Hello

I am adding a Standard Parameter with the ability to input multiple values into a BR report.  I can run the report when I input 9 values as shown below, but when I input a 10th value the report will not run - I get the dreaded ‘Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete and OLE action’ message.  This seems odd - any input on whether there is some kind of a limit to multiple values in a parameter?

@cynthia.wilson  I had an idea that the issue may be related to a size limit on a BA table somewhere, so I tried to reproduce it by setting a default value to 10 values with 10 numbers each, like your project ids.  I got a more helpful error than you got, so I checked out the view and it is set to only allow 100 characters.  If I limit my default value to nine sets of 10, the report runs because it’s 90 characters plus eight “;” between the groups.

Of course that doesn’t solve your issue, it just tells us why it’s happening.  To get around it, is it possible to choose another value that results in your default project ids?  Maybe Customer or another project related category?

Thank you Tracy!   Its helpful to know that it is a true limit and not something buggy.  I’ll have to see if I can find something else to key off of to get the necessary list of projects.
