HiIs anybody automatically matching rental lines to invoices in IFS. We have done it with PO lines but we are looking for a solution to do it with Rental lines that would feed into accruals for period-end reporting

Environment: Preview Environments Portal Test plan: Log into IFS 10 Enterprise Explorer  Create a lobby element and add it to an existing lobby. Verify that it is working as expected in the EE.  Now go to Aurena and try to open that lobby.  I am getting the below error. Does anyone know why I am getting this error. Where do I go to find the IFS Applications 10 Interface Reference Reports for Update 9 and 10.  This is the excel file which details all the API, Table and View changes for the Update.

Hi All,When we create a context filtered by USER_ID (For an example, in the newly created context we change the label value from "Site" to "TSite"). Following are some of the questions regarding this scenario.How will the changed context value("TSite") will be sent to the mobile device? Will it be stored in any table in the mobile device or is there any other mechanism? How can I confirm whether the changed context value has been transferred to the mobile device without viewing the UI? Is there any specific permission that should be granted to mobile user to get the newly created context value ?Best Regards,Atheeq Mahroof

Using Apps10.  We are using a PO to receive returns from customers because we need to have the parts be customer owned.  If we use an RMA the ownership changes to Company Owned.  We would like to reserve the serial number to the PO line when the PO is created.  When we try to do that we get the message that the serial number is already used by this part.  However, when we do a Receive with Serial Numbers we are allowed to enter an existing serial number.  It seems that if we can receive an existing SN we should be able to reserve an existing SN.  Does anyone know if there is a way to reserve existing serial numbers to a PO?

Hi,What is the user case behind the Start Downtime and Stop Downtime functionality in Shop Floor Workbench?If I Start Downtime on an ongoing operation, why only the machine time clocking stop and labor keep on clocking? Why not Stop Production?  Is it wrong practice to use Start Downtime on an ongoing operation, instead of Interrupt the operation?Cheers

OEE access paths not visible in Aurena application.Does that functionality available in Aurena Application (any track)?

Maybe a stupid question, but what do I need to do in order to get back the task pane from the Migration Jobs when they are gone in Excel? When I close this screen, I need to disconnect and connect to get this back, I can't imagine this is the prescribed way to do this.

Hi, We are facing an issue regarding Task synchronization with mobile devices. Although we have set some constrains based on Task Status and Task type (working as expected when the device is initialized) they are not working in real time sync. Do you know which queries controls the real time sync? Hi, What is the logic behind Time Commit status? I was trying to understand if there is any App Parameter or Business Rule which controls it, but I’m not finding anything.  I’m asking this because in our solution we have a Business Rule which creates task time commits with status ACTIVE, but FSM automatically changes it to NOT_MONITORED. I check on previous FSM version (FSM 6.6) and this TC_STATUS (FSM Code) does not exist, is this new with version 6.7 or 6.8? Best regards,João Oliveira

Customer open Apps7.5, the buttons that normally appear on the top-right of the page are missing. The buttons include populate, search, save, etc.Is there a way to fix this?

Hi,When we loose a BO and choose a “lost-reason”, we also have to choose a “Lost-To” reason on the BO. We cannot close the BO, without choosing a Lost To reason. We are not interested in gathering that information - does anybody know, if it is possible to simply remove that field or have it fillled in pr. default with a * star icon, as I have illustrated in the example below:   

I need to give access to a user for a particular document classI did this using window “Document Management\Basic Data\Document Basic → Access Template tab”. i.e. Person is added to the document class and given view and edit access.After this security refresh still my user cant access the attachments done by other users. When this access is given to the user can he view documents attached in the application by other users as well?Or do I have to setup something else?  Do I need to give the “Docman Administrator” system privilege to the user to do this? version: Application 10 UPD 7   

Hello: We are currently on IFS App 9 version. Recently we installed TAS for App 9 and started using the IFS Time Tracker 9. Our field technicians were able to download the Time Tracker 9 app in their respective iOS devices and start reporting time. We have one field technician who uses an android device and he downloaded the app from:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ifsworld.timetracker9.android&hl=en&gl=USBut when he tries to log in he gets the following error: Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Hi everybody!We are having trouble with finding a solution for internal transports within production. We want to notify the dedicated forklift driver when a WIP is ready to be transported from a work center to another within IFS. We were not able to solve the issue with ‘transport task’ because it’s a WIP.  The forklift is equipped with a IFS computer so we also considered using ’quick report’ to form a list that shows all work centers and their current status, but this solution also has its problems.Does anyone have a suggestion to this problem? All help is appreciated!Charles
