Hi All, We just went through update 9 in IFS apps 10 and are running into an issue. On commission orders we used to be able to add an unconnected charge line and invoice that on it’s own. Now we have to add a $0 order line, connect it to the charge line, and change the wanted delivery date to today’s date so we can invoice it. It this new functionality or do I need to look for a setting somewhere? Thanks,Mike

Hi,     I have created a Sync Rule with delivery mode as Batch Delta and everything runs fine until the Mobile is initialized ,After initialization no data is there in the table and the data gets pushed the next time the sync rule runs.Is the app not supposed to download data for all tables when it is initialized for the first time.Am i missing something,Any guidance would be appreciated

Hi, We would like to do the authorization of a purchase on the purchase requisition level, because there we can use the Pre Posting based Authorisation. However, if the request is converted to a PO, you can still change whatever you want on the PO level. Is there a way to restrict is, or is the only way another set of approvals on the PO level? thanks!

I'm trying to create a event or addition, to set the Sales Quotation to state printed.The Sales Quotation is released if the attached document is released, it is triggered with the below custom event. Where can you set what you want your purchase order number to look like?  During implementation? 

We are running Apps10 UPD8 Our Finance department would like to start emailing Customer Statement Of Account reports directly from IFS.  We are testing the setup in our test environment.  We already use report rules to email other reports out of IFS, so I know IFS can send emails.Where we are atSetup the AR Customer Contact information under the Payment tab in Customer.  Output Media is E-Mail. When we run the report - I can see it in Report Archive with Notes = “Output Media: E-Mail, Language: en”  The Printed checkbox is not selected (correct) But - the email is not being sent.Based on the documentation, it sounds like it should just email, but I’m not sure if I need to setup something else.If this should work - any suggestions on where to look to figure out why the email is not being sent? Or do I need to setup a Report Rule to actually send the email? Thanks

Hello. I am testing an upload template to upload Depreciation Data that, if done manually, would have been entered into the Import Object window of an object. I am getting an error that says that an FA_OBJECT_TRANS_VALUE_TYPE is required. Could someone advise on what this is or what field in the IFS window it refers to? Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.    

Trying to refresh FACT_CONSOL_BALANCE and receiving the following error: Null value not allowed:  (ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into (“IFSAPP”.”CONSOL_BALANCE_MVT”.”BALANCE”)  Any ideas how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

While importing External Supplier Invoices we receive an error message the invoice already exists when in fact the invoice doesn’t exist.  We use FastAP to process our supplier invoices.  The error is intermittent.  I believe it is timing related and how busy the server is.  Any suggestions? Thanks      

We have an issue with the Payroll Postings. Quite a few entries are now missing the Account, there were no issues with previous payrolls and there have been no changes to the payroll. Last month and previous months posted correctly:  Any ideas what would cause this issue or why this would happen?Thank you.

Hi, I have just joined a manufacturing/defence company that has chosen IFS apps 10 as their erp of choice. I have supported users in the past but never been part of an implementation. They are asking me to put together a list of information we need to gather from the users that will help the implementation and config. Does anyone have any pointers/document?The only info I have is that IFS has listed these modules as within the scope: Distribution, Engineering, Finance, Project, Human Resources, Health & Safety, Maintenance, Program Management, Production (work orders etc.)

Hi,We experience an issue when we try to complete a project. We want to complete a project for 100%.When I run the ‘Generate Unfinished Work Activity Items' event in the Project Deliverables Navigator, I get the following result: I cannot set the status of the project to Completed because there are some supplier invoices which we have not received. So when I try to complete the project in the finance module, I cannot complete it for 100% because the status of the project is not Completed (and this is blocked by the supplier invoices which we have not received yet). The screenshot below shows the error in the finance module.  Is there a way to work around this issue? We want to complete the project for 100% and we do not want to wait on our suppliers for sending the invoices.We are on APPS10 Update 7.

Many sync jobs returned the same error.I ran the function manually, a different error returned.

Hi All, Issue:Customization option for default menu items isn’t working.Path:Go to “prepare work order” screen. RMB à Properties à Advanced Uncheck not required menu items from checklist and click OK. Again, click OK to apply changes.Expected result:Hide unchecked items.Actual result:All default items visible.

To simplify for Manufacturing operators using Shop Floor Work Bench, we are trying to set a default Work Center when the manufacturing user logs on and is taken to his homepage (Work Bench). We have tried setting a filter then saving the user profile but it did not work. Can this be done? Thanks

Hi Everyone,I’m new to the IFS Community so apologies if I’ve posted a question that has already been addressed.My company is currently running IFS9 update 16 and I’m just exploring a customer request which a lobby would be suitable for. I noticed, however, that when adding a line graph as a new element that the SQL statement when running the debugger is only fetching 100 rows -  (FETCH NEXT 100 ROWS ONLY). This is therefore not showing all the data we need.I took a look at the options within the element designer and data source designer but wasn’t able to find anything. Essentially we are looking for a line graph to show daily results. Is there anything I can do to overcome this or is this standard within IFS?Many Thanks,Dan
