The purchase order authorization notifications are different events from the purchase requisition notifications. Have you enabled and setup any actions on the below events?
The events that begin with NOTIFY typically have actions defined to send notification to the IFS Notify Me mobile application but you can create additional actions to send emails or steam messages.
