When trying to login to the FSM Smart Client using SSO, the customer receives a message "Only the owner of a flow can change it." Why would this message appear when using Single Sign On?

We have to have separate responsiblities in supplier data between Purchasing dep (supplier data) and finance dep. (invoicing data) to make sure that no one can create a supplier without anyone else seeing it. Today we have a separate workflow in sharepoint so that Purchasing have to approve the changes and details finance enters. Is there any way to create a workflow for the entering of financial data on supplier so that purchasing dep. can approve the changes/data within IFS?What is that functionality called? Workflow? Thanks

Hello, by design the work order lifecyle is very open, allowing many transitions (forward, backward) to simplify and speed up the management of work orders. However for companies which would like to go through a more consistent and streamlined process across multiple entities doing maintenance, is there any way to set up the allowed and forbiddent transitions (e.g. it could be mandatory to have a work order always going through “Observed” status?). No BDR seem to drive this capability. Thanks!

In FSM Dashboard/Lobby we have the option to add filter’s based on the Lookup Source in Data Tab in Dashboard configure Page. However can we have multiple filter criteria’s which are dependent on each other. Example: First Filter Criteria is CountrySecond Filter Criteria is StateBased on The country selected, we would like the state values to be autofiltered and show the states associated to only the selected country. Requirement would be, on the lobby the manager should have option to see the entire Countries details and then he selects the state from filter (dynamically changing values based on country selection) and gets the results based on the state. Is that possible inside FSM Application and what would be the best way to handle this?

Hi Experts,Following is a simplified example to describe the issue at hand. When and inbound integration is done, if one of the fields has an ‘&’ character, the integration fails. The solution to this as I see it, is to transform the message as following, Hence, the question that I have is, is this a change that we can do from the FSM end when we receive the message? (transform & to &) or is it the case that the sender (third party system) has to make the change in the payload? Background: I’m trying to make a GET request from FSM to an external endpoint, and use an inbound map to capture the data in the response. But the inbound map doesn’t get processed due to the above mentioned issue. Before requesting the resource owners to change the payload, I’m trying to figure out whether there’s a solution/workaround from the FSM end.example of the response I get right now,Thanks in Advance!

We are on apps10 and the first print job each day gets stuck status waiting, so does not print.  If the same user prints the same item again, then the print job goes through fine to the printer. This seems to have been happening since we went live with IFS10.  We are using the new IFS print agent.  I have checked the logs there and the first print job does not show and the first job shown is the next print job that went through OK.  Everything else prints successfully during the day, until the next day when the first print job stays in status waiting. There is on average about 6 hours between the last print job of the previous day, to the first print on the next day.  We are planning to restart everything this evening to see if this helps, but any ideas what could cause this would be appreciated.  ThanksDarren

Hi Experts,One of our customers would like to know if there’s a plan to include a task_unit tab in the baseline Task screen.Even though the customer themselves could configure it, they want to know if the feature is going to be added in a later release. Thanks,Minindu

We are currently running Apps8, mWO on-prem. This means we cannot use the app from the Microsoft Store (as we were informed from the very beginning it is intended for Cloud only) and instead we have to use the executable file from the TAS.Windows changed their rules for sideloaded apps. It used to be controlled with a simple setting in Developer Mode. We are no longer able to install the .exe file from our latest images which have a version that is after 1909.Is there an updated .exe file that accounts for this Microsoft change?

My customer are in APP10 UPD12 using only Aurena client and MS AAD. They are going to start using the DOCMAN..Here is the question I received from customer “ I need to know the impact of Document Management on the system?  We are looking at approximately 1 million + documents per year.  What is the impact of using the default repository?  What options are available?  Ect" I have also read it in community note that “to over come the growing database concern, customer could opt for the other repository options which is already there in the document management. Those other options are FTP and shared folders (on the application server itself or on a network share).”But in another answer FTP and Shared document repositories are currently not supported there. Could someone clarify the above so we can give them a firm solution for this please?  Thank youUma Selvaraj

Does anyone know what “the role” is called so I can ask our IT department to add this to my user so I can do changes in Purchase Parts?  I can do changes in Purchase Part but not Purchase PartS.

Would you please look at the order below and let me know if this might be a bug or standard functionalityI think the Total Contr Margin/Base circled in red is calculated as (255+230)*-1 = -485.00Should it be calculated as (255-230)*-1 = -25 ?

When we are creating a customer order through a sales quotation, created document text(RMB Option) will be reflected in the Customer order. But when we enter a document text to a customer order where the supply code is “Purchase order Dir”, those entered document text will not reflect in the Purchase requisition or the purchase order. Is there any way to transfer document text from one window to another window when those windows have an interconnection such as “Purch order Dir”, “Purch order Trans”?

One of the customers have an RMA with 100 different lines. They are not connected to a CO, but they want to return all of these lines to one inventory location under one Lot/Batch. When we select multiple RMA lines from RM lines tab and RMB > Receive Parts… we get the lines like below, So, users need to select the RMA line by the drop down for 100 times and need to enter the Qty to Return. This is taking a lot of time and inconvenient. Is there any easier way which they can return these 100 different RMA lines?Thank you :)

Hi all, We are currently receiving the below error message when trying to copy costs.  Please can you help with what is causing this error/how to process? Thanks

APP10 UPD9I’m using this send email functionality to send the purchase order report to outside users. but this send the attachment with the name "PURCHASE_ORDER_PRINT_REP_<result key>.pdf".  Now wanted to add PO number in to the name of attachment.  So, created a report rule how I want the email. It’s works as expected, but user receiving 2 mails, one from report rule and one from the standard. Can we stop/skip the mail sending from the print job? I have tried with set “NO” to the SkipJobMail property in report rule.

Hi Everyone, I have an end user request for Return Completed RMA Lines to be tracked to the point they have been returned to stock in IFS or scrapped etc. In terms of the RMA process - return completed for us on the line is to show the product has been returned to us. We were looking to see if we can track this to see the point in which the product is returned to stock (if able to do so). The closest I have got to is looking at Inventory Transaction History per Part for the part number and date and see what the transaction is that follows the RMA to see if the product has been returned to stock or scrapped etc. This isn’t the best approach as we cannot be sure that another transaction against the part will happen between the RMA and the part transaction we are interested in.Has anyone else encountered a similar scenario and if so what approach was best to take?I was thinking of using one of the existing fields when booking the RMA into a location to record the RMA number but wasn’t sur

How to search null when filter type is enumeration ?

What would consider as the main reason to have naming differences in referring same data in different part of the application? For example, information shows in ‘Customer Invoice Types’ window under ‘Layout ID’ Column is as follows,Same Information shows in "Report definition" window with a different naming, which is "Report ID"What would be the main reason for such naming differences to exist in the application? Is that due to the fact that development had handled by different teams at different time frames during the product life cycle?

I remember I have seen information about the new functionality in the Audit Interface regarding SAF-T reporting in Norway, but now when we need it I can’t find it. Does anybody have information to share about how to set up the data to be able to extract the SAF-T html file to the Norwegian authorities? We are running IFS10, UPD8
