Is there a way to set the default scheduling direction to Forward scheduling instead of Backward scheduling on Shop Orders?

There is any way that I can track the shipping's of the customer order. Because I would like to track the freight until they arrive to the customer.I know that the majority prefer to have a third party in this but i would like to do it from IFS10.Any help or idea could help, please.

Hi community, Do any of you know how we could handle the repair of purchased raw parts. Those are parts that have no structure. Example : We want to repair Off the shelf part 12345 in house without sending back parts to supplier. We would need a repair shop order to book time and possibly add components. Thanks!

Hi,The customer is using Apps10 (EE)Does somebody know how the load source (in the work center) influate the result of the RRP calculation  : In addition, another related question : the customer want to use the same work center for RRP and CRP (that is possible with IFS). After calculation of RRP and CRP, they would like to see the load coming from the master scheduling and the load coming from the order proposals / shop orders on the same screen. Is there any way to do this ?Thanks for your answers.Regards.Nicolas

Hi,There are three buttons(Yes, No and Cancel) available in  Warning message pop up window. Generally default is Yes. When we press enter key, default Yes button is pressed and action is performed. Is it possible to make default button as No, so when we press enter key No, button will be pressed and no action will be performed. If user wants he can select Yes button so action will be performed. Regards,Sauransu

HiI have a question regarding sick-leave and increment that I do not completely understand.I studied the topic entered some time ago but I don’t feel that I completely understand it. So here is my problem:Day 1 the sick person should not have any salary - one wage code for that and snould have no increment.Day 2 the sick person should have sick-leave pay - another wage code for that.AND the person has also right to increment from sick day 2. If I report sick-leave to the system then understand that I move from absence period 1 (where I get no pay) to absence period 2 (when I should get paid) “automatically”? Or do I have to report this absence two times? And if I want the person to get paid according to the schedule I guess I should choose absence calculation period type “Working hours” and nothing else? Grateful for any hits and tips here!

Is there any reason why we have to unchcek this box if it was created with it checked?  I could not find any system limitations if it stays checked.

I have read all of the existing Custom Event topics and don’t see anything that helps me with this. I believe it is a simple syntax issue but have tried everything I can think of, unsuccessfully. I am trying to calculate the cost of overissued material for a shop order component at the time it is overissued. It is all working fine, including custom attributes until I try to add one of the custom attributes to a calculation: The Attribute ‘Part Cost’ is calculating correctly and the Over_Cost attribute works until I add * Part_Cost  (to multiply the result of Qty_Issued - Qty_required times the part cost). When I add that Part Cost to the Over_Cost attribute, the event will no longer trigger. I have tried to specific Part_Cost in the calculation as Part_Cost and  :Part_cost  and &Part_Cost and “Part_Cost” and :NEW.Part_Cost and get varying errors with each.      Any syntax help is greatly appreciated. I love the Event/Event actions tool and the ability to add Custom Attributes. It l

Hi Is it somehow possible to simplify this proces of dropping files into IFS ?The users in my team asks if possible for IFS to automatically recognize the document class, while dropping files in IFS ?Any knowlegde or experience of such thing  - anybody ? Br,Marianne

I am stumped. Can someone help or point me where to figure out how I can drop a file into the file reader, read it in, and create a new record in a custom logic unit?I know I could do this with existing LUs using BizAPI but the LU I’m using is custom and has no BizAPI for it.

Hello, I have noticed an issue with Shop Orders that require an outside service. Often times we may choose to over run a shop order. So, an SO may start with an original Lot Size of 100, however we will run 150 parts. The issue with this practice is that the connected Purchase Order for the outside service does not increase to match the new lot size. I have reviewed the help section in IFS, but I do not see where or if the ability exists to ensure the PO increases with SO quantity. When this issue occurs, we are unable to receive all of the parts in from the supplier. We will then have to manually adjust the PO to match the qty, which causes significant administrative overhead. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
