because of having to “fool” the system and this work around is not working.  Sales does not like this. Is there a bettter way to do this through an Oracle Script? Dear all, Is there a way to simply mark invoices so that they won't be involved in a Reminder propoal?I've seen that you can set the Reminder Blocked unitil in the window Reminder/Interest Info per Customer Invoice. Unitl the date set ismn't passed invoice will be excluded from a Reminder proposal.Is there a posibility to set this field in an other way?Or is there an other way to mark invpoices that they won't be involved  in a Reminder Proposal?I know that I can Exclude them when I've made the proposal but then I've to do that every time I've made a proposal. That's not what i want. 

Hi All, It was my understanding that all reserved materials can now be moved in Apps10. But, when component parts are reserved for supplier materials, the system does not allow this reserved stock to be moved.Is this the standard functionality and what is the reason behind this? Hi, I have following requirement, please advise If a supplier is 45 End of Month (45 EOM Payment Term) – they would be paid 45 days from the end of the month the invoice is received (i.e. 45 days from the end of April). So if an invoice was received today (2021-04-08), we would pay them on 14th June at the earliest (31 days in May + 14 days in June = 45 Days) .Please note that this payment term has been granted to us by the supplier  In IFS, if we check “End of Month” in payment term and set 45 Days as “Days to Due Date”, system give priority to “Days to Due Date” and then apply the “End of Month” as a result due date becomes 30th of May . BR Champika     

Hi,     In IFS Aurena or IEE , by which menu I can attache parts into Handling Unit?    eg: in there are 10 parts-A  in stock, I would like to put 5 in Box-1 and other 5 in Box-5.    ※in WaDaco, I know we have “ATTACH_PART_TO_HANDLING_UNIT” procss ,   　 but in Aurena or IEE , I Cannot find similiar menu.

I now have user pictures associated with the Person info.The picture size is 844 x 1055 pixels and by default the user picture looks zoomed out (see below)I will have to manually right click on the image and Scale - Size to fit  , to see the full picture. My question is, is there an way to set the Size to fit option by default ? or is there any option to edit the user pictures in bulk (i.e. modify the picture size in bulk)   

Does anyone know if can I fix a two line M voucher with a missing transaction code on one of the lines?  Line 2 shows ‘MANUAL’ which I would expect, not sure what has caused line 1 to come through as blank.  Any advice on what may have caused it or how to fix would be appreciated.  Thanks

Has anyone successfully implemented IFS Applications 10 to use the default SSL port 443 instead of the standard port numbers?One of my client wants to implement this configuration for couple of reasons:Suppress the port number inside the IFS URL Most firewalls are tolerant to 443 compared to other portsPlease advise, thanks!

Hi Customer is using Azure AD authentication and want to use CRM Panel Outlook Add-In (IFS CRM Panel v10.4.0.0). But Login from Outlook is not working is Azure AD authentication is used. When you press “Log In” in CRM Panel, Azure AD authentication page pops up and after entering e-mail address and password, it just show “Log In” page of CRM panel again. (when using Database authentication, it works fine). We configured Azure AD App registration as described in IFS help files . Customer is using IFS Applications 10 UPD5. Anyone that got CRM Panel working with Azure AD? Is there any patch that needs to be installed? Neno Solaja, Novacura

Hi, Im trying to give a non HR person access to training records without exposing the rest so went about creating an IAL for it with live data and then granted permission to the IAL against the users permission set. However when the user runs the quick report it only returns the data that the user has access to i.e under his position access.Previously i have done this and it has worked fine. The only thing i can think of at the moment is that because it it looking at live data and not copied/scheduled then IFS is still checking the position/data access of the user.The IAL is a union on these two views;ifsapp.pers_license_emp_profile_Ovifsapp.emp_training_history_ov Any ideas?  

Is there a better and alternative process to intercompany invoices? At the moment we have a multi-step process to request/raise/send/process/match/post/pay or offset for intercompany transactions I am wondering if there is a process where the request can be processed in IFS and all transactions are posted from that 1 entry?

In Aurena the setting for dollar format to include commas is under account settings - grouping button. Is there a way to set this for all users, rather than each user having to set it?

Under FSM6OnPremiseInstallation.pdf we can see the below recommendation. Oracle Server Recommendations- Each month, run the script fsm_?_IndexRebuilder.sql where ? represents the current version. We are running FSM 6.1 with an Oracle database. 1) What are the benefits we can get by running it and what are the downsides if it is not run every month?2) What are the precaution (or pre requisites) that should be  taken care of before running the script? Do we need some downtime before executing the script?3)This script is also dropping the primary keys and recreating them. What are the risks?

HI,I would like to restrict the data access in the Request Screen according to the organization of the service provider.The access group is used to separate activities : 1 access group for telecom activities, 1 other for Electric activities.But for one access group (BU telecom for example), the service provider want that a user based on West (this user works for customer based on West) will not see Requests’data for customer based on East. What settings could we use to prevent a West User to see Request data for East ?Could we use Posting group to do that ? Is it possible in UI designer to define a screen with Data Restriction based on the user who is connected ? that is to say : FSM know that the user connected on West (posting group or person physical_svc_grp, ….)Thanks for your contributionsRegards

The part is a software program and we do not suppose to serialized software.Is there any way to disconnect this part from serialization?

We went live back in August and want to tidy our accounting periods up.   We have them going back to 1900.  For a number of years the periods are closed but the year is open.   How do we carry out  the RMB > Final Period Close on the Accounting Periods screen,   The periods are all closed and there are no outstanding transactions/errors etc., reported when running RMB > Validate Transactions in Progress,  but still the Final Period Close is greyed out.  Also, is there a way to carry out a number of year ends.Would it be a case of using Cursor and API calls to perform the same task as running through the process in IFS.
