How to change the history of the saved schedules? Any parameters for it? Tried ‘MaximumSavedSchedules’ but it only for the number of schedules that it keeps in the system, the requirement is to to set up how far i can go back on saved schedules.

Hi, We have 215 vouchers sat in error that have not passed through to our General Ledger. All of the errors relate to Manual supplier invoices created by numerous users on or after 16th December. The same update error of “The Obj Connect Lu Transform object does not exist” relating to an IP5 posting control. We are not aware of any changes to our system, so are totally baffled as to it’s cause. Has anyone got a clue how to resolve this or had a similar issue ? Regards, Daryl

We want to create some links to web pages on an App 10 lobby. Is there a way to specify that a link on a lobby page should open in external browser, and not inside IEE?

We are currently on Apps 9. We would like to batch print customer invoices but we have multiple templates that are used for this. I am trying to create a report rule that will default the layout template when a specific site is selected so the invoices are printed on the correct layout. We have tried various iterations of the expression in the report rule but none seem to be working. One such version is below. Can anyone offer any insight on what we may be doing wrong?

Hello, Does anyone know a way of changing the behavior of when you click on a IFS URL link embedded within an email to an IFS screen? If the user is already logged into IFS it will still create a new session (prompting user to login unless using SSO) instead of utilizing the existing IFS session they have open. We are trying to find a way to clear the files from the temporary directory that are created when viewing files from within IFS. The reason is when the user goes to open another file from IFS it prompts to replace the file or not. Not a huge deal but when they are opening a number of files at once it is a bit annoying.

Hello Heroes, I am reviewing the following IFS F1 Documentation page for Apps 10 to Configure behavior through server startup parameters : As per the note, You can add/change these startup parameters from IFS Applications intaller at installation time or by using IFS Middleware Server Admin Console. I am unable to locate these parameters in IFS MW Admin Console? Can you please point where to look specifically?

Is it possible to replace physical document file with a new file in Document Revision window, on RMP Delete is available. after delete, upload of new file seems not available.

We’re located in Belgium and we have our own Azure cloud servers for IFS in Amsterdam (NL). Apart our from belgian offices we also have offices working with IFS in Czech Republic, Thailand, Malaysia, China and Brazil. But we are struggling since IFS10 with startup times of 90sec. or more in China and Brazil, 60sec. in thailand and Malaysia. Belgium and Czech republic manage in 20-30 seconds. I find this quite unacceptable, but it’s hard to convince IFS. Anymore people expereincing this? Or is this due to a bad setup ? Should not be, because setup was done by IFS.

Has anybody implemented the full automation Kanban program? I want to set it up to automatically calculate ROP’s and generate req’s but I need to know a few things first.

We are currently on version 9 and are starting to create lobbies for user review. I was able to grant access to the lobby that I created to a permission set, however, the it appears that the user(s) now have access to all of the IFS standard lobbies as well. I don’t see a way to deactivate these or restrict access to them. I tried to explicitly revoke access in the permission set to specific lobbies but they are still showing up in the lobby overview, although the data isn’t pulling through. The issue is that the lobby overview is messy with all of the IFS standard lobbies and I’d like to make that a little cleaner.

The business rule input validation TASK.TASK_ID EQUAL some table and column in VALUE_TABLE_NAME and VALUE_COLUMN_NAME field doesn’t work. I am expecting it would verify if the new task_id exists in the VALUE_COLUMN_NAME of VALUE_TABLE_NAME. Is it wrong expectation?

I have hided all the fields of the posting Tab of the Work order Report in Tab. I am unable to unhide the same and unhide option is not visible to me. This is hided for me only. Please advise the solution?

I have created a Read Only custom field on the GL Voucher Row Analysis and when I go back to the screen and Reload the Configuration it does not show up in the Column Chooser. I have logged out and back in and still no luck. Any ideas on why this is not showing up? Apps 10 UPD5

When it tries to login to the FSM 5.7 Mobile, it shows an error message as “UserNotAuthforDev”. No body can login to Mobile client. it works. but suddenly face this issue

Customers cannot see the IOS executable in Mobile service as usual. How could they get it? does it related to VPP process?

When registering a new FSM MPM, even after configuring all the parameters in "Perform Definitions" correctly, MPM throwing the following error when invoking. "Metadata not found for YourMPMName Contact your system administrator for assistance."

One customer that am handling is looking for a quotation to add a “delete” button for NCR. Customer mentions the following: We need to be able to remove incorrectly reported cases from the system (like we do in DocMan). Same goes for CAPA cases, where we also have some test cases that were logged in production environment by mistake. We also need to be able to remove these. In IFS 8, is it possible to calculate the stock ageing if the raw material is maintained in a single line(not lot batch wise, material is shown in a single line,lot batch as “*”)? I have seen if we use the FIFO method for the costing, it properly costed as the first in first out. If there is any table used for this what is the name of it? so i can use that table and calculate the stock ageing in the BI Tool.

Version - IFS2003 We have a user who often exports Quick Report Navigator Crystal Reports to excel using the Export icon. On his old laptop, he has the option to export to MS Excel 97-2000 whereas the new client build only has older options (Excel 5.0, Excel 7.0, Excel 8.0). 97-2000 gives better formatting of data into Excel. We know that the F1 Runtime part of a client install loads Crystal runtime components onto the client and we think we have installed something else on is old laptop in the past to give him the 97-2000 option but don’t know what. We have compared like with like and cannot see a difference. Any ideas where the dlls might be that give him the option for Excel 97-2000?
