When installing Developer Studio Version 22.1, it fails after installing with the following error:Tried reboot of computer, uninstall and install again, but no go. Also the previous version I have installed now comes with an alert that it will only work on iFS9 projects.

Can you change the default copy options for Customer Order? We don’t want to have to uncheck options we never use.Thank you,

HI,Trying to easily (not tying a bunch of different reports together) and easy way to tie back the lot number of the material consumed on a shop order back to the receipt on a Purchase Order so I can specifically see the price we paid for the material consumed in specific shop orders. Does anyone know an easy way to see this within IFS? Thanks!

Hi all, I want to test a notification which will send report on DEV.in App Params SMTP setups on PROD and DEV are the same.Using the same app params, on PROD sending notification works, but not on DEV. Notification message is setup correctly.  Distribution list is setup correct.A notification business rule  triggers in task_event when task is completed.  Is there anything else I should change/check/connect for DEV to make it works? FSM6

Hi All, Actually while creating a Customer order with items in line level, the line level status changes to Released after saving the record and Customer order remains in Planned status at header level.Main concern is that the demand for the part item is getting created automatically against the CO line item when supply code is  selected as “Int Purch Dir” or something other even though  Customer order (At header level) status remains at Planned Status. In Inventory Part availability planning window, the demand getting created for the line level part.Could anyone suggest or guide us how to stop the demand creation process at planned status or rectify the same. Do we need to change any basic/master level data for the same.Thank you,BR/shiraj

Hi Team , Can we add cust apparam rule has a condition in sync rule , like I have created a custom apparam for days of site history to be synced , code value = 7, I need to put this constraint in the sync for a view table (site history view), which will sync only the site history of the task before 7 days from current date.so I need to add in the xml to compare the created dttm of task and related task for same place within 7 days . Can anyone suggest the solution for this. ThanksMuthujayashree R 

Hi,We often have pilots open at the same time as Production and want to avoid accidentally using the wrong database.  Is there a way to change the colour of the Header section, so that it is always visible? We did find a way to change the modules background colours but they are only visible when you open them but we really want this to be obvious all the time.We are using V14.5 at the moment but soon to upgrade to V15.4, so we really want this mostly for V15.4 please (14.5 would be a bonus too, if you know it).ThanksChris

Hello, I am looking into streamlining the current manufactured Inventory Part creation process. Today, our Engineering department uses the Copy Part feature to create a new mfg Inventory Part. Unfortunately, while this process is quick, it has lead to issues where parameters are set incorrect (Inventory Part record form). Most of the time, this is due to the associate forgetting to change a planning parameter, or general part information. I did find the New Part Assistant wizard, but it appears to only work for Purchased Parts and Non-Inventory Sales Parts.I was hoping a wizard similar to the NPA would exist to quickly enter an Inventory Part. I have not found anything, and was curious what other methods may be available to enter the basic data elements needed to start a new manufactured Inventory Part record. 

Hi, There are two questions I’m looking for an answer. What is the standard procedure of version controlling IFS BR Reports? We have 75+ BR Reports and is there any way of version controlling these in IFS Cloud with Git? What is the best way of moving reports between environments (Dev →  SIT → UAT → PROD) in IFS Cloud with a delivery. I found below topic on this. Moving Business Reporter Reports between DBs | IFS Community Is it still the same? We have 75+ BR Reports and it is not practical manually moving between environments. It is also not possible to use Application Configuration Packages with BR Reports. Is there any workaround we can attach BR Reports with the delivery process in IFS Cloud? Thanks in advance. Regards,Dasun

Hello all,Pardon if this subject is incorrect or wrong Sub forum, this is my first post.We are still in Apps9 and fairly new in IFS still. We have a structure setup Parent ID → Child ID → serialized items. But when we try to add a serialized item we often get the error message “Functional Object No () can not be change because Serial Status is not in “In Facility”, “Contained”, “In RepairWorkshop” og “In Inventory”.Part Owership states “Customer Owned” which is correct. But we need to be able to keep track of the items under the parent Object ID.Is there a way we can link the Serial Objects to a Parent Object, even with “Ownership” being Customer Owned? Thank you,Michael

I’ve seen that IFS has a customization layer that can be used to add code to modify how some IFS processes work, can anyone give me advice on how to learn how to do this?  Is there some training available from someone at IFS or documentation on the process?  A generic example of what I’m looking to do is if IFS has a menu option A, I’d like to run code to check some condition B, if condition B isn’t satisfied then show an error message and prevent the IFS code from running.  We have experience with both PL/SQL and Java so I believe this could be very useful to us, we just aren’t sure where to go to learn how to start using it.

Hi,Obviously FSM6 can run the client in web browser, we’re just not there yet, we’re still on FSM5.7U11. But a few years back I was messing around with FSM5.6 and had that running in a web browser instead of the fat client. We’re currently, after upgrading our Citrix OS from Windows 2016 to 2019, having some issues with performance in FSM. Namely ‘Not Responding’ and the screen going blurry as the users wait for the APP-V clients to respond. I have been asked by our Infrastructure team if FSM can be run via a browser. Like I say FSM6 yes. But I’m sure I had a browser version running in 5.6 too, but we left that behind. If if can be run via a Browser, does anyone have any steps to get that set-up?Alternatively if anyone else has updated their Citrix OS from 2016 to 2019, had some performance issues and resolved them, i’d been keen to hear how that was done too.  Thanks in advanceAdy

Hello,when I attach an attachment in IEE, the attachment is not available in B2B. If I attach an attachment in B2B, in IEE is available. So the problem is just from IEE to B2B.attachment is released no matter which object (Purchase order, Customer order,…) the problem is also in AurenaI tried to set all projections and object transformation but I started to get insecure, so there can be some mistake. Thank you form help :-) 

Hi,I wanted logic and calculation of Base Value when created Dep. Proposal in Apps10.I have created a object with two value : 1. Acquisition Value , 2. Depreciated Value.According to me, Next Depreciation Proposal Should calculate Base Value  (Acq. Value - Dep. Value).But it's calculating Base value as Acquisition Value. Ex. Acq. Value : Rs. 100000      Dep. Value : Rs. 75000. then Base Value in Dep Proposal should be Rs. 25000 and next depreciation calculation should be on Rs. 25000. Thanks.

I have scheduled a Seperate PM Action so that we do it once per year. As I set Valid From to a date one year back, the system created two work orders, wich is correct as two of the dates have passed.However, I decided to cancel the Work Order for previous year as we are going to do the maintenance now (wich is the second created work order). Now when I look in Mainenance Plan Analysis it still shows both work orders. Is there an easy way to not show work orders that have been canceled? Option:Is there a way to open a cancelled scheduled maintenance work order and set Actual Finish date to the same day as the work order was canceled?

We added a custom field for work orders in the mobile app. How do we get that field to show up for all mobile users? Does it require an initialization or a profile push?

Hi,when you are using warehouse mobile edge, you can make a search on a product.1/ Is it possible to see attachments linked (on the product center) to the product ?For example : you could see a procedure for a technical or logistic preparation of this product.2/ Is it possible to know with a Search or other action : How many product are in a location (bin) ? If you are a logistics worker in the field, you often want to know how many prodcuts are in a bin.Thanks and Regards 

Greetings!In Apps 8, a sub project completion was done and as its voucher date was incorrect, a rollback was done for that.Then, when the sub project completion was attempted to run again, attached error message appears.Further, the activity sequence appears in GL Voucher rows analysis only for the first capitalization but not for the rollback.Can someone please explain1. The reason why this error appears?2. Why activity sequence does not appear for the rollback? Does that mean rollback did not happen properly? Thank you!
