We have a request for implementing an interface between TeamCenter, the PLM system of Siemens with IFS10. Do you have it up and running or have you looked at it. I don’t need full specs here, more a sense of how difficult it would be to prepare such an interface or that it can be bought from a partner or Siemens. I registered a internal direct delivery and now I want to return the material to internal supplier directly. I created a RMA with Returned to Supplier, correctly defined, then release it. But “Register Direct Return to Supplier” RMB is not getting enabled .

Hi,We are using planning method K (Blow through planning) frequently,  Sometimes the demand of the K-planned parts appears in Inventory Part Availability planning, producing alarms that we have a “Negative Projected Onhand”. Anyone who knows why?

We are using IFS Apps 8 and are considering offering Managers the opportunity to record sickness absence directly into IFS.  Whilst this can be done via Time Card Day, I was wondering if there was an alternative or better screen for this purpose that only offered direct subordinates and not everyone in the organisation, as is the case with some of the HR screens aimed at HR personnel.Having looked at the Absence screen, it seems that you cannot restrict this just to Direct Subordinates unless there is a method that I have not identified.  

Hi, I want to create two custom fields in the menu Supplier Invoices Analysis (view = INCOMING_INVOICE2) and need some help:A Custom Field which shows the On Hold Reason (SQL Column: on_hold_reason) from the menu Authorize Invoices for Payment (view: PAYMENT_PLAN_AUTH_QRY). A Custom Field which shows the Coordinator (SQL Column : AUTHORIZE_CODE) from the menu Purchase Order (view: PURCHASE_ORDER). Can someone please assist me and help me get the right statements to create both custom fields?Kind regards,Simon

Hello We using a CTU Licenses and every time we terminate employee using “terminate employment” function we have to manually find employee in “shop floor employees” and un-tick “workbench user” box to de-activate/remove the CTU Workbench license from use. Is there another way of doing it so that when employees are terminated using “terminate employment” CTU license also could be removed from user shop floor employee account? This is fairly time consuming manual process at the time. 

Hello, I have to substring following string, its one column, into three columns to pass arguments in an api to get invoice number.   COMPANY=01^LUMP_SUM_TRANS_ID=2^MIXED_PAYMENT_ID=4637^MIXED_PAYMENT_LEDGER_TRANS_ID=25^ COMPANY=01^LUMP_SUM_TRANS_ID=20^MIXED_PAYMENT_ID=4637^MIXED_PAYMENT_LEDGER_TRANS_ID=1^   Desired result company LUMP_SUM_TRANS_ID MIXED_PAYMENT_ID MIXED_PAYMENT_LEDGER_TRANS_ID 01 2 4637 25 01 20 4637 1       Now you see lump_sum_trans_id has can have 1 or 2 digits and same with Mixed_payment_ledger_trans_id can be 1 or 2 characters. Company and mixed_payment_id is mostly same number of characters.   Previously I used decoded with substring on the assumption that all columns are using same characters….. but now situation is changed. I understand regexp_substr or instr can be helpful but I am lost in it. some expert help will save my day :)   Thanks

Hello, I am trying to delete an Object ID in the Equipment Object Navigator, but to do that I need to delete the PMs associated with the Object ID. I created a few to test some things and now need to delete them. I cannot delete the Work Order or Pm Actions because it is used in Pm Action Calendar Plan. I also cannot edit the calendar because said Pm Actions are Obsolete. They should not have any Time ($$$) associated with them, so why can’t I delete them?

Hello,Is anyone familiar with the Business Type field on the Business Opportunity header? Do you know if there is a setting somewhere that allows you to choose either to be the default?  The two values are New and Recurring Do you know if there is any connection between Business Type and any other field that would change it from New to Recurring based on a user action?  Other than the user intentionally selecting Recurring?  It seems to default to New but in some cases it has been set to Recurring.  We’re not sure how it would be set to Recurring since it is hidden for our users. Do you know it’s general purpose?  I have tried to find some description of it’s function in the documentation but haven’t been able to locate that information.  Thank you,Joann

When scheduling a block of shop order operations in sequence, what logic is used to determine the sequence in which the operations are scheduled? Is the final sequence based on prioritization by Order Need Date, Operation Finish Date, Remaining Resource Hours, something else?

Hi All,Is it the standard behavior in Intrastat reporting that Credit Invoices are shown with very less information in the Intrastat lines?In this case the Customer returns are showing with correct full information. (20 - Returned goods and replacement goods).But the Credit Invoice for the return is shown with very less information. The transaction category for this is “16 - Transactions involving actual or intended change of ownership for a consideration (used to denote a credit transaction)”. This seems to be wrong.Thanks

I have a Crystal Quick report under Customer order view.I have two custom Menus (MenuItem1 and MenuItem2) which prints the same report.MenuItem1 = Print the report with the “Summary” fieldMenuItem2 = Print the report without the “Summary” fieldI have added an Crystal report parameter - Print_SummaryIf Print_summary is true, summary is shown else suppressed.My question is how can I pass a static parameter value True or False to these MenuItem1 or MenuItem2 so that I can show or hide Summary.I do not want user to change the quick report parameter during runtime - that is the reason I use two different menus for the same report.
